"A broken glass can never be joined together Grayson." Wiping her eyes, she sniffed her nose and stood up, "I'm discarding you like broken glass. Lorena is your wife and you two had a son. Take good care of your family and please don't you ever come looking for me because you and I are no more in good terms."

Without waiting for his response, she grabbed her bag and walked out of the mansion.

Running after her, he called her name out, "Petra, Petrarchan please listen to me for a minute."

Meanwhile, Lorena was busy fuming in anger with her hands clenched into a fist, "Petra, you ain't gonna get away scot free after what happened today. I'll make sure you pay darely for the slaps Grayson gave to me. I swear."

Sebastian's place

Dashing into the mansion with soaked red eyes, Petra sat on the couch and burst into tears.

Placing his laptop on the table, Sebastian quickly rushed towards her. Sitting beside her, he turned her face towards him and frowned, "Mom, what is it? Why are you shedding tears? Did someone die?"

Unable to say a single word, Petra sobbed even more.

Taking the white napkin, he carefully wiped her tears, "Mom please talk to me, what is happening? Why are you crying?"

Trying to catch her breath and say something at the same time, she cried, "He-He wa-was never a good man."

"Okay, so who the hell are you talking about?"

"Sebastian, he is bad, he hates me. He loves someone else."

Assuming it to be her little boyfriend, Sebastian helplessly shook his head and placed her head on his chest. Patting her head, "Its okay mom, he never loved you from the start."

"Exactly Seb, I gave him my all but what did he repay me with? Nothing but hatred. He despise me." She wept.

"That's how some men here, they just use women and dump them without knowing the value."

Pulling away, she wiped her face, "Promise me Seb, when you get married in the future, you'll never break the woman's heart or kill her joy."

Placing one hand on his chest, he swore, "I swear on this day mom, I will never do such a thing, let alone thinking of such." Scrunching his brows when he saw a swollen red mark on her right cheek, "Mom, did he also laid his hands on you?"

Keeping quiet for a while, she burst into tears.

Having sympathy for her, he buried his face in his palm and sighed. How he wished he had asked his mom his whereabouts. He would have sentence that young boy to an early grave by now. Like seriously, who was the bastard that dares to lay a finger on his precious stone.

"Mom, he did this to you right?" Taking out his phone, he started dialing some numbers, "I'm going to lock him up behind bars for the rest of his life.

Snatching the phone from him, she shook her head, "No my son, there's no need for doing that. I've broken all tiles with him and we have nothing in common anymore."

"For goodness sake mom why did you spend the night with someone I barely know? I don't even have that man's address let alone his whereabouts. I don't even know this guy or where he lives. He hit you and went away scot free." He snapped.

Petra's cried harder. How would she explain to him that it was actually his father and not some kind of random man. If she decides to spill it out, Sebastian won't think twice before murdering his father. After all he isn't in good terms with him, he hates Grayson so much.

Placing her head on his shoulder, she sobbed.

Frowning deeper, he took a deep breath. Patting her head, "Its okay, everything will be fine. Just forget about him, he is a lunatic and imbecile, okay? Brush his thoughts out of your head, after all he never loved you from the start."

Nodding her head in agreement, she wiped her face, "You're right Seb, he never loved me. He detested me."

"Take a deep breath, I'll get you an iceberg to soothe the sore areas."
