"I love you" Selena uttered the words like she had been holding them back for a while now. "And I'm not saying this because I can't live without you" Selena added as she matched his gaze, tears roling down her cheek. "I can, but I don't want to".

CONFESSIONS

"Beep beep"

The countdown stopped and Selena sighed in relief, she looked at Damien and saw that he had cut the yellow wire. Selena hadn't realized that the entire time she had her hands wrapped around him. Selena burst out in tears as she placed her head on his chest, she cried her heart out while holding him.

Damien paused, he didn't know exactly why she was crying, she was safe now, the bomb was disarmed so why the hell was she crying.

"Enough with the water works Selena" Damien ordered, his tone was cold. The look of relief on his face was now gone.

Selena raised her face up to look at him, she could see that he wasn't joking and he sounded serious, Selena removed her hands from him and she slowly wiped her tears but they kept pouring.

"Why are you crying?" Damien asked. "You were the one who ran off this morning, you got upset because of what you saw on the TV. You got yourself kidnapped and now you are crying " Damien added, his voice was sounding cold.

"Why didn't you stop me uh? Don't you dare blame me for this, it's all your fault, you could have stopped me...you....did nothing....how could you...?" Selena said as her sobs increased, she hit his chest all the while lamenting. "you...you should have stopped me....I was waiting for you to stop me.... what's wrong with you?...you could have said something.....you just ....you just let me leave" Selena complained as more tears rolled down her cheeks, she was pouring everything out to him, all her frustrations.

Damien watched her, he couldn't stop her, he had a neutral look on his face as he took in all she was doing to him. He knew she was only pouring out her anger but something in him didn't like seeing her like this.

"I was trapped here for hours you know...it was dark and cold....I couldn't do anything....I was waiting for you.....I was waiting.....but ....but you didn't show up....and then....and then the bomb....and i was so scared thinking something was going to happen to me" Selena said as she continued to sob, her fists were getting tired of hitting his hard muscles but Selena was too angry to stop.

Damien watched, she was breaking, he could tell, it was like all the feelings she had buried deep inside of her, everything was coming out.

"And....I was worried....I....I... didn't want to die yet....I wanted to see you first.....I wanted to look at your eyes and I wanted to feel you...your touch....I wanted to feel everything" Selena said as she stopped hitting him and instead she placed her hands on his cheek as she looked deep into his eyes.

"I love you" Selena said the words like she had been holding them back for so long.

"And I'm not saying that I can't live without you....I....I can, but I don't want to" Selena said as more tears pooled in her eyes. She hugged him as more tears rolled down her cheeks.

.....

Earlier...

Selena sighed as she looked at the wires, she knew what to do, this was a small bomb, anyone could disarm it, it was easy but Selena was still battling to take the first step. She had to take in deep breaths to bring herself back to reality, fear gripped her as she held the bomb.

"Look at you" Diana's voice echoed from behind. "Pathetic" Diana added as she walked closer to Abigail.

"If you wanted to kill me so badly Diana then you should have shot me in the head" Selena said as she focused on disarming the bomb while paying attention to Diana.

"Well I wanted to give you a chance to save yourself, I was expecting you would be done by now, but look at you...you are still battling to disarm a tiny bomb" Diana said and then she shook her head in shame. "You were my best student Selena, and now, a few weeks away from your old self had changed you so much" Diana spoke as she walked in circles. "is it Damien?" Diana asked and she noticed how Selena's mood changed when she heard his name. "Could it be Selena?" Diana asked but it didn't look like she was expecting a reply from Selena. "Well it can't be possible, you don't feel anything for him right? Damien was just your get away ticket, that's all" Diana said, it looked like she was talking to herself but one could tell that she was indirectly trying to rill Selena up.

"Shut up?" Selena said through gritted teeth, she wasn't going to fall for Diana's trick, she knew too well the game she was playing.

"I'm disappointed in you Selena, how could you let a man manipulate you, you are letting yourself go because of him" Diana spoke and then looked at her with pity. "I expected better from you" Diana said with a tone of pity.

"Shut up!!" Selena yelled as she made a sharp turn with the knife in her hand ready to stab Diana but she watched as her hand moved through thin air.

"Hologram?" Selena asked with raised brows as she looked at the hologram of Diana standing in front of her.

"You weren't really expecting me to still be here with a bomb activated" Diana said with a small laugh.

"Coward" Selena said through gritted teeth as her hands turned to fist, Selena could feel a liquid rolling down her palm but she was too angry to check it.

"It's called being strategic Selena , something you failed to learn from me" Diana said with a grin on her lips, she looked at Selena and saw the girl fume in anger.

"I look forward to seeing you someday, that's if you survive this" Diana said as she glanced at the bomb and then looked at Abigail again.

"Go to hell" Abigail yelled as she turned her back to her and focused on disarming the bomb.

"Thats where you are going" Diana retorted before she left.

Selena sighed as she looked at the timer, she had less than ten minutes left, her palm was sweaty, Diana's words were haunting her. She couldn't focus, a part of her knew that Diana was just toying with her emotions but Selena knew deep down that she was saying the truth.
