You wrecked my life

What if the kids had actually believed her about their father's rumored so-called death and found out in the future that their mother lied and their father never catered? They definitely would have hated their mother just as it is now with their father.

The kids never had any fatherly love or affection within them. They've lost it and the only person they regard to be their father was their Uncle. Even while they've grownup and become matured adults, they still find Collins as a caring father instead of uncle.

Because, he sponsored their education, clothing, shelter, and everything he did for his own son, he did for them too. At a time when the kids became teen-adults, Petra decided to move out and to a private place.

Her ex's brother had done more than enough for her so many years and it's time for her to began her own hustles. Though, Collins declined her so many times and begged her to stay but when Petra became too thick-skinned for him to plead with, he had no other option but to let her go after preparing a place for her and the kids to live.

Though, the kids felt a bad but not like when they were tender because they believe that there's chances of visitations anytime. Petra's son was grownup, so as her daughter. They'll always go out for evening part-time daily paying legal jobs after school. And when it's month endings, they'll break their little piggy banks and donate all the money to Petra.

Everytime they do that, she'll always refuses and cry like an orphan toddler. She had her past, so are her kids too.

Just then, the door opened and the said monster walked in slowly. He was too afraid to go close to her. But when he noticed she was tearing up, he rushed to her aid and knelt before her after seeing the photographs open wide on top of her laps.

"Y-You had been crying?" His voice was full of pity and it was genuine.

Petra wiped her eyes quickly and turned her face away. She didn't say anything to him and it didn't matter at all. Why should she keep up a conversation with this man? He is not worth it.

Seeing her swollen and red eyes, Grayson panicked held her face to wipe of her tears. But when she tried to rebuke him while struggling to get his hands off her face, he stated, "Please..."

Feeling all broken and damaged again, Petra broke into an unbearable cry. She helplessly smacked his chest so many times and he didn't stop her. "You hurt me, Grayson. You deeply hurt me and the love we had."

Of course Grayson nodded his head in agreement, "Yes I know and I'm sorry. No matter how long it's gonna take for you to forgive me, I'll keep on apologizing even if it'll take the rest of my lifetime. But at least forgive me and let's start allover."

She vigorously nodded her head, "It's difficult. Is not as easy as you imagine it to be, Grayson." Smacking his chest again, she cried, "You wrecked my life and that of our kids after the promises you made before the altar, how could you?" She collapsed on his chest and sobbed harder.

Painful tear drops fell out of Grayson's eyes like that of waterfalls from a rock. He allowed her to wail and hit him as she wanted without uttering a single word.

When he didn't say anything despite the several smacks she had given him, she stopped and wept bitterly on his chest.

He curved his arms around her. Patting her head, he closed his eyes and took a deep breath. "Am sorry, everything was all my fault." His voice was breaking and shaking.

"You damaged my heart, Grayson. You betrayed me. You tarnished our love and now you want to fix back a glass that has been broken? How possible is that?"

Without saying anything yet, Grayson pulled away and held her face in his palms. He wiped off the tears lingering on her long eyelashes and kissable cheeks before her mouth.

The sense of him doing that made her give in and wants him to continue caressing every bit of her. There were no moaning or humming but her heart which was locked up against him for years, suddenly open fully for his embrace.

"You see how hard it is for any man to deny such a beauty in front of him. You're the goddess of beauty and full definition of enchantment." When she lowered her head with a faint smile, he tilted her chin upwards and added, "I am a bastard, a retarded one as at that. A good for nothing cabbage according to our son. A renowned donkey and ungrateful coward."

When she chuckled timidly, he tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and gaze into her hazel eyes for quite some time. "I'm deeply sorry my love, please remarry me again. I want to find that happiness I have lost many years ago. That hope, feeling and sweetness you've showed me before we parted. Please make my life bright again. I don't want to die of loneliness, I fully need you this time for my heart and not for selfish interests."

Pausing for a while, he added, "Whenever you're beneath me and I on top of you, I could feel that sensational bond bringing us together and how you moan out my name like you're held up in big troubles."

Timidly covering her face with her palms, Petra blushed, "What is that? Stop it."

Taking her hands off her gaze, Grayson asked, "How? When it's difficult for me trying to holdback? I still want every bit of you, your soul, body, mind, trust and heart. We're never too old to reunite as husband and wife, my love."

"But-"

Cutting her off, he took her left hand in his when he noticed she had been covering it for long. When he wanted to part it, she tightened her grasp and he looked at her and said, "It's alright if you don't want me to see it."

"No!" She vigorously nodded. When he raised his brows, she opened her palm and showed him the ring.

Intently gazing at the shining round thing which had a little diamond at the inner top, Grayson took it and asked, "T-This, it looks very familiar like the same ring I bought and put on your finger right on our wedding day."
