Slightly scrunching his brows, Sebastian inquired, "Meeting in the mansion? Like seriously does she usually have meetings every single damn of the day?"

"Well uhh–Often?"

"I wanted to see her yesterday but the same was said." Helplessly shaking his head, he sighed before looking at the gifts in his hands, "I need to see her before things turns out roughly."

Getting curious of his statements, manila inquired, "You got her these for a date or something casual?" When Sebastian gave her a quizzical look, she pursed her lips and lowered her head, "My apologies sir."

Taking a deep breath, Sebastian patiently relaxed on the couch while waiting for her. Manila is zero absent of who he is and why he came to see her boss. She thinks he might be one of her boss's boyfriends.

Yeah, lots of rich men and guys had come to the mansion countless times with roses, gifts and lilies, all in the name to grab jin-joo's attention for a relationship. But their plans always get tarnish after Jin-joo grabs the flowers and hit them with it.

Manila has been working for Jin-joo for more than seven years now and she could tell how her boss maltreat her drooling suitors whenever they try to shoot their shots.

An hour interval,

"Manila, boss instructed you to prepare her favorite meal Asian chicken and egg paratha rollins." Elena informed while walking down the stairs alongside with some other officials.

She nodded and quickly made her way towards the kitchen.

Raising an eyebrow with his arms and legs crossed, Sebastian intently stare at the officials who were coming down the stairs.

They were all putting on midnight blue tuxedo with white Airpods locked in their ears and couple of files in their arms.

For some odd reason, Sebastian wonders why Jin-joo had more males than females employees. Its quite shocking to him, it seems like he's getting little curious over something not reasonable.

Looking at the handsome man seated beside the lovely gifts, Elena beamed, "Ah, we meet again sir." Extending her hand for an handshake, she smiled, "I'm so happy you're here sir."

"Same too." He smiled before retrieving his hand.

"You want to see boss, right?" When he nodded, she chuckled, "I'll just direct you to her current room. She just left the study room to the upper living room. Its located at the west. And please ensure you use the elevator to the second floor. That's the location."

"Thanks," Getting up, he packed up the gifts, "I'll go to see her right away–and one more thing, thanks for yesterday."

"The pleasure is mine sir." She smiled and left.

After taking several deep breaths, Sebastian encouraged himself, "Okay Seb, you can do this."

Second floor

"For the love of God, dad I'm fine, everything is fine, okay? I thought we've talked yesterday." Jin-joo sighed before slumping on the couch.

"Of course sweetheart but it wasn't more than five minutes chat." Lee chuckled.

"Hmm, I know." Taking a sip from her glass of star fruit juice, she quietly paced around, "So how is Kang?"

"Ah, your little brother is fine. He'll be taking his academy vacation tomorrow and I'll be flying him over to you in L.A."

Groaning in frustration, "Oh man, does he have to come? Grandma is coming soon and now him too?"

Scrunching his brows, lee snapped, "Do you have a problem with your little brother visiting?"

"Literally I don't, but the thing is, how he's gonna cope alone when I'm off to work." Taking two sips, she groaned, "You need to see how busy I am lately."

"Hmm, I do know. It doesn't matter, manila is there 24/7, she can at least keep him company until you arrive from work."
