"Hey, if you dare, come fight fair! Take off all these straps!" challenged Zay for the umpteenth time, she was annoyed when no one responded. Her anger was like a dog barking, ignored.
"Asshole!" cursed Zay, she continued to loosen the straps which felt useless, even the legs were difficult to move.
The driver and his partner just glanced at Zay from the rearview mirror, they were very annoyed by Zay's ramblings, but it was better than being punched by the former head of the bodyguards.
"Watch out you guys, I'll remember your faces and if I see you anytime or anywhere I'll knock you unconscious!" threatened Zay grumbling, she was running out of ways and didn't want to accept that she could only threaten and swear.
The car carrying Zay passed through a wooden door with fresh grass on either side. The car continued straight through a dark, cave-like passage, then turned left for a few meters and arrived.
"Get four men to drag her out!" the bodyguard said to the driver, he sat in front of her and occasionally held his aching stomach.
"Okay, just a moment," the driver replied as he opened the door, lowering his right foot first as he got out of the car.
Not far from where the car stopped, there was another 2 meter high door guarded by several bodyguards. With the dim light from the bolham lamp, it created a tense atmosphere. Not long after, the driver brought the 4 bodyguards, then opened the passenger door roughly.
"Don't move so much!" the bodyguard with the scar on his cheek told Zay. He had difficulty coping with the rebellious Zay, who refused to get out of the car.
"You'll see, after I escape, I'll beat you to death!" Zay swore in a voice full of emotion.
Zay could no longer move, as her body was carried by four people at once. She was like a big log being moved somewhere. Zay arrived at an abandoned room, she was dropped down with her chest landing first.
"Argghh, stupid pain!" moaned Zay writhing, she tilted her body while looking around the room.
"Shut up!" snapped the bodyguard. He pulled Zay's arm until he stood up again. Then he and his three colleagues hooked a chain to each of Zay's hands. The chains dangled down, tied firmly to the iron pillars on either side. Once bound, then the handcuffs that shackled Mazaya's hands were opened.
"Kneel!" the bodyguard ordered. He didn't see Zay obeying his orders, so he happily kicked Zay's legs to force her to kneel.
"Cowards, all of you!" cursed Zay angrily. She fell to her knees with half her body still standing upright as the chains tightly bound her hands together.
Zay's watchful eyes did not stop looking at all the faces of the bodyguards there. She did not find a single bodyguard who had been her subordinate, you could say all the bodyguards there were new people. Zay vowed to beat them all up if given the chance to escape.
"Good job!" Someone's voice from a distance filled the entire room. He was walking while clapping his hands, coming from Zay's right side. The voice got closer and clearer revealing a sweet face with a wicked smile.
"Hello stupid bodyguard chief, we meet again," greeted Roderick without a friendly smile, just a grin and a vengeful look on his face.
"Abercio!" Zay's vibrating voice brought back all her dark memories. Her body heated up with pain, resentment, and stinging.
The bodyguards who were around Zay stayed away. They made room for Roderick to settle his issues with Zay. They all watched silently behind Roderick, as whatever was going to happen would be kept secret and carried to the end. That was the rule.
"I had a very bad day after meeting you, damn it. You know what caused you to be dragged to this damp place?" asked Roderick with a squint, he took off the suit attracting the attention of all the bodyguards.
"Catch this, if there's a speck of dirty water on my suit, you'll all die!" threatened Roderick as he looked to the side for a moment to threaten all the bodyguards in the room.
Roderick threw the suit in any direction that made all the bodyguards run desperately to catch it. There were even some bodyguards who were willing to fall into the water puddle just to secure Roderick's suit. The sight made Zay spit out.
"What a disgusting act!" Zay complained while looking away.
"Ha ha, you're great for daring to hit and insult me." Roderick stopped laughing it was replaced with a smirking smile. His right hand raised up, a bodyguard who knew his orders immediately placed a baseball bat over Roderick's palm.
"Cheer up after hearing my last compliment. Now you're dead, asshole!" shouted Roderick, gripping the baseball bat firmly, than swinging it to hit Zay in the ribs.
"Aughhh!" moaned Zay. She was thrown to the right, but didn't fall as the chain kept her on her knees with her hands up, tied firmly to the dangling chain.
"Ohh, didn't feel it yet? Feel this next, ha ha!" Roderick laughed widely as he swung the baseball bat to the right and left side alternately hitting Zay's unprotected body.
"Ohh, that's not how much it hurts, huh? Feel this next, ha ha!" Roderick laughed widely as he swung the baseball bat to the right and left sides alternately hitting Zay's unprotected body.
"Arghh, fucking asshole!" Zay shouted.
"Ha ha, good! Keep howling, I'm really enjoying this show!" Roderick's laughter boomed out with that wide-open mouth continuing to laugh endlessly feeling satisfied after letting it all out on Zay.
Zay squinted, all her energy sucked in to withstand the pain of Roderick's punches. However, she failed. The baseball bat hurt like hell.
"Hey, you perverted bastard! Kill me now! I'd rather die than watch the man who raped me ten years ago laughing happily!"
Zay shouted loudly with a sharp look in her eyes to express the pain she felt. She didn't realize that she was also expressing the pain of her heart.
Roderick's laughter instantly stopped after hearing Zay's words that pierced his eardrums to the nerve center. He tried to clarify what Zay said, "W-what did you say?"
All the bodyguards there were dumbfounded, they didn't know what happened that Roderick dared to rape a man, they thought.
"I am Mazaya Lavina Palavi, your high school friend at Julius Santos. The popular girl with her swagger!"
"S-she's a girl?" muttered the shaggy-haired bodyguard who had already felt the pain of Zay's leg kick, not wanting to believe that stupid fact.
Roderick shut his mouth tightly, he was frozen with the memories of those 10 years. Memories that could not be stopped, but were now spinning fast in his mind. Roderick dropped the baseball bat, all his strength gone along with his muscle power. He walked over, scanning Zay's face closely and ended up staring into the familiar blue eyes, "Mazaya?"
"Is that you?" whispered Roderick with glazed eyes, he reached out to caress Zay's face.
"Don't touch me, asshole!" shouted Zay with bulging eyes. She spat in Roderick's face, then shouted in tears, shaking her head wishing the memories away from her mind, "Argghh, go away!"
Elsewhere, a shouting voice sounded so frustrated. The shouting voice was raised by Vern who had difficulty finding Mazaya in his own neighborhood, "Argghh, why is this car line cut off? It's giving me a headache!"
Vern did not stop contacting Roderick, even though he knew the result was the same. He swore incoherently in front of the barn where the horse feed was stored, then he sighed.
"I'm forced to do the second option, which is to meet with Uncle Jack," muttered Vern, he immediately left the place towards the electric motorcycle parked near the fence of the riding arena. On the way, he muttered irritably, "Why did grandpa build such a big house? What a hassle!"
Yes, the Vlodostok family home is indeed very large, about 2 hectares. This magnificent and luxurious house has many facilities such as a golf course, horse riding field, electric motors available in several corners and much more. Unfortunately, this luxury is actually used as a weapon to kill each other's family members, which is tragic.
"Very tragic. I didn't expect that the once docile Vern would now show a rebellious attitude like his father."
Jack complained while taking a sip of Wisky, the memory was still fresh about the incident of Vern wanting to stab him. He shook the ice cubes in the glass, his left hand holding his head which felt heavy, even though he wasn't drunk.
"He must not have accepted being stripped of his position. I guess it's natural for a young man like him to have rebel blood, especially since his late father was also an obnoxious rebel," said Ron who was sitting casually on the long sofa, while his arms were stretched across the back of the sofa.
Ron picked up his whiskey glass, he took a whiff of the liquor to savor its appetizing fragrance, then took a slow sip.
"Either way, that stupid boy has to step down. It's a good thing we killed Pharos Vandyke, otherwise he would have given us a hard time. Ha ha,"
"Cheers!" Jack raised his glass with a satisfied laugh, as if that remark was an antidote to the pain of Vern's behavior.
Ron joined in the laughter and raised his whiskey with a hypocritical look, pretending to be happy when inwardly he was cursing.
Be careful if you don't give me half of Glory's shares, I'll spread your rottenness, asshole! Ron said silently.
After they both took a sip of whiskey, it wasn't long before the door opened and revealed Vern's creepy face. Ron and Jack looked at each other, then Ron stood up frantically to greet his nephew, "Wh-why are you here? Do you want to drink with us?"
