Chapter 19 It's a Date

As soon as we step into his office, Gin lunges at me pushing me against the hall of the office door. His body pressed on my mind. I can feel him on my belly. He wants me. My mind only anticipates the pleasures of his moves. He kissed me on my lips and explore my mouth with his tongue. Without resistance, I let him carry me. My legs are around his waist and his arms support my lower back.

He sits on the couch while I'm on top of him. We continue to kiss passionately. I feel his hands moving inside my dress, reaching my bra.

"Wait!" I screamed.

I jump out from him in a panic.

"Not again George." He said in a frustrated voice.

"Your hands inside my dress," I answered.

He exhales in frustration.

"Come here." He said in a soft voice.

He grabs my hands and pulls me gently. I sit on his lap.

"What are you worried about? Tell me?" He asked.

"Nothing," I answered shortly.

I'm worried that I can't remember anything. Something is wrong but I don't know what is it. And I know he's not over Mina yet and it bothers me.

"Okay. If you don't want to, that's fine. Maybe we should do this slow then. How about we go on a date or something." He said.

I look at him and nodded. "Yes."

He smiled.

"Where do you want to go?"

I've been thinking about this for a while. I want to spend time with him to know him more or remember.

"I want to go to the movies with you, eat, and stroll around while holding hands," I said.

"Yes, we can do that." He answered. "How bout tomorrow?"

"Yes, I'm free."

"Good. Can we go back to kissing now? I promise I won't put my hands under your dress." He said in a teasing voice.

We laugh about it.

"Gin, I know I was pretty wild back then before the accident. Before I lost my memory. But I can't remember how I was or what I did. I don't remember you. Right now, you're just a gorgeous stranger. Everything that is happening is very new to me. Some things are still confusing for me." I explained.

His gaze is full of concern and understanding.

"I'm sorry. I should have considered that. I'm glad you open that up. I can wait."

His fingers softly brushed my hair. I rest my head on his shoulder. His arms cover. I feel safe.

I'm glad he understands.

We continue shopping with Cherry in the afternoon. He's been very helpful. I thought he'll get bored but he enjoys teasing me while I try shoes and dresses.

He sends me home late in the afternoon and spends his dinner with my family.

After he left, Bett speak to me.

"You are getting along." She uttered.

I'm drinking my milk while standing in front of the window. I'm thinking about our date tomorrow. I'm excited and couldn't sleep. It will be our first date as a couple.

"Yeah," I answered shortly.

"I think he likes you," She said in a teasing tone.

"He should. He's getting married to me." I said then laugh nervously.

"I'm just curious what changes his mind about you? He hates you before." She said.

"I don't know. I don't even know how much he hates me but it's in the past now."

"Yes. I just hope."

I look at Bett. She looks concerned about something.

"What is it, Bett?" I asked.

"Nothing." She answered with a forced smile.

"Come on. Tell me."

She looks at me hesitating to speak.

"I know it's absurd but what if he's doing this to get back to you. Revenge. I just want you to be careful with him."

Revenge? Gin seems not the type to do something like that.

"I'm sure it's not like that," I answered.

"Of course. I just want you to be careful with him while you're still not married yet. Do you know what I mean?"

I blushed when I get what she was implying.

"I know. And I'm being careful."

"Good."

The next morning, Gin arrived at our house to pick me up for our date. We went to a movie theater in Vergara Mall.

"What do you want to watch?" He asked as we look up at the list of movies playing.

"What about this one. It seems good."

I point at a poster of a movie. Dinosaurs.

He smiled.

"You like dinosaur movies?" He asked. He's laughing at me.

"I like them better than people," I uttered.

"Really? How 'bout me?" He asked. His eyes narrowed while looking at me

I blushed. I know he's teasing again.

"I like you better cause I can kiss you."

He's stunned for a moment. He didn't expect my flirty response. He smiled. Fascinated by my remarks he lowers down at me and whispered.

"Hmm. Are you sure you want to watch a movie? We can go somewhere else." He said, teasing me again.

I miss his lips on mine but not now.

"Tempting but Nah. I'd like to watch the movie for now." I answered then smirk at him.

He laughs in amusement.

"Fine." He uttered.

"Wait. This one seems better. Zombies." I said while looking at the poster. "Let's watch this!" I said excitedly.

We went inside the cinema. We brought popcorn and drinks. We watch the movie silently but I noticed in my peripheral vision his few glances. I felt his arms around my shoulder. I lean on his shoulder comfortably.

"Oh my god!" I screamed when the zombie almost catch the main character.

"Run!" I screamed.

The main character stumbled on the ground while running away from the zombies.

"Damn! Why are you so stupid! Stand up!" I shout in frustration.

The other character helps the other one to stand and they both run while the other one is limping. She sprained her ankle. The zombies almost got them but they were able to reach the car and hop in. But the main character's USB that contains the research studies of the virus falls on the ground before she closed the car door.

"Perfect!" I exclaimed in a frustrating voice.

The characters started to argue to leave immediately or got out of the car to get the USB. The other characters argue that they should leave first because the zombies are starting to surround them but the main character holds the steering wheel when the driver started the car. They fight for the control of the steering wheel while driving and end up banging into the glass of a convenience store nearby. Two of the passengers died instantly including the driver.

"She's so dumb for the main character," I screamed.

The main character cried when she saw her friends die. The zombies heard her loud annoying cry and run towards the wreak car. One of her friends that are still alive helps her get out of the car. They started to run but the main character remembers the USB. She turned around and run towards the USB.

"What? Why? Why are you so stupid? Turn around! You can come back later!"

When her friends saw this. They also followed her and shot any zombies that comes her way until she got the USB. But her friends got bitten while trying to save her.

"What the f!"

I turned to Gin. He's looking at me stunned with his mouth hanging open.
