"Come in" Dylan said when he heard a knock on the door, they were both seated on the couch inside Damien's room doing some office work.
"Sorry to disturb you gentlemen, I wanted to ask if I shall be making dinner for three?" Alfred asked, he didn't want to be the one to bring up the discussion so he tried to pick his words carefully.
Dylan looked at Damien, the man had his eyes fixed on paper work but Dylan was sure that Damien heard Alfred's question.
"Dinner for three" Dylan answered.
Alfred didn't move, he waited for a few seconds, he wanted to know if master Damien would say anything but Damien remained silent, Alfred gave a nod and then exited the room.
"Damien it's been hours since she left, I'm worried" Dylan said as he glanced at the Wall clock, the time was almost 5pm, Selena had been gone for six hours.
"I don't get why you are concerned about it" Damien said with his eyes still fixed on paper work, he had his pen in one hand as he signed in some pages.
"You should be too, you know her life is in danger and you are letting her go out without security. She's been gone for hours, aren't you the least bit worried?" Dylan asked but Damien didn't answer the question.
Dylan didn't know why he was still sitting here and trying to talk sense into Damien, he should go out to find her, he could but for some reason Dylan wanted Damien to be the hero.
"She'll be fine" Damien spoke again.
Dylan sighed as he looked at the time on the wall, he had a feeling that something bad would happen to her, perhaps he was just worrying too much but it was possible.
"Can you at least track the car and tell me where she's at so I can go get her" Dylan proposed. He couldn't let the girl stay out till dark, that would be a wrong move on their part.
Damien sighed, he didn't want to do this but he was getting tired of hearing Dylan's voice, he had a lot of work to do and Dylan would not let him unless he did what he wanted.
Damien picked his phone up from the table and then he searched for the tracking app, he only had five cars here and so it wasn't really difficult to find the missing one.
"She's at Velvet vibe" Damien said and then he paused as he tried to remember, the name sounded familiar.
"Velvet vibe.. but that's like down the street, it's a twenty minutes drive, I was expecting that she would have gone to another country by now" Dylan said jokingly, if she was at Velvet vibe then there was nothing to worry about.
Damien was in deep thought, why would she go to velvet Vibe, it didn't make sense, he could tell something was wrong. With no further words Damien got up from the couch, he placed his phone back in his pockets and strode out of the room.
"Hurry" Dylan said. He already knew that Damien was going to get the girl.
Alfred watched as Damien rushed down the stairs, he could tell something was up but he didn't ask.
"Dinner is not ready yet" Alfred spoke but Damien didn't listen, he seemed that the man had his senses focused on something else.
Damien grabbed one of the keys and then he walked out of the mansion.
Alfred sighed as he watched Damien walk out, he didn't know wether to be relieved that Damien finally found someone or he should worried because that certain someone was always getting into trouble. Seeing the way Damien rushed out he could tell that he was going after Selena, he didn't know what she got herself into this time but he knew that it wasn't good.
Alfred sighed as he head back inside the kitchen, he was too old for all of this but he had to keep his promise to the Mrs.
......
Dylan started the car and drove off, he had his eyes fixed on the road, his whole mood had changed. His grey eyes looked darker and his face had a cold look. The man seemed too calm, it was the calm before the storm, Damien drove like a madman and in less than ten minutes he had already broken three traffic rules. What was suppose to be a twenty minutes drive was only ten minutes for the man.
Damien arrived at the bar on time, he noticed his car packed at the side, no one was inside. Damien knew something was odd when he saw this address, he was no fool, he could tell that something had happened. Damien squatted next to the car and noticed that it was cold, it look like it had been turned off for hours. That had him bothered, Damien could feel his muscles tense, he was beginning to panic but he still tried his best to stay calm .
Damien walked inside the bar, the placed wasn't crowded, the Velvet Vibe was an old bar, he use to come here a lot with Dylan and William back then, they were small teenagers back then but because of their status in the city, they were allowed anywhere.
Damien looked around the place but he couldn't find her, he asked the bartender but the man wasn't able to help.
"I'm sorry but I've not seen anyone matching your description" The bartender spoke with a little shiver in his tone.
Damien could tell he was lying, it was quite evident in his tone, now Damien could tell that something happened to her in this bar and the bartender knew exactly what happened.
"Do you know who I am?" Damien asked the bartender and he saw the young fellow shake his head.
"It's good you don't know, tell me, who were they?" Damien asked but the bartender didn't say anything. Damien noticed that the bartender was making eye contact with someone else in the bar. Damien followed his line of sight and noticed another fellow just a few steps away from him.
Damien left the bartender and fixed his gazes on the other guy, Damien was silent, he didn't say a word. He looked like he had gotten information from the bartender and so he walked out of the bar.
Damien had not even walked to where his car was packed when he heard footsteps approaching, he had a pleased look on his face, this was exactly what he wanted.
"I see you got my invite" Damien joked with a grin on his lips. He saw the man rush towards him with a stick in his hand but Damien was quick to dodge it, Damien held the stick and tossed it on the side.
"Let's dance" Damien said with a grin as he began to throw punches at the man.
