The night of the match quickly came. I would be lying if I said I wasn't anxious and a little afraid. It wasn't for me, god no, I had the confidence that, whatever happened, I could get out of any situation no matter how bad, what I was scared about was Nya. While I could easily protect myself I was anxious that I would not be able to protect her. I knew that she was an amazing fighter but that didn't make me less scared.

I didn't tell her this since I needed her in the best state of mind. I told her that I believe in her and that whatever happens, she can handle it.

We finally went to the stadium. I saw Tenzin and Korra talking and I waved at both of them, they waved back and we took our seats in the stadium. I was B-12 and Nya was B-13, the guy with our weapons and suits was two seats behind us. We noded at each other and waited for the show to start.

The game started and from the start, I could see the referee was playing favorites. It made Nya quite mad to see this, our friends were getting beaten unfairly on the stage and the referee did nothing I on the other side was happy, the more beat they were the less they would interfere, the less likely they would get hurt.

After the first round, Nya and I went to the bathroom to put our suits on, then we came back. We get back just in time to see how round two ends. Nya had a blast watching Korra wipe the floor with that douche from the wolf-bats, I can't say I didn't enjoy it, but the mission kept my mind occupied.

We remained sitting till the match ended, then we made our move. Like lighting, I drop two metal benders, another two see me, but Nya has my back. I run to Tenzin and Lin Beifong. She doesn't see me but Tenzin does. I electrocute her and I go for him, he tries to dodge and hit me with an air blast, I predict this and do a flip in mid-air. I hit him with my foot while falling knocking him out, my job was done, for now, so I let the other control the crowd so that they remain seated.

I make my way to the platform since our extraction plan was different from the others. We were to rendezvous with Amon and get out of here by airship.

His speak goes smoothly and we leave. As we ascend higher and higher into the night's sky I see Korra and Beifong hot on our tail. Amon orders two angels to jump down and stall her. Unfortunately, she makes quick work out of them.

'What do you know? My lessons are finally paying off.'

I didn't have time to admire how well I taught Korra because I saw Master Wu jump down to buy time. This gives me goosebumps, Master is old and Korra is a great fighter on top of being the avatar, the fact that I taught her how to counter the Equalists weapons and fighting techniques didn't make my master changes any better so I made a decision. I look at Nya and say.

"Protect Amon, I'm going to help master and beat the shit out of Beifong."

I jump in the fight. Lin tries to use one of her ropes to get on the airship, I see and use that to get on the roof and then I cut it.

I'm face to face with her, I feel a blood rush coming over me, I remember the last time I fought her, it wasn't a pleasant experience I tell you that, but I couldn't let my anger take control of the battle. I enter 'limbo state' and I rush at her. The faster I subdue her the faster I can help master.

'Speed is my friend, the faster I hit one of her vital points the faster I finish this.'

One problem with my line of thinking, I knew this and she knew this and there wasn't any way in hell she would let me hit such a point so easily. Hell, she didn't even let me approach her so I could hit a pressure point at least.

It was a battle of attrition, the first one to make a mistake would lose. I knew it was only a matter of time for me to wipe the floor with her old ass, but unfortunately, time was not on my side and she knew this. All she did was keep me at a distance and wait for the other metal benders to come and help her.

I knew I needed to do something drastic if I wanted to win, but I didn't know how extreme. I kept evading all her cables think about the solution and then it hit me. I start to run to help master, Lin seeing this starts to pursue me viciously. She keeps using her cables to stop me, I slowly decelerate and when the time is right I let one of the hooks hit me. I use the momentum to do a barrel roll and pull her closer to me. She wasn't expecting this, to say the least, and thankfully, I managed to land a solid hit. While the hook got pretty deep inside my shoulder I managed to chi block her right arm.

Both of us were now half incapacitated while my arm was hurting her's was out of the game. It a pretty good trade in my opinion. I finally manage to break the stailmate between us. After that it was easy, I used chi blocking to make her unabel to move.

Now the real challange begins.
