CH.33 Tricky opponent

Alen's gaze met with the spider's many eyes, if he didn't know any better, he would say the beast was smiling at him, the two locked eyes for a few seconds before the massive spider turned around and left, but in its place countless spiders of all shapes and sizes charged at Alen.

As Alen looked around the cave, he realized he was surrounded by spiders of all sizes. They skittered towards him, their jaws clicking menacingly. Alen knew he had to act fast. He braced himself as the first spider lunged at him, but he was too slow, and it sank its fangs deep into his arm.

Alen gritted his teeth, ignoring the pain, and fought back with all his might. His punches were quick and precise as he focused his mana into his fists and managed to take down several spiders. But there were just too many of them. Alen felt himself getting weaker as the venom from the spider bite spread through his body.
