126 Fugaku Destroyed Box - bonus chapter

In the eerie silence that followed, Fugaku found himself trapped in the aftermath of the bizarre event. The box before him, once thought to be a mere container, had revealed a sinister secret—a suction force that transcended the boundaries of mere chakra absorption.

"What strong suction!" Fugaku exclaimed, his instinctual reaction escaping his lips.

Barely given a moment to process the unfolding situation, he hastily thrust his right foot into the ground, attempting to anchor himself against the unseen force. Fugaku's brow furrowed as he grappled with the unexpected challenge of being rooted to the spot.

It dawned on him that this malevolent box was no longer content with absorbing chakra alone; it hungered for living beings. Fugaku, a master of chakra control, was adept at securing his stance on any surface. However, to his dismay, his chakra proved ineffective against the insidious suction emanating from the box.

Despite his expertise, he found himself powerless against this force, struggling as the suction persisted. Fortunately, after an agonizing thirty seconds, the relentless pull ceased.

It was not a very large box, but it had swallowed nearly two prisoners in that short time.

The box, though modest in size, had devoured nearly two hundred people in that brief span.

In the aftermath, only a handful of prisoners with special abilities clung to the edges of the square, managing to anchor themselves to the ground just enough to escape the clutches of the malevolent box.

The survivors, mere witnesses to the harrowing event, stared wide-eyed at the scene before them, grappling with the realization that they had narrowly escaped a gruesome fate.

Amidst the bewildering aftermath, the square echoed with whispered questions: "What is happening?"

The mysterious suction force had abated, leaving behind an additional box and an unexpected figure. The once chaotic scene now exudes an eerie calm.

As the survivors among the prisoners attempted to rise and flee, fear gripped them, and their trembling legs betrayed their desperate escape attempts.

In the midst of this surreal tranquility, the creature slowly turned its head, its malevolent gaze fixating on Fugaku. A wicked grin played on its twisted features as it disregarded the frightened attempts of those trying to escape.

Instead, it began a deliberate approach towards Fugaku, who stood resolute with his feet entrenched in the ground.

As Fugaku sensed the malevolence emanating from the creature, an overwhelming disgust settled within him.

The unsettling feeling surged, compelling the activation of his Sharingan. His unease morphed into a focused determination, prompting swift hand seals.

"Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!"

A colossal fireball erupted from Fugaku's mouth, hurtling with blistering intensity toward the advancing creature. The flames roared, casting an infernal glow across the square as the clash between Fugaku's jutsu and the malevolent force unfolded.

Yet the creature, displaying an uncanny anticipation, deftly avoided the impending danger. It streaked across the square with remarkable agility, leaving behind a swift blur as the fireball sailed harmlessly past.

Fugaku's brow furrowed in surprise and concern. "Can it foresee my moves?"

Before he could unravel the mystery, a chorus of anguished cries pierced the air. The creature had maneuvered to the side of two unsuspecting criminals, seizing them by their necks.

In a brutal motion, it hurled them towards the ominous box, which devoured them.

"Hasn't Box stopped devouring?" Fugaku furrowed his brows, observing the peculiar behavior of the creature. "You are not Mui's brother. What are you?"

Before the creature could offer any answers, an agonizing scream pierced the air. It clutched its head in apparent torment.

"Is it transforming?" Fugaku mused, momentarily taken aback. The creature's limbs, from arms to shoulders, legs, and torso, began to undergo a rapid and unsettling expansion.

In a matter of seconds, what stood before Fugaku was a colossal, bird-like creature, towering over ten meters in height. Its size mirrored that of formidable beings like Gamabunta and the Eight-Tails, boasting large wings and an aura of unrestrained power.

The creature, however, bore an unsettling appearance— with bones protruding from the mouth on its chest, covered in black feathers. A long, thin tail trailed behind it, while its clawed hands and feet appeared sickly thin, almost bone-like, with skin stretched taut.

The prisoners, gripped by terror, found themselves paralyzed at the sight of the monstrous creature before them.

Before anyone could react, the creature's razor-sharp claws tore through the air, slashing at the defenseless prisoners. The ground crumbled beneath the force of the creature's assault, sending shockwaves through the surroundings.

Fugaku, realizing the impending danger, attempted to dodge the onslaught. However, to his dismay, his feet were firmly stuck in the ground. The very chakra that had once anchored him against the suction force is now trapping him.

Undeterred, Fugaku focused his chakra, forming a chakra shield around his body, and concentrated it in his palm to free his feet from the ground.

The creature, now endowed with newfound speed after its transformation, lunged at Fugaku with incredible swiftness, swinging its massive paw.

Fugaku knew he was in trouble; the defense he created by the chakra shield seemed inadequate against the creature's relentless attack. as the creature's paw descended.

"Fire Style: Flame Bullet!"

In a split second, a blazing fireball skillfully controlled itself to narrowly miss Fugaku. Jiraiya, with his unique Fire Style technique, had intervened at a critical moment.

Simultaneously, Fugaku's fist smashed into the ground, creating a shockwave that rippled through the earth. The creature, displaying remarkable nimbleness, evaded the fiery assault.

Quick to seize the opportunity, Fugaku, now freed, capitalized on Jiraiya's distraction. With a series of agile jumps, Fugaku strategically distanced himself from the formidable beast, preparing for the next phase of the intense confrontation.

The monstrous entity responded by unfurling its massive wings, ascending into the sky with an imposing presence.

"Is that... feathers?" Fugaku's Sharingan eyes widened with astonishment, and he urgently shouted to Jiraiya, who had just joined the fray, "Watch out!"

The feathers, razor-sharp and more lethal than kunai, descended with menacing precision, creating various noises as they pierced even the hard stone beneath. Jiraiya, retreating from the onslaught, couldn't help but exclaim, "Damn. What is this thing?"

Fugaku, constantly in motion, continued to evade the feathered assault. Hearing Jiraiya's question, he unintentionally blurted out, "Damn, I don't remember this plot at all."

If he had known about the monstrous beast, he mused, he might have approached the situation differently.

"Plot?" Jiraiya, navigating through the flurry of feathers, looked puzzled. What was Fugaku talking about?

Realizing his slip, Fugaku changed the subject abruptly as he observed the creature, and the feather attack ceased. "This beast seems to want to kill us. Do you have any good ideas?"

The diversion worked seamlessly, as the creature remained fixated on the people in the square, showing no inclination to retreat.

"It came out of that box; maybe we can destroy that box!" Jiraiya suggested, his gaze fixed on the airborne beast.

Fugaku, determined, turned his attention to the box in the center of the square. "Alright, I'll go for it. You cover me!"
