Chapter 1: The [God System]

[GOD SYSTEM ACTIVATED]

When I opened my eyes to see nothing but white. No matter where I looked I only saw nothing but white. I tried to stand up and walk around to see where I was, but when I did I was surprised to find out that my body felt light.

It felt so easy to move around and it just felt natural.

I kept on looking around to see what I could find, but as expected all I could see was nothing but white all around. When I tried to walk straight, it felt like I wasn't moving at all.

This kept on going on for a couple of minutes until I remembered what happened. I remembered when I was walking along the sidewalk together with Natasha and Starr. When I shielded them from the bullets that were shot by that bastard. The cold feeling running through my body as I laid in a pool of my own blood.

The sirens that came after I fell down, the gunshots that came after that, and the sound of two things that came falling down.

"NATASHAAAAA, STAAAAAAAAAAAAARRR" (Alex)

I screamed their names as loud as I could while tears keep flowing out like a raging river. I cried and cried while screaming their names in grief, despair, and sadness. Yes, that's all that I felt. Nothing but despair and sadness.

I don't know where I am or how I got here, but I knew that I would never be able to see them again.

They were forever gone and I would never be able to be with them again. The pain that I felt from realizing this was agonizing. This was worst then getting shot, stabbed, or burned alive. I couldn't help them and I caused grief for them when they saw me in a pool of my own blood and I wasn't able to protect them from that bastard. And they paid for my mistake.

I don't know how long it took for me to calm down, but I eventually did.

I just sat there staring into the white void with empty eyes. Eyes without emotion or the will to live.

I just sat there until I remembered the sound that came in my head before everything turned black.

"I think it said 'God System Activated'?" (Alex)

[YES, HOST?]

"?!" (Alex)

I was startled when I heard that same sound in my head. The voice sounded plain and devoid of any emotion. Almost like a machine.

"Who are you?" (Alex)

I tried getting some information from this thing.

[THE GOD SYSTEM, HOST]

Well, that was obvious. Wait why is it calling me host? Did I by chance get a system like those novels after I died? Well not that it matters. Without Natasha or Starr there is no point in me living.

"Hey, can you stop calling me host?" (Alex)

[THEN WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE ME TO CALL YOU HOST?]

"Just Alex is fine, and can you stop screaming in my head?, it's going to give a headache" (Alex)

[Sure thing Alex]

"Thank you, that's much better" (Alex)

After that, I just sat there in silence for a couple of minutes. I eventually got bored with just doing that so I decided to get a little bit more information.

"So, system, what are your functions?" (Alex)

[The system's functions are as follows:

-Status: Lets you access your current information such as stats, skills, and some other things.

-Inventory: Lets you store non-living items within your personal space(infinite storage).

-Shop: Lets you buy things that you will need to grow stronger, among some other things.

-Planet: Lets you create your own planets however you want and see their current status.

-Race: Lets you create your own race however you want and see their current status.

-Quest: Gives you quests according to what may be happening in your worlds or races and gives your rewards for completion.]

When I looked at this I was surprised. I basically became a God.

A MOTHER FUCKING GOD!

While I was surprised a lot, I eventually calmed down. There's no point in me being a God if I can't be with the ones I love. Just remembering their smiling faces breaks my heart. While I was close to falling into despair once again the system saved me.

[Alex, there is a starter pack in your Inventory]

"Good, how do I access it?" (Alex)

[Just say inventory in your mind or out loud]

When I said that in my mind, a blue transparent box appeared in front of me.

[Inventory:

-Beginner Starter Pack

-Adult Female Soul

-Child Female Soul]

When I looked at the box, I was startled by what was inside. I only expected to find the Beginner Starter Pack, but I didn't expect to find two souls there as well.

"System why are there two souls in my inventory?" (Alex)

[That's because when the system was bringing your soul into this space, I found two other souls that were right beside your soul and felt that Alex had deep affection to them and that they also had affection towards you, Alex]

When I heard that I was surprised. The first thing that came into my mind when I heard that was both Natasha and Starr. I was both happy and afraid. I was happy that this might be them and that there might be a chance to bring them back to life, but also scared that it wasn't them.

"System, are you able to show me their information?" (Alex)

I asked with some hope and fear.

[Yes, Alex]

"Can you please show me their information?" (Alex)

The soul of an adult female that has deep affection of love for Alex.

[Child Female Soul:

The soul of a female child that has a deep familial affection for Alex.

Past life name: Starr]

"?!" (Alex)

At that very moment, tears kept coming out once again like a raging river.
