Chapter II

"Ethan Ansel!" I heard someone shouting my name. "Where is your son, Helena?" It must be dad, I completely ignore my dad's calling and continue playing my PS5. I heard a loud bang when someone opened my door.

"There you are young man." I irritatingly looked up to my dad who's about to explode. "What now? Can't you see I'm playing?" My dad didn't say a word and runs toward my PS5. I followed his big footsteps and he grabbed my PS5 only to smashed it down to the floor.

"Should I be surprised?" I threw the headset in my ear and goes straight to bed. "Your school called once again young man, aren't you embarassed?" He exclaimed. I covered my head using my pillow.

He's so noisy, as always. He pulled the pillow over my face exposing myself to the bright light. "Can you stop? Just go pay the school with everything! That's what you're good at right?" I exclaimed.

My father shook his head as a sign of disbelief, "You're hopeless." He said and left. I looked up to my mom who is just staring at me sadly. "My poor boy." Mom sat down besides me and hugged me.

"I don't know what exactly happened, but I'm sorry Ethan. Always remember that mom is here for you." She kissed the top of my head and gives me one last hug before saying goodnight.

The next day, I woke up with no one but our maids. This is my everyday life, I eat by myself. I even celebrate Christmas or my birthday by myself and yet they're calling themselves parents? What a piece of lie.

On my way to school I saw Maverick and Jesse coming out of Coffee Blend. "Sup mate?" I nod my head and stops the engine. Once they got inside we go straight to the university.

When we reached the university, all girls are screaming, some boys are glaring, well some boys as well are screaming. All this people around me, but I know there's something still missing.

What it is? I don't know.

"Hi Ethan, here's a cake for you. I baked it myself." One shy girl with pig tails, nerdy eyeglass, and a skirt up to her knees gave it to me. I accepted the cake and continue walking. "Oh my god, he accepted it!" One girl screamed.

"Hey you." I called one boy with big eyeglass and a teeth that is bigger than a rabbit. "Y-yes Ethan?" I smirked, he's obviously scared of my presence. "Take this and eat it, now." He reached out for the cake I'm offering.

"Ethan, that's my gift for you." I glared at the nerdy girl. "Did you actually think I'll eat that rubbish?" I frowned. "Also, don't you think your make up is too light, and is not covering who you really are Laleina?" I looked to the nerdy guy and he's just holding the cake.

"What did I say nerd?" The nerd is startled and starts to eat the cake in front of everybody. "Good boy." I smiled and messed up with his hair. Once again, I looked up to Laleina and saw her face in red almost exploding.

"You must finish everything, okay? Once you're done, give the trash to the owner. She deserves it." I smirked and decided to leave but then- "One more thing, make sure that Laleina will receive her trash guys, got it? If she refuses to accept the trash." I looked back and point Lalein with my index finger.

"Then make sure to make her the trash." Her eyes starts to water but the hell I care? She screamed, "Rot in hell Ethan!" I waved my right hand and didn't say a word. "Mr. Roosevelt, the dean is looking for you." It's the student council president.

"Looks like you're in trouble again, mate?" Jesse laughed. "Shut it bro, or else he will let you eat the cake." Maverick added. I smirked and followed the president straight to the dean's office.

"Mr. Roosevelt, have a seat." I saw my dad sitting on the right side and a student with a parent on the left side. I sat down besides my father  and stare at the student's parent who keeps on glaring at me.

"Dean, I want this guy to be expelled!" I guess that's his father. "Do you know what you did to my son?" This is fun, the mother looks mad as hell. I looked at the student straight to his eyes. "Who are you again?" The boy dropped his jaw.

"I'm a nobody sir, I'm sorry nothing is wrong." He surrendered and looks down on his knee. "Mom, dad let's go home." His mother and father looked at him worried. I envied him.

I wished I have a family like that. "Is it settled now then? I have to go, I have a class to attend to." I exited the room without having a look to the boy and my dad.

"That's it bro? That's the fastest record ever!" Jesse exclaimed. The three of us laugh as hard as we can until we reach the classroom. "You know, I have to go to the cafeteria. I'm kinda hungry, gonna buy myself some sandwich." Maverick stated.

"Buy me one too!" Jesse shouted. "Also asked Ethan if he wants a cake." He added. I shook my head and chuckle. "Buy me a sandwich and a bottle of iced tea." Maverick runs down to the cafeteria leaving me and Jesse inside the classroom.

Everything is so quiet here, it's like something really is missing. I can hear Jesse talks about girls he met online but my mind decides to ignore him. I looked around the classroom and saw one girl besides the wall staring out the window.

My heart feels so excited by seeing her, "Why are you crying, mate?" I looked up to Jesse and touched my cheeks, I felt tears. I looked back on the window side but the girl is not there anymore.
