Chapter 5

Odetta

   It has been 2years since I met my mate. I have been in the fae kingdom since then. I kill animals, sell their pelts in the market. I also have been teleporting to  vampire kingdom. That is where the council is. The council consists of all supernaturals. The 9 supernaturals. Vampire, witch, elemental, Angel, werewolf, demon, fae, fairies, and finally trolls. So they each have one so combined there are 9 councils. The council are elders in each kingdom who have lived for thousands of years. They are very powerful. But not as powerful as a hybrid. During their days hybrids were not in existence; they can't kill hybrids because there are many now. Hybrids are more powerful than the elders. But the elders combined are more powerful than hybrids.

   Tribrids are more powerful than elders combined. Everybody knows about the Tribrid boy that was killed. He was 5 years old but very powerful. That child didn't go down without a fight. The council has heard about the demon, vampire and warlock tribrid. They quickly hunted the family down. They have gotten to the family and they killed the boy parents. The boy started crying so loudly the council wanted to kill the boy. They sent different powers to The tribrid while the vampire, troll and werewolf stood and watched. The boy was still crying loudly. Then there was a big blast then all the elders went flying.

   The boy was not dead, the boy got more angry. Nobody knew the spirit controlling that child. After hours the child collapsed but didn't die. The council got closer to the child and tried to kill him in his sleep but their magic was blocked. They sent for all the hybrids they could gather. The boy woke up and just sat on the floor looking sad. Then the hybrids came. 2 hybrids sent their power and nothing happened to the boy he didn't die. The vampire council decided to let all of them send their power to the baby at once and that is what they did. It took hours for the globe around the baby to break when it finally did the powers consumed him and the child was nowhere to be found. Maybe he died, maybe he disappeared nobody know's but the council considered him dead. The council and elders immediately collapsed. Their powers were drained. The vampire and werewolf quickly called a witch to transport them home. They were all asleep for months. Since then all kingdoms have made a rule. No hybrid is allowed to mate With other supernaturals. So that is the bad side of hybrids; they can be intimate but are not allowed to birth or breed. No other tribrid has existed since the boy except for me so that is why I have to stay hidden. The boy hair was golden and he had red eyes. My hair is also golden but I have red and blue eyes.

  If that child had grown he would have been very powerful. If I want to come out of hiding I have to kill the council. Because the council operates all the kingdoms and their word is final. All the kings and queens bow down to the council except my mate. He refused to bow to the council and my mate was once in a war way before I was born but the council retreated because innocents were dying.

   I miss my mate. The  bond allows me to miss him and sometimes I feel this immense sadness so 3 times in a week I teleport to the demon kingdom. I sit beside my mate but I'm always invisible. I know he can feel a presence but he can't tell who is in the study or throne room with him. There have been times when someone will try to cheat him. Like for instance there was a time a general had been stealing from the royal treasury and he blamed it on one of the generals. All the points were pointing at the accused. Stealing from a royal is a crime punishable by death. The man was saying he didn't steal it but nobody believed him including Orion. I looked into the man's past and I found out he didn't steal the money and jewelry. I looked around the throne room. I saw a particular man with a cold smile. I looked into his memory and I found out he was the one that stole it. Orion was about to sentence him to death. I held his hands. He can't see me but he can feel my hands and the sparks. I projected the general memory to him. Then he sentenced the other general, the real thief, to death. People were shocked, especially the thief. I decided to use my powers to make him say the truth and he did.

  So i always help him with royal cases and when i leave i always leave a kiss on his cheek. I have also been tracking down the council I listen to their conversations. They are giving up on finding me. The council felt a presence one day so i started entering the troll mind since he is the weakest so i listen to the conversations. The vampire and demon are really determined to kill me. The fae just keeps quiet and looks around. She contributes sometimes. The rest have given up finding me. The demon is already giving up but that vampire is really stubborn. I am going to strike when they don't expect it but first i have to visit my mate.

King Orion

   It has been 2 years no clue about the market woman so I gave up and concentrated on my kingdom. After a month I always have this longing feeling. I don't know why. And there is this time of the week when I feel a presence. I always feel calm with the presence and the presence always helps me with the royal court. I know it's my mate because I feel the sparks when she touches me and kisses my cheeks. I always wonder when she will show herself and stop hiding. Today I was sitting in my study and I suddenly felt the presence. I smiled. She is here again. I continued my work then I felt the presence shifting. It shifted to my laps and I could feel immense sparks. I chuckled.

'mate you are romantic today, normally you sit quietly beside me' i said amused. I didn't get a reaction from her. I signed. She started touching my face probably because i looked stressed.

'I know you would have figured I'm your mate. I can't show you myself yet but i will one day mate. Mate is so warm' i heard a soothing voice inside my head the voice was so lovely. Then she wrapped her hands around my waist. I only know because of the sparks.

'I am waiting mate hopefully it won't be long' i said. If any body saw me they will think I'm running mad. Then my mate did something she revealed her body! I could see her body except her hair and face. 

'Mate' i said smiling. I touched her hands it's so soft her skin looks so milky and fresh. She was wearing a gown that reached her knee with a shoe that was covering her legs. I wrapped my hands aroud her waist and draw her closer.

'mate i don't know why you are hiding but i will wait for you. I can't wait to see your face i know you will be the most beautiful female in the kingdom' i said still hugging her close. Then i heard a knock. Who dare interrupt my time with my mate?! 

'i will visit you later mate' she said in my head. Then her lips revealed. Lord she has such a small pink lips. I wanted to kiss it and i did. Her lips are so warm and tasted of berries. She pulled away then disappear i didn't feel her presence. I smiled my beautiful mate.

'My king! You there' i heard a voice and it was concubine Margaret. What does she want now.

'Come back later your king is busy' i said angrily. She left since her punishment she never talk back. I haven't been with anyone for years now. I decided to wait for my beautiful mate. When she is ready to show herself. I smiled.
