Is This the So-Called 'Thickening of the Plot?'

The void of space is far-reaching and ever-present, but beyond its confines lies the dao-domain of something beyond existence. Time and it's variated flows stretch out across trillions and trillions of universes, but there lies a place beyond that time cannot affect.

Life and death are of no consequence in this dao-domain, its concepts and laws are impossible to grasp. Housing the vast expanse of multiverses within a subset of its physical form, the Great Omniverse persists everlasting.

Previously, Logean Wuji had invoked the Omni-Law as a way of devoting one hundred years to his students. In that time, he would have been restricted from leaving Akna-Logea, and thus would be unable to leave his students.

For who could circumvent the Omni-Law? Logean Wuji suspected that even he could not do it.

It was something that balanced the entirety of the Omniverse and, as a result, all of existence and non-existence. This was a height that nothing could reach; such was the reverence and awe Logean Wuji felt toward the Omni-Law.

Naturally, whereas nothing could circumvent the Omni-Law, it seemed entirely possible that it could circumvent itself. For where was Logean Wuji being transported to at this very moment? And where was Chaos being taken to as well, following close behind the Logean?

Precisely. They were both being transported to a plane of the Omniverse's dao-domain.

There is no possible way for the human mind to grasp the sights beheld within the Omniverse, so there can only be a failed attempt at explaining the things that lay within.

There were red holes in the stillness of the dao, a void unlike any other. Purple specters of scintillating violet light, winged objects whose sizes constantly shifted, world-planes filled with viscous liquids, giant dao-bodies representing various concepts that existed within the lesser universes- too many of such crazy sights were available to be gawked at.

A muscular green man with a bald head and antennae was flitting through the stillness of the dao on the back of caterpillar-bear hybrid. In addition, various images of a single yellow bear could be seen, fighting over a jar labelled 'honey,' made of pure platinum.

Logean Wuji and Chaos slowly flitted through the stillness of the dao, unable to do anything else. They were swiftly being taken to someplace within the Omniverse, travelling at speeds beyond speeds that were beyond the speed that was beyond the speed of light.

How crazy is that!

Yet, they were barely getting anywhere as the size of the Omniverse was simply too grand. Without much else to do, they soaked in the sights, most of which they had never seen before.

"Have you ever been here 'Wuji?' Why does it seem as though you've never seen these things before." Though Chaos' form had no expressions to be seen, there was a smugness in its voice as it spoke that irritated Logean Wuji.

"I can sense your fluctuations. You are far more thrilled than I am. Have you been to the Omniverse before, Chaos?" Logean Wuji paid no mind to Chaos' reaction, instead closing his eyes and trying to get a hold on the situation.

"It's useless. The energy pulling us is beyond what we have the capacity to sense."

"Is it that you think we're equals?" Logean Wuji did not open his eyes, but it was clear that he was bothered by the way Chaos referred to him. It was almost as if it thought that Logean Wuji would be incapable of something it too was incapable of.

"The Principles stand on equal footing with the Grand Dao. We know as well as you do that the 'Wuji' is simply the manifestation of the Grand Dao. You are no greater than I am."

Logean Wuji was silent, as he was unsure of how to respond. It was true that, for as long as he could remember, he had seen himself as the Grand Dao's 'envoy' so to speak. He had been fascinated by it and had affixed his very existence to it.

He felt that, in a way, this had weakened him somewhat.

Suddenly, a tube of dao-force opened up before them, transporting them to yet another dao-domain. Only this time, they were in a world of endless rainbows and rainbow clouds. Rainbow colored dao-force filled the atmosphere, and thick rainbow mist permeated every inch of the domain.

Multi-dimensional rainbow colored shapes flitted this way and that, making circles around a rainbow colored hot tub. Logean Wuji and Chaos both looked toward this hot tub, becoming both puzzled and shocked, confused and questioning whether or not they were seeing the same things.

A giant of a man, mountainous and muscular, was standing in the center of the hot tub. Though he stood at the center, the water did not rise past his ankles, allowing them to see the forests of his legs. They were simply too hairy!

It was not an exaggeration to say that those hairs could be considered locks unto themselves. It was entirely possible that the average female would not have hairs as long as this.

Logean Wuji's eyes moved further, and he suddenly had the urge to cough up yet another mouthful of blood. This was because the giant man was wearing nothing but a mini-skirt and crop-top, showing off the rest of his toned and hairy body. He was currently standing in a pose similar to those of some cheery magical girl, and his face was covered in masterfully applied makeup.

All in all, this was one of the oddest sights they had both ever seen within the Omniverse.

To make matters worse, this man was precisely the entity that had sent the dao-force to them. He was the one that had taken them against their will.

Dark expressions overcame them both; the two mighty beings suddenly became incredibly downcast. To think that such a person ...had taken them against their will....

Logean Wuji was the first to shrug it off, and he cleared his throat and straightened up. Once they were a few feet away from the hot tub, just out of the way of the swirling debris, the dao-force vanished and they came to a stop. Chaos was still a bit out of it, questioning its existence and whether or not it was really worthy of its title.

The man help up his index and middle fingers, giggling sheepishly and beckoning them to join him in the hot tub. "Come, come! The water is perfect!"

"Sorry, I recently discovered that I have aquaphobia. This is as close as I can get without instantly dying." Logean Wuji was quick to offer up a reasonable explanation, and the man in the hot tub shook his head with a girlish chuckle. Chaos was quick to follow his lead, and so the man tilted his head to the side, pondering the likelihood of them both possessing such a rare condition.

"Ah well, I'll come to you then!" The muscular made made a move, about to raise his leg high enough for him to step out of the hot tub. Both Logean Wuji and Chaos immediately noticed the problem with that, and their spirits sunk even further. With gritted teeth and tight fists, they hurried to put a stop to this.

That was because the mini-skirt was short. Very short. Not only that, but the man was wearing no underwear!

"That's okay, senior. We'll get a bit closer," Chaos blurted out with both hands raised before him.

"Yes, yes," Logean Wuji continued, "I suddenly find that my aquaphobia has been cured somewhat."

And so, they approached the hot tub, reluctant and worried that they would be taken, yet again, against their will...

Logean Wuji was a naturally proud and confident person, but that was only when it came to the Infinite Expanses. The Omniverse was much too large, and there existed far too many unknown entities. Even more frightening was the fact that this person's energy matched that of the Omni-Law's dao-seal.

To Logean Wuji, this 'eccentric' man before them could very well be the Omni-Law itself.

They sat on the rim of the hot tub, dipping their feet into the warm bubbling water. It was a welcome sensation for their nervous selves, and they soon were able to relax and release some of the stress of the situation.

"Greetings to the 'Wuji,' and Chaos. My name is Violetta Von Shaets Meredith Aurelius El Jeebeety Grandius III."

"However, you might know be my another name."

This was it; Logean Wuji looked to Chaos to find the entity looking to him as well. They nodded to one another, and prepared to have their suspicions confirmed.

"Steve?"

They froze, unable to think properly for a moment. Eventually, they shook their heads.

"How strange. I was sure you would know this dao-title of mine. Then, do you know of the great and powerful Ben?"

They shook their heads again.

"Mark?"

And again.

"Karl?"

Yet again.

The man was stumped, and he sat down in the hot tub to think. He folded his legs, and both Logean Wuji and Chaos were deeply thankful that the mini-skirt was still able to cover him. They both wanted nothing more than to look away, but there was some kind of dao-force around this man that was more attractive than anything else.

But Logean Wuji was not into men, and Chaos was not into anything or anyone at all!

Trying their best to ignore that attractive force, they refocused on the man's mumblings.

"Those were all my greatest titles. I fear there are no other names I go by that would be great enough for you two to recognize. How sad, boohoo..."

Doubting himself, Logean Wuji decided to clear his throat and ask, "What about Omni-Law?"

The man frowned and waved it off, "No one calls me that in the Infinite Expanses, especially not you two rookies. Only beings that are well versed in the Omniverse know me by that dao-title."

Needless to say, their suspicions had been spot-on. This man was indeed the Omni-Law itself! What a crazy world!

Logean Wuji and Chaos fell silent yet again. They both were thankful that they had not taken a stance against this man, since he was actually an unfathomable existence. Logean Wuji even started to feel a bit of reverence toward the man. After all, he was a matchless figure in all the Omniverse. The Omni-Law itself that governs the Principles and the Grand Dao. How amazing was that?

It was just that, well, they were expecting something or someone a lot more traditionally badass. Perhaps a sword-wielding grandpa or a reserved and graceful goddess. Despite all that, they then focused on the main objective which was: finding out why he had brought them there.

"As I am sure you know, you have gone against one of my core restrictions. My programming is rather simple: accept the requests of all entities within the Omniverse and ensure that their karmic ties are secure, while also preventing those that lack the appropriate fate from learning of the Omniverse and its secrets."

"You, 'Wuji,' have broken a rule. My programming states that your surname and origins are not to be known by anyone else within the Omniverse, yet you have revealed this secret to Chaos here. As such, I have been tasked with punishing you for your crime."

Cold sweat ran down Logean Wuji's body, and he began to think that this was not the right way to learn about the Wuji person that had appeared to his parents. Now, he was being punished by the Omni-Law. Perhaps the best option was to have never tried to search for answers at all. Chaos was being a cheeky little bitch in the corner, snickering at Logean Wuji's misfortune. It had thought that they both would be punished, but that no longer seemed to be the case.

"I have decided on your punishment. Listen well."

"By my experience, the people within the Infinite Expanses are mediocrity incarnate. Not only that, but they are filthy things that experience nasty little things called diseases. As such, I will give you what I deem to be the worst punishment possible"

"Wuji, you will be forced to..."

"Take a student from among the weaklings of the Infinite Expanses and train them for one hundred years!"

Logean Wuji froze up, then did his best to hide his satisfied smile. He did not have to do anything at all. He had already done this, and nine times over as well! Chaos sighed dejectedly, and Logean Wuji cast a vicious glance its way. However, much to Chaos' dismay and Logean Wuji's delight, the Omni-Law continued on to say, "As for Chaos, you have allowed the 'Wuji' to tell you this well-guarded secret, and so you are his accomplice in my eyes."

"This is your punishment: Assume the form of one of the Infinite Expanses mortal races, thus casting away all of your power. I shall regulate your dao, and ensure that balance is maintained without you. You will be forced to live as one of these mortals..."

"For one billion years!"

"Wha- But how is that fair!?"

The Omni-Law frowned, "What do you mean? His punishment is far worse. Do you know what communicable diseases are? Do you know what STD's are? Yeuck, disgusting. I hope the 'Wuji' doesn't contract any."

"But I have to become one of them? What if I contract a disease?"

"No-no, you simply have to cast off your powers and assume a mortal form, that's all. You'll be fine."

Logean Wuji as doing his best to stifle his laughter, thankful that the Omni-Law's understanding of things below the Omniverse was so shallow. It was truly a naive being. As for Chaos, it was only incensed further upon seeing Logean Wuji's joyous demeanor. He had gotten off scot free, even though he was the one that had broken the law!

"It isn't fair! It's not, it's not, it's not!!!"

Maybe this should have been an Aux. Chapter, or maybe not. Either way, I hope you enjoyed. Coming next, the Whirlwind Monkey!
