"I'm not impressed." He said and Kalina guessed the laughter in his words. "Still." She returned, trying to match his amusement and completely failing. That man had a knack for annoying her, that was for sure. ¿Why? Kalina didn't know for sure. She felt a little stupid about the discovery, but there was something else. Something attracted her to him, that was undeniable.
Sending her thoughts flying, Kal walked out into the living room and opened one of the maps on the table.
"The original route took us along the coast to Port Lua." Kalina began tracing the map with her finger. "Calis Bay, our ship must be waiting for us here." There were three rest stops along the way. These had been scheduled in three cities. "Mirta, a day away. Eslinda, two days later. And finally Hasara." Kalina finished saying as she felt Valian get right next to her.
"From Eslinda to Hasara, it would be a three-day trip through Las Pétreas. And from there to Port Lua is another three days." He said.
"If we deviate, we risk falling short of the supplies we can afford to transport."
"Moreover, the enemy can also foresee our tactics." Valian pointed out.
