The Emperor and The Noble Lady
There's this fairytale story where the emperor was said to be engaged to a beautiful noble lady, they fell in love with each other as they spend their time every day. The emperor was the sun and the noble lady was the moon it was a perfect balance and the whole empire supported and love them to be together.
But then a rebellion happened, it was the noble lady's family who plotted and led the rebellion because of that the noble lady and the emperor had to separate with each other.
"Promise me 5 things Anastashia" the Emperor looked into her eyes
"Dylan, I don't want to leave!! I want to help you!! Even though it cost me losing my family I..." she started crying and the emperor hugged her making sure she felt secure
"Don't worry Anastashia I will handle this and once everything is okay, I will come and look for you" He holds both of her hands
"1st, promise me you will never forget me" he grips her hands tightly
"How!! How can I--" He put a finger in her lips to make her shut up
"2nd, promise me to live a healthy life" He touches her cheeks
"3rd, promise me not to look or love another man" She touches his hands that are in her cheeks
"4th, promise me to not reveal your identity to anyone unless it's already time" He then kissed her cheeks
"5th... Only love me" She smiles weakly
"Isn't like the 3rd one is like the 5th one?" she lightly punches his shoulders making him laugh
"Hahahaha maybe... but it doesn't matter" They look at each other's eyes and smile sadly
"Come and find me fast Dylan" she grips his hands tightly
"Don't worry... I love you" he hugs her one more time
"I trust you; you can do it... I believe in you!!" They both share a very deep and sweet kiss
"Dylan the guards are coming" The duke said as he noticed the lit torches coming in their direction
"You must go" He lightly pushes Anastashia away and smiles bitterly before walking away from her
"DYLAN!!" He looks back and she smiles sweetly with tears in her eyes
"I love you too please come find me soon" She waves her hands as he smiles and nods at her then suddenly she disappears leaving ice butterflies in the air
"What happen after that teacher!?" the young girl excitedly asked her teacher
Then the other children also started voicing out their questions about the story that their teacher is reading for them
"Is the noble lady a fairy?" A boy asked while trying to read the book in his teacher's hands
"Maybe she is a mage!!" another boy said and the others agreed to him
"Did the emperor find her again teacher!?" the young girl asked again
Everyone was just excited about what is going to happen next
"Calm down calm down" the teacher smiles hopelessly and let out a small sigh
"Do you want to know what happens next?" their teacher asked teasingly
The children nod and just stare at her
"Hahaha I'll tell you if you finish all your homework by next week" She winks at them and stands up
"Noo waayy!!!!" She laughs at them and points outside the window as the children's parents are waiting outside
The children quickly clean their stuff and toys, they say their goodbyes to her and run towards their parents. She walks towards the door to say her goodbye once more while waving her hand
"Then the emperor fought against the rebels" she whispers to herself as she turns around and closes the door
"He won the war and took back his throne" The book floats back to the shelf by itself
"The noble lady who heard the news, she was happy because she was expecting he will personally come and propose to her" She starts making a cup of tea for herself
"Royal guards came to her and to her surprised they arrested her" She removed her hair tie and her long pink curly hair waves down up to her waist
"She was arrested because of treason" She sat down in her chair
"When she finally got to see the man who she dearly loves, it broke her apart" She put up her feet to the chair and hugged them
"He already loves someone else and she asked him why" The sunlight beam in her face making her pink silky hair and purple eyes glitters
"He just smiles sadly and apologizes..." She stares at the birds that are outside of her window
'Anastashia I'm sorry I already love someone else' he said
The noble lady who waited for 13 years was left stunned, she doesn't know what to do, she cried but didn't beg him to love her again instead she voluntarily prisoned herself and keep her mouth shut. She accepted any torture, any pain... she accepted everything
"Dylan, how unfair" She looks at her cup and sees her reflection
'I waited for 13 years... I kept my promises but I guess that how is it, I can't hurt you nor her since I know you will be hurt'
