She squealed.
And wiggled. She flopped around on the bed,
And rolled around on her back, holding her delicate treasure up in her hands, over her head.
"A KITTEN TOOTH!" She cried out, kicking her legs on the bed. "A little! Baby! Kitten! Tooth!"
Vaughn sat near her.
His eyebrow ticked.
He stared.
Stared at his empress and fiancee, apparently unimpressed that she was flailing excitedly on the bed.
Over a tooth.
A tiny tooth, a baby tooth.
A feline one, not an actual baby tooth. But she wasn't acting any differently from how she might act for a human child losing teeth.
...Okay.
Maybe she was acting a little more extreme than even that. But. She chose to ignore this, because a kitten tooth was cuter than a baby tooth.
She squinted at Vaughn, pausing in her flailing around and celebrating.
She could read those skeptical thoughts of his just looking at his face!
She huffed, cheeks puffed.
