I'm the Terminally ill Novel's Extra

From a reader to a character in a novel, the last thing she expected was to become a mere extra in a story. But... To her shock, she was no normal extra. She was a terminally ill extra! Counting the days left on her fingers, she struggles to maintain her character. Having received a system of her own, only made her realize that her mere existence made the story deviate from the original plot. ____________ Seated at the table, Wang Mingya tried her best not to notice the stares being thrown at her by the countless elites. For them, she was just a 'troublemaker'. Among the nobles, with a cold look on his face, was Alexander Arden, the crown prince of the kingdom. Dressed elegantly in a well-tailored suit, silver cufflinks adorning his wrists, he was truly popular among the women. "Oh my, Prince Alexander is truly so handsome. My daughter talks about you all the time~" A middle-aged woman laughed, touching Alexander's arm. Her friends soon joined, echoing her words. "I know right~ my sister is the same." "Even Lia, you know her right? The one who's popular now." Their sweet voices made Mingya want to throw up. Trying to maintain the smile on her face, she picked up a piece of meat from her plate. Just as she swallowed the meat, her stomach contracted painfully. Her trembling hand dropped the fork. The next second, food and bile came up to her throat. She got up abruptly and rushed outside the room. The audience in the room murmured, shaken by her leaving this sudden. "As expected of the attention seeker," sneered the lady who had first spoken up. Meanwhile, all Mingya could do was stare at the amount of blood in the urinal, some slightly dripping into her soft white dress. She had just vomited blood. [Ding!] [Health: Critical!] "What... "Cure?"

"Ugh..."

Mingya's eyes fluttered open, feeling groggy and disoriented. As she looked around the dimly lit room, she noticed the elegant floral patterns on the walls and the antique fixtures that shone in the low light.

To her right was a porcelain sink with gold fixtures, and in the corner of the room was a clawfoot bathtub with intricately carved feet.

Mingya caught a whiff of sweet lavender, which emanated from a bouquet on a nearby table. But the pleasant scent was quickly overpowered by the pungent metallic smell of blood, causing Mingya to gag and cover her nose.

It also reminded her where she was.

Mingya muttered to herself, "Damn it...What the hell was that?" as she remembered the sensation of vomiting blood. Her stomach churned at the memory, and she felt a queasiness that threatened to overcome her.

"System?" she called out to the system trying to know how much time has passed.

Mingya studied her status and came to the stark realization of the severity of her condition. She couldn't believe her plans had been thwarted yet again, and she knew she needed to find a way to rid herself of this illness.

With a heavy sigh, she muttered, "It seems like this world just won't give me a break, will it?"

Mingya carefully considered her options and knew that there was only one way to find out if her illness was curable or not.

She needed to seek out the 'Miracle Doctor', a side lead of the novel who resided in the Capital city.

Rumors about the Miracle Doctor were widespread. Some said he was a powerful mage, while others claimed he had access to ancient healing techniques. Regardless of the truth, Mingya knew that if anyone could cure her illness, it was him.

She thought to herself, "At least the 'Miracle Doctor' is better than the one from 'Zero Dawn.' In the novel, he was barely present and didn't seem to have much interest in the female lead. I hope that he'll be able to help me"

Suddenly Mingya wrinkled her nose as the smell of blood mixed with lavender clung to her skin and clothes. She couldn't stand it any longer, so she decided to take a bath.

"Ugh, this is disgusting. I need to wash this off," she muttered to herself as she stood up and made her way to the clawfoot bathtub.

As she approached the bathtub, she could see that it was big enough to fit two people. She turned on the faucet, and the sound of running water filled the room.

She took off her clothes, revealing her stunning figure, toned and smooth without a blemish. It was clear that despite her illness, Charlotte had taken great care of her body, and it radiated a natural beauty that was hard to ignore.

As she settled into the water, her long, slender legs emerged from the surface, their smooth skin glimmering in the soft light of the room. Her toned abdomen and perky breasts were on full display, accentuated by the gentle curve of her hips.

As she leaned her head back against the rim of the tub, her hair cascaded down her back in a disheveled mess of brown strands. The water droplets clung to her skin, but she paid them no attention, lost in thought about her situation.

_______

In Edward's Room.

Edward gazed out of the window, lost in thought, as the sky above grew darker with every passing moment. The erratic weather seemed to mirror the chaos that had consumed his day.

Suddenly, a soft knock echoed through the room, followed by a familiar voice.

"May I come in?" Evelyn asked, her voice gentle and soothing.

Edward sighed, knowing he couldn't deny her request. "Come in, Eve."

She walked in with quiet grace and sat on his bed, patting the space beside her as an invitation for him to join her. Edward walked over to her and settled in beside her, unsure of what to say.

Evelyn's gaze swept over him, and she spoke softly. "What happened?"
