Rob and his cabinet decided to help the royal forces in the Westfire Empire. 

This matter was forced on them. 

Rebel forces in the Westfire Empire dared to attack their borders, so if they just let it happen, it would be a severe blow to the reputation of UISEC. 

Most countries have feared UISEC because of what they did to Fivestar country.

They are all watching how UISEC is reacting; if they shrug it off, they will be looked down upon. 

Reputation is very important.

Reputation is what people think of when they hear of someone or something.

For UISEC, people think wealthy, strong, ruthless.

For Rob, it's ruthless, powerful, wealthy and dictator.

But, reputation can change.

If the other countries start thinking of UISEC as a weak, pushover country, it would be awful.

It means less soft power; their worlds would be brushed aside, and nobody would take them seriously.

Therefore, when someone invaded the border, they were already dragged into the conflict, whether they wanted or not.

It is a mystery why rebel forces were so dumb to do something like this, leaving UISEC with no choice.

Rob sent 80,000 troops to the border but didn't attack. 

Wars in modern civilizations are different. 

In medieval times, there was no other way than to attack by land. 

In modern times, especially for superpowers like UISEC, there is no need to attack using troops. They can destroy the Westfire Empire with only missiles and rockets. 

The air force of UISEC was much more advanced than that of any other country in the world. 

They wouldn't attack the rebel forces directly, just supporting royal forces. 

Of course, they want to keep their reputation, so their support would not be a secret.

Everyone must know that they are the ones supporting royal forces.

That is the strategy, at least for now. 

There is a good reason for this decision. 

Attacking would unite the people of Westfire against UISEC. 

Helping Royal forces, on the other hand, would not be seen as an outsider trying to interfere; after all, royal forces were not outsiders. 

They were the original, legitimate rulers. Therefore, the people would favor UISEC's actions and even support them.

The other countries would also not look down on them because, with the support of UISEC, the rebel forces would be destroyed quickly.

The faster rebel forces get destroyed, the higher UISEC's reputation will go.

After all, with only some weapon support, they defeated rebel forces in another country, so if they had acted themselves, they could have done it much faster.

Perceptions are important. 

The reality doesn't matter as much as what people think of reality matters.

This is what many get wrong.

The truth is what people think is the truth.

As for actual truth, who cares?

The war continued.

With UISEC's support, royal forces, led by the crown prince, began taking the lead. 

There was no other force supporting the rebels; therefore, they began gradually losing land and, after two years, were utterly defeated. 

Their defeat resulted due to having no weapons and ammunition.

The leaders of rebel forces were let off the hook with the condition that they live in another country.

Because even though the rebel forces didn't have any ammunition, they could have inflicted lots of damage and killed many people; therefore, the emperor agreed to let the leaders run away.

It was not a satisfactory ending.

Therefore, Rob intervened.

He wanted attention, so, of course, he wouldn't lose this golden opportunity.

The rebel leaders were off the hook for what they did to the late emperor and the couple they committed.

But what about the border incursion on the UISEC?

Even though not a single citizen of UISEC died as a result of it, it was a fact that rebel forces veered into UISEC borders.

Borders of the country are essential; many countries consider them sacred.

The West Fire royal family has no authority to give any assurances about the border incursion of UISEC and, therefore, did not give any assurances regarding that.

Thus, UISEC quickly utilized all of its diplomatic channels and forced the country that rebel forces ran to deport them to UISEC.

Then, after a short trial, in a very publicized event, they executed all the rebel leaders and spread the news far and wide.

They clearly conveyed that if you invade us, even a slight breach of our borers, we will chase you no matter where you try to run to.

The defeat of rebels was quick.

Most of these types of civil wars would last far longer.

One reason was not having any outsiders supporting them; the other was that very few people in the country supported them. 

The people liked the royal family, so public opinion was against the rebellion. 

After the UISEC helped the royal, it became very popular with the regular people of the Westfire empire.

Before the rebellion, public opinion was on the side of joining the world alliance, but after the war, it became much more mainstream.

Rarely anyone dared to voice opposition to the World Union.

Now, opposition to the World Union was linked to rebellion., and support for it.

The crown prince sat on the throne and became the new emperor, and the Westfire Empire joined the world alliance. 

Other countries also gradually joined the world alliance after pressure from their population.

After all, any country that joined the world alliance became much richer only after a short time.

It was undeniable.

Ordinary people and wealthy people alike all wanted to join.

Only some dictators who feared losing power didn't join.

But, as UISEC has conditioned the body replacement surgery with them jolting world alliance, some old dictators decided to join only because of being able to get a new body.

Their own life, after all, is even more important than money or power.

When they are dead or have old bodies barely able to move, all power and money in the world is useless.

As for exporting technology to their country, that was impossible.

UISEC has been vigorously guarding its sensitive brain transplant and rejuvenation technology.

The medical science of UISEC has been stagnant for two decades.

There is no need for any doctor, an engineer, or any profession; all a human could do, a robot could do better.

In modern civilizations, however, only mechanical robots could come to be.

Intelligence robots are from advanced cultures.

Still, rich people can live for thousands of years with the current technology.

Rob was sitting in a room, reading documents on his computer. 

In the twenty years, technology remained the same, with most still using smartphones and laptops. 

After reading some news websites, he stopped and sighed. 

Today, Rob looks much younger than twenty years ago. 

That is because he had the surgery. 

Doctors designed a better body and transplanted his brain into it after rejuvenating it. 

Rose and Rob are allies; when Rose does transplant surgery, Rob takes care of things and keeps her position secure, and vice versa. Otherwise, Rob wouldn't have dared to let doctors take out his brain and keep it for a few months. 

Brain rejuvenation, especially, will take months; during those months, the brain must remain in the rejuvenation elixir. 

For a dictator like Rob, it's a huge risk. 

Fortunately, everything went well when he went through it ten years ago. 

It was a strange experience. 

It's said that most people don't remember anything when their brain is in the elixir, but Rob did remember. 

It was like a long dream about his childhood, a very vivid dream. 

Many memories he long forgot resurfaced. 

It was a magical experience, very comforting. 

After the procedure, his mind became much clearer, his thinking faster, and overall, it was like buying a new car.

The old car was old and slow, and the new car was swift.

It went well. All counties were members of the World Alliance, and Rob was the chief commissioner. 

Today, he is the most influential person in the world. 

Rose was still the prime minister. She won election after election, and even when she lost an election a few years ago, she managed to convince enough unaffiliated to keep her government. 

Today, UISEC is a wealthy country. 

They have a high standard of living and are the best in every metric.

Alex III was in a dark room. 

Even after 20 years, his ability to move in the sunlight didn't change. 

Today, there are around 100 vampires in the Alex kingdom, all created by Alex I II.

But still, a formation operated by a rank 12 formation core would be quasi-rank 12, much stronger than rank 11 formations.
