(Ryomen's POV)

Ryomen huh? I wonder why that name sounds familiar. 

"Oh well." I said out loud, "I guess it's good." 

"Well, unless you remember your own, I'll call you that." Goblin Slayer said

I looked at him, "You were alone hunting goblins?" I asked

"No, my party was with me until an emergency happened." He said, "They had to take our Priestess back to the guild." 

I nodded, "I see." I said, "Well....that's something...." 

"You have nowhere to go, huh?" Goblin Slayer said, "You can come back with me to the farm until you get yourself situated." 

I raised an eyebrow, "You sure about that?" I asked, "I'm a stranger to you, how do you know I'm not trouble." 

"If you happen to be trouble, I'll handle you." He said with a confidence that even I was taken aback by, "You don't seem like a bad person. As long as you're not a goblin, it matters not to me." 

I nodded, "Fuck those things." I said feeling unusually angry when he mentioned them, "I can feel it....your hatred for them...." 

Why am I saying that? Why would I know that? Something felt off about me. His thoughts about those green little critters were visible around him, it seems. I could feel it, his anger for them....

I looked at him, I saw a faint red aura emanating from him. I am not sure if it's him or me.....maybe it's my ability. 

Wait....why do I know stuff? Does this have to do with my newfound abilities...The screen.....or System God....said I was to be a Demon God....is this the start of that? 

"Hm." Goblin Slayer said, "You hate Goblins as well?" 

I nodded, "They're nothing but a nuisance." I said, "They shouldn't exist. As long as I see one, I will not hesitate to kill them." 

"Interesting." He said, "Very well, let us go." 

"It'll be late."

"Hm..." I said as we walked, "Quite the walk, huh? I didn't think it'd be this far."

"It is." He said, "Worry not, this is a good exercise for you. Also, remind me to get you new clothes. Those are too worn out." 

"You're...." I started, "Quite kind." 

"Don't start with that." he responded, "Anyways, as soon as we get there, the owner of the farm will probably ask you to help out with chores. It's the only way you can stay there with no issues." 

I nodded, "Okay." I said, "Not a problem." 

"You can stay there for a few days if you wish." Goblin Slayer said, "I will head to the city and get the situation with my party settled. I'll pick you up after I'm done. I could use your abilities in one of my goblin slaying expeditions. There's a nest of Goblins that even I will have trouble with. Hobgoblins and Goblin Champions are prominent there." 

I stopped, "Whoa." I said, "The big ass ones? You fight even those?" 

He stopped and looked at me, "Of course I do." He said, "I can handle them one at a time, but multiple can prove too difficult for me. But your abilities might be a gift from the gods, as they say. With you, I can finally kill that Goblin Lord and wipe that nest out completely." 

I was a bit surprised at how easily he was trusting me. Maybe he saw me as a convenient tool for his use. Yea, that was probably it. It wasn't a bad thing, but it was the most logical explanation for his "kindness". 

And he was right to trust me, I wasn't going to cause trouble for him and the farmer friend of his. I may not have any memories of who I was before I died, but just cause I chose the Demon God path, it didn't mean I was going to go create chaos. 

Unless....

Nah.....that's not right. 

"Alright." I said, "Thanks for your hospitality." 

He nodded, "Good." He said, 

"I see we can have a profitable future ahead of us."
