Petra smiled and squeezed her cheeks, "I wasn't speaking in parables, sweetie." Guiding her to sit on the sofa, Petra sat beside her, "First I know you must be worried about your husband–"
Cutting her off, Jin-joo scrunched her brows, "Husband? Aunt if I could probably remember, it's a fiancé."
Petra vigorously nodded in disagreement, "Uh uh, you're legally married to Sebastian now. You two are no longer engagers, hmm?"
Widening her eyes in shock, "What?!" She gaze at the Morganite ring on her finger and stammered, "A-Aunt, t-this ring indicates my wedding ring?"
"Yes my dear."
"Oh my God, when did it happened? I mean, I was with him last night and he–"
Cutting her off, Petra patted her shoulder, "Shh, breathe, come on now and take a deep breath. Sebastian told me everything this morning."
Clearing her throat, she explained, "On his way out, I met him and there was a ring same as this on his finger too. So I inquest and he told me that you two got married last night through a legally approved marriage license."
"Sarcastic." Jin-joo mocked. "He did everything on purpose, didn't he?"
"What do you mean?"
Showing the ring finger to her, "This! He was fully aware that I was asleep and he took advantage of the situation by making me sign up some papers I never knew about."
"Jin, it's–"
Cutting her off, she stood up rooted, "Aunt, think about it. What if it was to be some kinda willing documents? Like–"
"No no no, please don't say that." Petra stood up when she understood her actual point. "Sebastian is not that type of guy who will want to make his woman transfer everything in her name to his, no."
"But–"
"Jin, you've lived your life with Sebastian for months now and you're carrying his bloods." Stroking jin-joo's big belly, Petra smiled, "These unborn babies are his DNA. You're seven months pregnant now, you know what I mean. Thinking about lewd issues might worsen your moodiness."
Curling her brows downwards, she sighed, "Aunt, am not talking about my moods. All I want to know is why did he chose to do it this time when there's still a lot to finish."
Keeping quiet for some time, Petra took a deep breath and shook her head, "Do you think, with all the crises going on right now, you and Seb won't further?"
"Hell no!" Crossing her arms, she looked away, "You all should know that no matter what will or might happen, Seb and I won't part ways."
A sweet smile widened Petra's lips and she pull Jin-joo into her embrace. Patting her back, "You just made my day, Jin. The joy am having right now, is too much for the butterflies to handle."
"Oh aunt," She tittered. Pulling away, she wiped Petra's tears, "Please save those tears of joy untill my babies are born."
Placing her hand on her chest, Petra laughed, "You always make me laugh. Ever since you became part of my son's life, good things started happening. Not out in his life, but also in the lives of those around him." Caressing her face, "You're such a big blessing to mankind."
"You've been through alot lately aunt." She sighed. "Especially with the case of my mother's moribund filed against your family. What a stress."
Pressing a finger on her lips, "Shh, don't say that again, okay? Or else Sebastian will disowned me for letting you stress yourself to have such conversation with me."
Scrunching her brows, she inquest, "But why?"
"I don't know," She nodded.
Pausing for a while, Jin-joo inquire, "Have Mrs Maggie made your breakfast?"
"Ah, I asked her to join the maids on some other chores while I reheated one of the meal you stock up in the refrigerator." She winked and Jin-joo chuckled.
"Aunt, you're so funny." She placed her hands on her hips, "How did you and Seb coped when I was gone all that month?"
"Well..." She shrugged, "Your newly wedded husband refuse to eat my meal. All he does each day was to order pepperoni pizzas, make some soupy noodles for himself and so on."
"Why didn't you tell me about this?"
"Huh? How possible should I expect you?" Petra shook her head, "You were locked up like a prison in your dad's custody."
Remembering the time past when her dad almost took her to abort the pregnancies, Jin-joo groaned and helplessly nodded. She really don't want to talk about it.
"Jin?"
Waking up from her daze, "Yes Aunt?"
Kissing the top of her head, Petra smiled, "You're now my daughter in-law and a new wife in this family. I can remember the times my son was a workaholic ingrate but you changed his story and gave him an awaiting result."
When she pointed her chin towards the big belly, Jin-joo stroked it with a smile. If only she could have them in her arms today.
"Where is my husband?" She finally grin in acknowledgement. Causing a priceless smile to appear on her mother In-law's face.
"He went to the office. I will call him right away." She picked up her phone and started dialing some numbers.
