Lin Feng drank a bottle of water and released a breath of relief.

''Aah… That was very dangerous!'' He said with a wry smile.

''Woof!'' Kro nodded his head.

[1x Cooking tools set]

''Do I use it or not?'' Lin Feng muttered while looking at the blue screen in front of his face.

''I can summons eight things, but...'' He mumbled, a little unsure of what to do.''Argh, Whatever!''

''Cooking tools set, let's hope that this set has a portable stove.'' Lin Feng commented before opening his inventory and took out a black box.

'So Light?' He thought as the black box easily got pulled by his hand.

Placing the black box on the ground, Kro then approached him as he curiously stared at the black box.

''Woof?'' Kro growled as he pointed his paw at the black box.

''This box is for cooking.'' Lin Feng replied before opening the box and revealing many kinds of cooking tools like a knife and cutting board.

''Ah, There's also a portable stove in this box!'' He added with a little surprise.

*Grumble!*

Kro's stomach grumbled and he urged Lin Feng to be fast.

''Yeah, yeah, just wait!'' Lin Feng said while examining the content of the box.

'Oh, it turns out there are simple seasonings in here!' He thought while looking at the small bottle of black pepper and salt.

''I can still cook, right?'' Lin Feng asked himself with a wry smile, because in his past life, he always cooked for himself because buying food was expensive.

Even though he was a C-rank hunter with a decent income that's enough for an ordinary person, Lin Feng uses a large margin of his money to maintain his armor and weapons.

Well, his armor and weapons are more important because he can make money using them.

''Let's first check the meat.'' Lin Feng said before examining the meat.

Lin Feng searched through his inventory and his eyes stopped at a few items.

[6x Instant cup ramen noodles]

[16x one-horned cows body]

''Hehe, Instant ramen...'' Lin Feng chuckled with a drool on his mouth.

'Let's cook for Kro first.' Lin Feng thought with a helpless smile because the pitiful looks of Kro's eyes are making him a little weak.

Lin Feng then took out one of the bodies of one-horned cows.

''Heavy!'' He said as the cow body fell from his hand.

*bam!*

''Just how heavy is this cow?'' He complained as the cow was still retaining a little bit of its heat.

''Is this because of Inventory?'' He muttered.

''Woof!'' Kro's growled.

''Haah, you're helpless Kro!!'' Lin Feng responded with a sigh before taking the knife from the kitchen tool and used it to cut the cow.

After a few moments, we can see that the cow was already in different kinds of meat pieces.

''Hmm, these meats had a nice texture...'' Lin Feng commented as the beautiful pattern consisting of white fat and red meat are intertwining with each other from the cow's meat.

'Maybe because they are spirit beasts?' He thought before shrugging his shoulder.

Lighting up the stove, he then took out the frying pan from his inventory and placed a piece of meat on it.

*sizzle!*

After the pan heated, he heard a small sizzle coming out from it.

Smoke started coming out from the pan as fragrant oil came out from the cow's meat..

''Nice!.'' Lin Feng commented before putting salt and pepper sufficiently on the meat.

'This should be enough.' He thought as he held meat that was still attached to the ribs.

''Woof!'' Kro's began sniffing out the aroma while wagging his tail.

*Sizzle!''

After waiting for a few minutes, Lin Feng placed the meat on a plate before giving it to Kro.

''Here!'' He said and put the plate in front of Kro, who was already intensely staring at the steak.

''Roooar!" Kro howled excitedly and began eating the meat.

''Haha, you really like it, huh.'' Lin Feng chuckled before boiling the water.

'Well, it seems my skill is still good.' He thought before taking a cup of instant ramen and prepared it.

Putting the seasoning and hot water, he then sat beside Kro while enjoying the meat he cooks and a cup of instant ramen.

''Delicious!'' He stated with a satisfied smile.

'This combination is a little weird, though.' He thought with a wry smile before taking a bite from the meat.

''Well, whatever!'' He said with a smile, ''As long I and Kro can eat.''

After a few minutes of delight, Lin Feng and Kro layed on the ground with a satisfied expression on their face.

''It was good!'' Lin Feng said.

''Woof!'' Kro nodded his head in agreement.

''Se~no!!'' Lin Feng groaned and lifted his body from the ground.

''Kro,'' He called while scratching the big doggo, ''Let's go, we need to find the nearest village.''

''Woof!" Kro lazily responded while still lying on the ground.

'I really need to train this big doggo.' He thought with a helpless smile.

''If you do what I tell you, I will give you another steak like that!'' Lin Feng drops the bait with a sly smile on his face.

''Woof!'' Kro instantly lifted his body and stood firmly in front of him.

''Okay, Lift me up!'' He instructed Kro to lift his body and place him on his back.

''Mini-map!'' Lin Feng said while observing the mini-map for a few seconds.

''Let's go to the east!" He instructed while pointing his finger toward the east.

''Woof!''

''W-Wha-!?'' Lin Feng once again almost fell from Kro, but he instantly grabbed Kro's fur and held firmly onto them.

'Phew~ Almost!' He thought with a wry smile.

His eyes keep looking to the mini-map until something catches his attention.

''Hmm? We're already out from star dou forest!'' He said and noticed the surroundings around them changed.

''Well, keep going!'' He instructed Kro and Kro suddenly increased his speed.

''Haaah...'' Lin Feng sighed in helplessness while tightening his grip on Kro's fur.

'At least, I don't have to walk.' He thought and consoled himself while thinking of the bright side of his summon.

''I have to increase my strength!'' Lin Feng muttered with determination.

''Kro, Stop!'' Lin Feng shouted because from the mini-map, he can see a landscape like a small village with many small blue dots.

"Ah, Kro don't know how to break slowly!" Lin Feng suddenly realizes something.

''Slowly! Slowly, Kro!'' He shouted.

''Woof!'' Kro responded with a growl as he slowly decreased his speed and stopped a few meters away from a tree.

''Phew!'' Lin Feng wiped the sweet on his forehead and saw a deep narrow line on the ground because of Kro's leg.

''Okay,'' He jumps out from Kro, ''You can enter summoning space now!''

''Woof?'' Kro tilted his big head.

''There is no way I'm walking toward a village with a spirit beast beside me!'' Lin Feng said.

''...Woof!'' Kro nodded his head as his body disappeared.

(Woof!) Kro's growl sounded in Lin Feng's head.

''So, if you're in the summoning space, I can still communicate with you huh...'' He muttered with a little surprise expression.

''It seems the walking will not become tiresome as a thought.'' He added with a smile on his face.

''To the village!'' Lin Feng said before walking toward the village.

After a few minutes of walking, Lin Feng walked out from the bushes.

''Weird… The village should be around fifty or sixty meters away, right?''' He muttered as he saw a blue dot in front of him.

''A child?!''

Lin Feng saw a child around the same age as him napping under the shade of a tree..

The child has short black hair with an average appearance and wearing shabby clothes. The child opened his eyes and Lin Feng saw blue iris and it flashed a purple light.

''Who's there!?'' The blue-haired child suddenly shouted before setting his sights toward Lin Feng's direction.

''Eh? Who are you?!''
