Chapter 7: Top Scorer

There's barely anyone in the class yet, as it is still early and the people currently in the class are two male except Kenzaki. A male wearing glasses similar to short dark blue hair, this is Tenya Lida. Another male has silky long blonde hair and notable long eyelashes. His name is Yuga Aoyama.

Kenzaki looks at them, before walking toward the seat near the windows that receive the most sunlight. He chooses the middle of it and he puts his bag on the ground next to his table. Grabbing his chair and turning toward the window, he takes a seat and closes his eyes, enjoying the sunlight.

As an upright and friendly person, Lida approaches him and said "Nice to meet you, I'm Tenya Lida"

Kenzaki replied without looking at him and still enjoying the sunlight, "Kazuma Kenzaki"

"The one that set an unprecedented record?" Lida asked. Surprised to see the one who broke the record.

"Yes" Kenzaki answered.

"I have been wondering... what are you doing here?" Lida wanted to know why Kenzaki bathing in the sunlight.

"Meditating," Kenzaki said, turn to Lida with a smile and still close his eyes. "We can talk later but for now let me have my peace" "

"Oh, alright" Lida nodded, not wanting to bother him anymore.

Then more and more people came into the class and different from others, Kenzaki still enjoying the sunlight. Few of the classmates wonder why he is doing and Lida explains to them what he is doing.

Suddenly, the door slide opened strongly and Bakugo arrived at the class. He inspects his classmate searching for Kazuma Kenzaki.

But then the same thing happened as soon as Bakugo put his feet on his table. Lida lectured Bakugo, and then Izuku arrived, followed by a girl with auburn hair who Izuku had saved during the entrance exam. Her name was Uraraka Ochako.

After all that, the homeroom teacher arrived in a sleeping bag and said the same thing "It took you 8 seconds to quiet down"

As he gets out of his sleeping bag, "Life is short kid, you're all lacking common sense."

The homeroom teacher began introducing himself, "I'm your homeroom teacher, Aizawa Shouta. Pleasure meeting you"

Just after that introduction, he gave an instruction to his students to wear PE clothes and head PE Grounds. When everyone arrived there, Aizawa began telling what they will be doing.

"Today, you lot will do a Quirk apprehension test,"

That surprised everyone because generally people there can barely make it into the UA except for a few people.

Uraraka raised her hand, and she asked, "What about the ceremony and the guidance counselor?"

"If you want to be a hero, we don't have time for frilly niceties," Aizawa replied as he turned to his students. "You all understand the school's reputation for freedom on campus. Well, that freedom is also for teachers too."

Aizawa explained the physical test they will be doing but this time they could use Quirk and then he called the top scorer.

"Kenzaki," Aizawa said as Kenzaki approaches him and he throws a ball. Kenzaki caught it as Aizawa asked, "How far could throw it in middle school?"

"30 meters," Kenzaki replied based on the memories as he stood in the middle of the circle.

"Try using your Quirk this time around. As long as you stay inside the circle, anything you do is fine," Aizawa told him.

Kenzaki goes into position as Aizawa said "Don't hold back"

Gave a thumb as he was ready to throw the ball and taking one step. The ground cracks from the stomps, causing everyone there shocked at how strong that step is. Throwing it with all his might, the sound barrier broke and the wind pressure that he created felt throughout the town as the ball shot through the sky, reaching the sky.

Everyone felt the wind pressure. Some of them fell to the ground and the others barely stood up.

"How was that?" Kenzaki asks looking at Aizawa questioning who is him.

Aizawa noticed All Might in the background watching them.

'Is he All Might successor?'

But he continues, showing how far Kenzaki throws. On it, the record shows infinity.

"Before anything else, everyone needs to know what they're capable of. This is the rational metric that shows the hero foundation," Aizawa said.

Noticing this, Kenzaki said inwardly 'Sooner or later, I will carry Infinity,'

"This seems fun" A tall, lean male with black hair, and his elbow has the shape of a cylindrical tape dispenser.

"We can really use our Quirk?! That's the heroics department for you" A male has short gold hair with a black lightning streak on the left of his hair.

"It looks fun, you say," Aizawa looked up in the sky before looking down and stared at his palms "So you were planning to spend three years having a good old time. What happened to becoming a hero?"

Then he decided with a smile, looking straight at them, and raised his hair back. "Alright then, in that case. New rule: the student who ranks the last in total is hopeless and expelled from the school."

Everyone was tense except for few people there especially Kenzaki.

"But that is not fair, today is our first day" Uraraka complained because this is too unreasonable "And the kid that last rank will get expelled"

"Natural disaster, massive accident, ego mad villain, all kind of calamities can happen when least expected, and it is our job to reverse it and restore it" Aizawa is basically telling that life is unfair and he continues "If you thought this is a friendly school. That's too bad. From now on, you will be facing hardship in these 3 years and I expect you to overcome the trial"

He raised his index finger and said "This is the Plus Ultra, climb to the top and time to step up on the plate"

Then the test begins...

Trial 1: 50-Meter Dash

0.00 seconds, Kenzaki record.

Aizawa is far more confused even the one who has speed Quirk loses to Kenzaki. Everyone didn't expect this.

'His paper did say that he has Mutant Type Quirk, he name it Kyrptonian' Aizawa wonders what makes his Mutant Type Quirk become this strong and he also suspicious of Kenzaki hiding the truth about his Quirk.

Trial 2: Grip Strength Test.

Kenzaki broke the grip test machine. One student in his class who behind him was surprised that he just did it casually. That student is Sato Rikido. He has Quirk Sugar Rush. Increasing his overall stats by eating sugar.

Trial 3: The Standing Long jump

At his standing point, Kenzaki's calf was tense as the ground cracks again. As he jump, he goes outside of the sandpit limit but he was high up the sky. Everyone can't believe that Kenzaki's physical stats are far high up even higher than most people.

Trial 4: Sustained Sideways Jump

The record machine broke as it cannot count Kenzaki sideways jumps. At this point nobody can beat Kenzaki. Bakugo seeing him the wrong way because he saw him as a wall that he need to beat.

Trial 5: The Pitch

The same record was made and Aizawa stop Izuku exactly like in the story and everything goes the same way. Bakugo crashing out still happen and Izuku didn't get expelled just because Aizawa saw something in Izuku even if he didn't show it.
