Celebration

Zen's private ward was currently filled with a joyful atmosphere, the family was chatting with each other as laughs sounded from time to time while eating the food they ordered.

They also sneaked in some alcohol in the hospital to "spice up" their celebration. Ren felt that it was improper but with Rina's "persuasion" he was soon convinced.

They talked about the past and shared their experiences, they did not hold back with their stories at all.

This was because although they chatted with Zen in the past, his depressing state still affected the mood.

The helplessness that he hid deep down were all seen through by his family in an instant.

But now that Zen was finally able to move freely, they became happy and did not have anything that caused them to feel helpless in their hearts.

As such, they were able to feel pure happiness as they spent their time with each other.

This joyous atmosphere continued on till evening came and the sun in the sky was replaced by the moon.

Looking at the night sky through the big window in his room, Zen reminisced about the events that happened lately.

He was really happy right now.

His happiness could not be even expressed by mere words.

Through the reflection on the window, he saw the faces of his little sister who was chugging down alcohol like there was no tomorrow, he also saw his parents being all lovey-dovey with each other.

All the scenes behind him that he saw through the window made his lips curl up into a smile.

However, he also could not help but think of Arthur.

Although they have only met each other for almost two weeks, he was like a second family to him.

It felt as if they had many similarities, making him feel closer towards him. He was also the one who made it possible for him to recover to this extent. Therefore, he was really grateful to him.

'Hmmm… are there any ways to travel between worlds without the helmet…'

This thought passed by in his mind as he looked out the window.

"Heh… what am I thinking…"

Zen muttered as he chuckled softly, closing in the curtains and going back to celebrate with his family.

The next day…

Zen woke up, refreshed.

He rubbed his eyes and saw the packages of the food they ordered scattered across the ground and shook his head as he chuckled wryly, "Haha… we really enjoyed ourselves last night, huh…"

He got up and walked towards the bathroom to brush his teeth and wash his face with cold water.

As soon as he got in the bathroom, he jumped up and almost fell down in shock.

'What the fuck!'

"Ughhhh…. Shit hangover…"

A woman had her face above the toilet as she knelt.

Her snow white hair covered her face, making her look like a particular ghost from a Japanese myth.

Her eyes had bags around it too, making it obvious that she had a hard time sleeping.

Who else could it be other than his little sister, Sera?

Sera was leaning towards the toilet as she vomited. Like when she was drinking, she vomited like there was tomorrow.

"Fucking hangover… I'll never drink again, shit…"

Hearing the colorful words coming out of his little sister's mouth, Zen felt scared out of his wits.

It was the first time he saw Sera like this, making him feel that there were sides of her and even his family that he really did not know of.

However, he also felt that it was normal. After all, there was always a side of people that only they themselves knew about.

But his little sister still really scared the shit out of him, it was as if she had become another person.

It was almost as if she became a zombie or an animal. Either way, she really became wild and aggressive.

Thus, he quickly brushed his teeth and washed his face as quietly as possible, afraid of catching the attention of his little sister.

'Quick, quick, before the demon notices me!'

"Who the fuck is that!?"

Sera suddenly raised her head and shouted aggressively.

Seeing no one, Sera became confused and thought, 'Huh?'

"Oh well, it must be my imagination…"

She leaned on the toilet and resumed vomiting.

"Ughhh, I will really never drink again, I swear!"

'Shit, shit, That was close!!'

Hearing his little sister's shout, Zen felt as if he escaped death by a hair's breadth.

Still feeling goosebumps, Zen walked towards his bed and saw his parents in the sofa who both fell asleep in each other's embrace.

He smiled and picked up the blanket in his bed before placing it over his sleeping parents.

They snuggled like two dogs who were sleeping in the cold weather.

'Oops, maybe my analogy is a little…'

Clearing his thoughts with a shake of his head, Zen decided to clean up the mess they caused.

He picked packages of food and bottles of beverages that were scattered in the ground and threw it in the garbage bag in his hand.

After a few minutes of cleaning, his private ward was as good as new.

Fortunately, his parents instructed the nurses that they will be here with him.

That was why they still have not done their routine inspection despite it being ten in the morning, making it convenient for him to walk around freely without the fear of being seen by others.

It also made it possible for him to safely hide the fact that he was suddenly able to move freely.

After all, if this was known by others, then it would be likely that it would arouse the suspicion of the hospital which could possibly lead to complicated problems.
