Warm...

That was the first thought that came to mind as my consciousness began to recover. It feels warm and weird...like I'm in some sort of mucus...I nuzzled myself in my arms as warmth enveloped me.

'wait...Mucus?..'

I slowly opened my eyes my vision blurred before gradually regaining its vigor.

My eyes widened at the sight before me. I was surrounded by a dark yellow hue, small elastic bubbles slowly creeping to the surface.

'WAIT WHERE THE HECK AM I?!'

I thought as my eyes darted back and forth, only seeing an endless stream of yellow elastic liquid. I tried to move my hands but I was in a very crouched position like that of a fetus. I tried to raise my head to get a better view, but as I did, my head touched something solid.

'ouch...Ok weird…'

I tried moving my arms instead, but they too touched something solid, it was like I was in some sort of block as I was encased at every side.

'Wait wait wait don't tell me...I was arrested or something, NO WAY that's crazy, what crime did I even commit?'

'Ok calm down, think try to remember what happened…'

'I CAN'T REMEMBER ANYTHING!!!'

As I tried to recall things, my mind kept coming up blank, like some sort of mist was blocking my memories.

'Ok!"

'let's try calling for help, maybe there is some sort of mistake! Yep, this is all just some great big misunderstanding and the people in charge are nice folks!' I tried opening my mouth, but not only did a sound not come out, but a waft of bitter yellow goo also rushed into my mouth.

EWW, Gross!!!!

I tried to spit it out, but more just kept coming in my mouth each time I opened it. 'ALRIGHT, THAT'S IT, let's just try to get out of here.' I tried to push my way out, but my arms were weak. I stopped and felt the encasement.

'Hmm, this doesn't seem like a cell' I thought.

Actually, it didn't feel like metal, or some type of hard iron at all, if anything it felt rounded and smooth, slightly rubbery. I pushed the encasement, but this thing wouldn't budge!

'What's this, since when was I so weak??' I tried to push harder and felt the space move a little.

'Come ooonnnn just a little moooore.'

"...."

I stopped moving once I heard a voice.

"I...about...ha..."

The voice sounded muffled and excited.

'Are they the people in charge? my captives?'

" H.....ABOUT...HAT....."

'I can't understand them, first I need to get out of this space.'

I rammed to the left and right until I saw a small crack in the space.

'Yes! great just a little more.....'I proceeded to bang my head until there was a hole and I could finally see outside.

'YES, FREEDOM!!!' I screeched in my heart of hearts.

Fresh air hit me like a wave and I shut my eyes from the blinding light. The air was nice and cool and I immediately spit out the nasty goo.

"BLEECH"

I peeked open my eyes a little, through the small crack I could see a room with wooden floorboards, but not much else. There was a faint smell of must and I saw dust that drifted slowly through the bright peels of sunlight.

Once my eyes adjusted, I proceeded forward with one more headbutt until I broke the smooth encasement. Shards of white and yellow goo fell to the ground below, and I slithered out of the space and into someone's hands.

" ITS HATCHED, SWEETHEART IT'S HERE THE BABIES HERE!" a voice cried in happiness. It was an unfamiliar male's voice.

'Hatched!? Who? Me? But I'm not some chicken, the fu-'

Before I could collect my thoughts a woman came and snatched me from the man's hands and I was peering into the face of a gorgeous goddess with golden pupils, like reptiles staring down at me. I was dumbstruck.

'Wowie wow who's this goddess? excuse me ma'am would you please give me your expertise in beauty?

She was beyond beautiful, long blue luscious hair cascaded off her shoulders, golden eyes that glowed like jewels. Her skin was so pale she could practically blend in with white clouds. She had a dignified air about her but not overwhelming, I could practically see mighty oozing from her though.

The goddess stared at me until tears streamed down her face.

'EH? SHE'S CRYING?! NO WAY I SWEAR I DIDN'T ROAST YOU OR ANYTHING I KEPT QUIET HONEST! I squirmed uncomfortably as the goddess shed more tears.

" She's...*Hiccup*...She's*hiccup" I looked at her waiting for her to finish her sentence.

'Hideous? a failure? murderer? what I'm dying to know…'

" GOOOORGEUOSSSSSSS" her mighty roar shook the very ground.

No, literally she caused massive cracks into the ground. I thought my eardrums would burst and I was getting dizzy from all the shaking. Where the heck did your dignified air go? Also how the heck she's doing that with just shouting?

A man came rushing and tried to pacify her. I assume this man is her husband or something. " I know I know she's beautiful but you need to calm down Laira haha," the man said patting her back.

After a while, the godde- er Laira calmed down and let the man wipe her tears. " what shall we name her," he asked. 'Huh? but I already have a name whatcha mean?'

" Abigail...no Winry...wait Golden girl!!" Laira cried excitedly her golden eyes sparkling like diamonds.

'oh? like the sitcom?., they have that here?. awesome! I never could finish the last episode due to the latent sadness of its ending. Wait that's not important I already have a name why am I getting another one, also who the heck are you two anyway.'

I tried opening my mouth to ask them, but instead of speech, another sound came out, like an animal.

"EEREEK!"

'Haha….Ummm....what was that?' I laughed nervously to myself. I peeked at the two strangers to see if they heard anything, but they were still deep in discussion.

" I have a better name, how about, Glory," the man said

Laira pondered before smiling happily " no....I think Yuiji..." she said. the man looked awe-struck like it was the best thing in the world "That's perfect! We can give her the nickname Yu, my little Yu!" he cried excitedly, quite the chipper one huh. Laira nodded. Then her bright golden eyes looked at me, making me flinch " Welcome to the Moon Forest Yuiji!" she cried holding me in the air.

....Eh?...

I feel like I heard something weird just now? Did she say " Moon forest", not Japan?

wait wait wait HAHA

I looked around frantically, there wasn't a single bicycle, tv, OR vacuum insight, instead, I was in an old shack that smelled of wet wood, must, and mildew.

I looked down at the smiling woman and man " I'm your mommy and this is your daddy my dear sweet Yu" She said spinning me around and hugging me tightly, but I was too dazed to even pay attention to her, as a series of words echoes in my head.

Moon forest...mommy...daddy....hatched....Hatched!?

I slowly looked down at the space I came out of...It was an egg...

I raised what were supposed to be my hands and saw sharp claws and scales that looked like white jewels….they weren't hands...

I then slowly looked back up at the woman and mans smiling faces

"...."

'WHERE THE HECK AMMMMMMM IIIIIII'

"ERRRRRRRIIIIIIEEEEK!!!"

But what came out was not human words but a pathetic excuse for a roar and a massive explosion of power that shook the very continent.
