Monday afternoon, Remi walked into the classroom for his last lecture of the day. This was one of three classes that he didn't share with Dane.
Dane wasn't with Remi in this class because he had extra sword, martial, and field classes where he was majoring in the knight's course that the academy offered, not that Dane needed it. He was already knighted, which was an amazing feat that was considered hard for someone so young.
The classroom, which had been bubbly with chatter, quieted down as soon as he entered. Many eyes drilled into him, and a few people even avoided looking at him when he passed by.
How strange. They were acting as though they had been gossiping about him, which all teenagers and some adults love to do.
