CHAPTER 3: Lucio and my OP Cat Advantages

This town is beautiful! Not so organized and developed like the towns back on earth but I can tell that it's beautiful and the people here have taste. Not only I see these beautiful, intricate structures and designs on the buildings, but I also see stylish way of writing on the signages.
We walked through the gate, but before that, we had to pay for our entry. One silver coin for adults and Five copper coins for children and the elderly. By observing Priscilla and the other people who were paying, I calculated the rate of currency here. Ten copper coins=1 silver coin, 100 silver coin=1 gold coin, 1000 gold coins=1 royal gold coin. My servant paid one silver coin. Why? Because I'm a cat and I don't need to pay.
While I was busy roaming my eyes around the town, a man approached Priscilla and kissed the back of her right hand. Wait a minute, what's going on here? Why is a teen Tom Felton-looking man kissed my pure, innocent, loving witch suddenly? I approached her in haste.
'If only I could have stopped those impure lips of this dude from landing to your skin, I would have saved you!'
So careless of me, letting my attention get adverted and leaving you here alone, surrounded by filthy predators. You fell prey, you poor little rabbit. Sob.
"Such a cute pet you have here," the beast complimented me. Did you really think I would fall for your trap? You wish!
I hissed when his hand was about to touch my delicate fur.
Hah! My hiss is [Terror LV3].
He got surprised but immediately got back to his senses and laughed. This beast! He still has the nerve to laugh! Wait till I scratch that face of yours!
"My, my, Andromeda, you shouldn't be like that. He's Lucio, a friend of mine," the idiot witch scolded me after I just tried to protect her. Friend? You called the man who kissed you friend?
It's not new to me since in my last world, even if you already got far more than a kiss, you could still be friends, or even strangers. That was how the society worked back in my days.
Why am I getting possessive of her anyway? It must be the cat gene acting up, right? After all, cats are known to be territorial.
We walked around town with the filth named Lucio accompanying us. My eyes kept on wandering, astonished by the sight of these new things around me.
We arrived in front of a shop. The sign has this bottle shape, so I guess the text read as potion. Me and my genius.
My master-servant and Lucio talked to the middle-aged woman who I guess is the owner of this establishment. They traded and talked a bit while I examined all those bottles displayed on the shelves. I still can't read the letters, but I let my imagination wander. For example, a blue potion must be for healing and red must be for energy. I might be wrong but who would know?
When they finished, my servant bade good-bye and told me we were leaving. Of course, that Lucio is still with us.
We walked again and arrived at the marketplace. We bought foods and other things needed for our house. I forced my servant to buy more fish and meat so that she can feed me more.
The place is messy with a lot of people and things scattered around, but order is maintained with all the security personnel and guards around.
Then when it's time to leave, Lucio only stayed by the gate and watched us make our way back home. Although I could see affection and eager to hold Priscilla in Lucio's eyes, he restrained himself to be satisfied with only seeing her and kissing her hand. What a great man he is. Or not. How old is Priscilla anyway? She looks underage while Lucio looks like a grown man. This is illegal!
Again, I could be wrong but who would know?
We entered the forest again, heading towards our home. On our way, I sensed danger again, this time, it's coming from many creatures. Seems like Priscilla also sensed the danger, so she stopped her tracks. A moment later, from the bushes, a group of seven mice came out.
Fear not, my dear witch, I am a cat and I will defeat them for you.
The mice began to display their [Monster eyes of Petrification] but as a cat, their natural predator, their skill didn't affect me, though my skill [Petrification Resistance LV1] rose into five levels. Now it's [Petrification Resistance LV6]. When their Petrification failed, they tried the [Monster eyes of Paralysis] but it had the same result.
Now it's my time to attack!
[Terror LV3] Hiss! Alright! Jump to the closest one [Poison Bite]×3. Chomp. Chomp. To the other one! [Paralysis Bite] followed by [Fangs].
The other five started to attack me [Monster Eyes of Paralysis] [Monster Eyes of Petrification] when they stopped, I immediately bit them all. Victory is once again mine!
My servant clapped and approached me. I checked my status to see if there's any change.

And so, my status improved. My stamina decreased, though, because I moved a lot this time. Predation reached level 10 and upgraded to Consuming, same goes to the monster eyes, Poison and Paralysis bite, and Fangs. I also got the new skill [Food Chain] which allows me to get even the energy and skills of the ones I have eaten as long as they aren't secreted yet.
After my servant cleaned me, I fell asleep on her arms.
