Yibai returned to the bottom of the Shuanglong River upstream.

He asked the Old Tortoise about the matters that transpired after his departure.

Old Tortoise, however, replied with ignorance.

This made Yibai inevitably puzzled.

"As for the dragon species, matters beyond the river, it was all handled by that Buddhist Sect's high monk. I am only responsible for the waterways above the river,"

Old Tortoise said so.

"In that case, I should thank Master Daochan. Prophet, do you know where the Mage is now?"

Yibai intended to express his gratitude personally.

"That Buddhist Sect's high monk told me you, the dragon species, would be returning and then left. By now, he's likely left the boundaries of Shuanglong River."

Old Tortoise interjects.

"He left?"

Yibai was astonished.

"Perhaps that Buddhist Sect's high monk had already anticipated your thoughts."

Old Tortoise speculated.
