36. A Seer

(Dining Hall)

The. atmosphere of the dining hall was cheerful as ever.

Stephen was telling the embarrassing tales of Emma's childhood to which she also reacted furiously.

This warm atmosphere is what Lucifer has taken in liking to and has become the favorite part of Lucifer's day.

"...Ah it feels like yesterday, time does pass fast"(Stephen)

"Yes it just feels like yesterday I and Ares seems to fight against each other for the position of the patriarch when we were kids"(Emma)

"Haha but you gave it up half the way"(Stephen)

"sigh I would never force you to do something you never want to do Emma"(Stephen)

The atmosphere in the room suddenly became quite awkward.

It seems that Stephen wanted to make Emma the patriarch after him but it seems like Emma didn't like the idea of being the patriarch and gave up.

Though in the name she is still the running candidate for the seat she had given up on the position halfway.

The previous Lucifer also wanted the seat of patriarch but it was a burden to be one.

"Yes for you, you will be having a complete checkup for your cure"(Emma)

Over the past few days, Stephen had told Lucifer various stories of his past adventures and also about his condition.

It seems on the mission where he found the artifact belonging to the dwarven queen-mother he lost his precious spirit and also got himself injured which resulted in this condition.

He lost his ability to cultivate and level up and began to age at a very fast pace.

Humans in this era could live up to two hundred years easily and those who are awakened can live for millenniums.

One step on the path of cultivation one needs to consistently cultivate and should never stop if a person stops the mana in his body will start to get a leak and the person's level will rapidly drop.

As Lucifer uttered these words both Emma and Stephen looked at Lucifer at the same time.

"Lucifer..I don't like this kind of joke"(Emma)

Emma dangerously narrowed her eyes at Lucifer.

"I'm not joking"(Lucifer)

"I know about a cure for grandfather's condition"(Lucifer)

"Lucifer-"(Emma)

"Emma. Lucifer continue"(Stephen)

"I know it sounds absurd but.. after you use that spell on me I had a dream..No a vision to be precise"(Lucifer)

"In that vision, I saw the glimpses of the future"(Lucifer)

"I..I saw the scene of your death, I saw aunt leaving the house"(Lucifer)

"In my visions, I saw several powerful artifacts hidden in the various regions of the planet, I saw the scenes of other planets and the other races competing against each other"(Lucifer)

Lucifer began to tell them about what the future held for them.

Stephen and Emma both were shocked by Lucifer's words and at first, they found it hard to believe but as Lucifer kept speaking they started to believe in him.

At their level, they could use their extraordinary senses to check whether Lucifer is lying or not and they are sure that Lucifer is telling the truth.

And the mentioning of Emma who leaves the family after Stephen's death is a thing that only Stephen, Emma, and Joseph knew of.

After Lucifer finished speaking Emma and Stephen looked at each other.

They now truly believed on what Lucifer said is true but it was still hard to digest.

When Lucifer demanded an explanation on why he kept the secret he just told them he is confused about whether it is true or not.

"A seer"(Stephen)

"Hmm?"(Lucifer)

"We both believe in you Lucifer, based on your explanation it seems that you are a seer"(Stephen)

"A Seer?"(Lucifer)

"Yes, in the history of ours it is not uncommon for the people to see the glimpses of the future"(Emma)

"Some people who are blessed can look into the future and we called it a seer"(Emma)

"Appearance of a seer is a rare case and a state secret"(Stephen)

"The government and the top figures have kept this piece of information as a secret so no one knows about them"(Stephen)

"But the existence of seer is true"(Stephen)

"Most of the seers are arrested and are forced to work for the government as they can see the future or are executed if the government founds them revolting"(Stephen)

"Most of the seer can only see visions once in. their lifetime while some can see many times if they are triggered"(Stephen)

"This means-"(Lucifer)

"It means you are a seer Lucifer"(Stephen)

"You don't need to worry. about anything Lucifer"(Emma)

"It's great that you are a seer, but promise us not to tell anyone that you are a seer"(Emma)

Later the conversation went on with Lucifer telling them more about the future and later gave them a Pendrive in which he stored a map with all the locations for the important artifact which will be helpful in the future marked in it with some extra locations where nothing was present.

Even if he had an excuse by telling them he is a seer it would be unreal to have a 100% success rate.

It's just been a week since Lucifer met Stephen and Emma but he has become too attached to them.

He who have always experienced coldness from others and never got the desired familiar love the relationship with Emma and Stephen is what he desires the most and didn't want to let go of it.

Today Lucifer's residence had been renovated completely so he will be moving back to his place but before leaving he had asked for Emma and Stephen to train him in combat.

They were surprised by this but agreed on this as well, from his mouth they knew that Lucifer will encounter a lot of dangers during his adventures.

Though they can't train him in mana-based combats since he hasn't awakened but then also they can help him to enhance his skills and improve his survival skills.

"Young Master"(Joseph)

Joseph opened the car's door and Lucifer exited the luxurious car and he came back to his villa.

Just as he exited a gorgeous girl wearing a black maid outfit greeted Lucifer with a proper bow.

"Welcome to your residence, young master"(Bonnie)

She had beautiful black hair and dark brown eyes and her charm even though is lesser than Sarah and Emma, is still considered a great beauty.

The girl greeted Lucifer and Joseph went on with her introduction.

"She is Bonnie, your new personal maid young master."(Joseph)
