Reunion

Lucifer and Medusa stood in the serene valley, the sunlight filtering through the trees creating a tranquil atmosphere. Medusa, still filled with the adrenaline and power from their confrontation with Poseidon, looked up at Lucifer with a mixture of gratitude and determination.

"Lucifer," she began hesitantly, "you've done so much for me. I don't know how to repay you, but I can't just go back to being alone. I want to follow you, to learn from you. Please, let me stay by your side."

Lucifer's expression softened as he looked at her. "Medusa, you don't owe me anything. You have your own path to follow, your own destiny to shape. Staying with me would only keep you from discovering your true potential."

Medusa shook her head stubbornly. "I owe you everything, Lucifer. You saved me, gave me a chance to take back control of my life. I need to stay with you, to learn how to control my powers and to ensure that I can protect myself and others."
