Empress Jee

Pinching the bridge of his nose, Dong-Hyun inquired, "How is Hong Kong?"

"Fine," She sighed and sat next to him, "I found your old bestie." When he gave her an absent minded expression, she scrunched her brows, "What's wrong? Did I say something I shouldn't have said?"

Slightly nodding his head, he massaged his head. Lifting his head, he took a deep breath and stood up before making his way towards the bar without saying anything.

"Dad, is he okay?" She frowned.

Lee shrug his shoulders and adjusted his glasses, "I don't know."

"Empress Jin, do you have any idea if big bro and Chung Cha are still together?"

"Kang-dae I don't know, but I met her at one of the supermarkets in Victoria." Relaxing her chin on her elbow, she frowned, "We talked fine, in fact she told me how she misplaced the contact to reach Dong-Hyun."

"I noticed Dong-Hyun awkward behavior when I asked him about Chung Cha." Chung Cha is Dong-Hyun's highschool and college bestie. The two friends had a very bubbly childhood together. After these two buddies graduated from college, they missed the route to reach each other, which made Dong-Hyun lost all hope of seeing his bestie again.

After some time, Dong-Hyun walked into the living room with a glass of wine in his hand, "How did you find her?"

Jin-joo stood up with a smiling face when she noticed his interest in the sudden question, "At one of the supermarkets in Victoria, Hong Kong. She was looking so beautiful," Drooling over her brother's bestie, she praised, "Dong-Hyun you need to see how sexy she have become. She–"

"Did she ask about me?" He curiously inquired before taking a sip.

"Of course she did," Jin-joo beamed.

"Then why don't you prove it to me."

Scrunching her brows confusedly, Jin-joo spared a glare at Lee and Kang-dae whom only gave her a nod. Tilting her head back to Dong-Hyun, "Dong, I don't understand what you meant by prove."

Raising his eyebrows, "Didn't you said you saw her at a supermarket? So there should probably be an evident to show." Placing the glass on the table, he crossed his arms, "Didn't she ask about my absence or contact?"

"Yeah she did," Taking her phone out of her pocket, "She saved her contact in my phone, and we took a selfie together."

Snatching the phone from her, he frowned and started scrolling it. He intently narrowed his eyes when he saw a beautiful picture of two lovely girls.

Curiously, he zoomed the image closer and darted his eyes allover the beautiful image standing beside his sister. Caressing the screen with his thumb, he gulped down.

'Oh my dear Chung Cha, if only I could tell you how much I miss you." Dong-Hyun thought. Chung Cha has been Dong-Hyun one and only friend but now he could only see her picture and not the physical appearance of her. How hurting is that. Why did she left him for so long?

Lee whom was taking note of his deep gaze and daze, cleared his throat to distract him. "Is everything alright, son?"

He reluctantly shook his head, "Y-Yes dad, am–am fine." How could he be fine when the only source to his happy swings abandoned him for four years now. 'Chung Cha, you owe me an explanation' He thought and gritted his teeth before handing the phone back to Jin-joo. "Hope she's fine."

"Of course she is fine, and one more thing, she'll be coming to Seoul this weekend. According to her, its four years now since she graduated from college and still in search of job. So I asked her to join you at your hospital." She beamed.

When Dong-Hyun sneered with an absent minded expression, Lee took advantage of the ignored feedback, "Ahh, exceptional, I can't wait to meet the woman who made my son the strong man he have become."

"Dad, what are you insinuating? Chung Cha is just a mutual friend of mine and not my mistress or some kinda girlfriend." He frowned.

"But you two had your baths together when you were just fifteen, or have you forgotten?"

Widening his eyes in shock, Dong-Hyun snapped, "Oh my, geez dad, how did you know about that?"

"I overheard you demanding for something like that few years ago over the phone." He grinned.

Closing his eyes, he balled his hands into a fist and took a deep breath. 'Arrghh, this middle aged man won't stay out of my privacy. Damn I can't believe he eavesdropped on my conversations with Chung Cha back then in highschool. Like seriously what type of dad is he anyway'?

"I am the bestest dad in the world." He smiled as if he read his thoughts.

Dong-Hyun startled and ran his hands through his face. When Jin-joo and Kang-dae gave him a sly look, he frowned, "Okay fine, now tell me what's with those expressions?"

"The expression is equal to the volume of your deed." Kang-dae scoffed.

"Have you gone mad or did you hit your head somewhere? In fact, what do you know? A thirteen year old boy not even up to eighteen yet and he wants to be curious about everything." He snapped.

"Are you saving your ass Mr Kim?" Crossing his arms, Lee scoffed, "You weren't up to eighteen either when you took your bath with a teenage girl. So what's the difference?"

Rolling his eyes, Dong-Hyun tried to cover up, "We only had our bath together but we didn't had sex, okay?"

Placing a finger at the side of her mouth, Jin-joo sneakily tilt her eyes upwards, "Only if dad didn't refuse to place CCTV cameras in the bathrooms."

"Jin, language, watch it."

"Come on Dong, what did I say wrong? Am just trying to state legit facts." Shrugging her shoulders, "You know, maybe for future references."

"So–that means, Chung Cha is not a virgin." When Dong-Hyun gave him a deadly glare, he gulped in nervousness, "Hehehe, I was just trying to make some little interpretations. You know, after seeing each other's–"

"Kang-dae!" Lee, Jin-joo and Dong-Hyun shouted in unison.

Slowly lifting his hands up, he grinned, "Sorry,"

Helplessly shaking his head, Dong-Hyun sighed and made his way towards his room upstairs.

Sitting beside Jin-joo, he grinned from ear to ear, "So what did you cook, sis?"

Knocking his head, "You love food more than your studies." She snapped and walked towards the kitchen.
