I'm reborn as Rudeus Greyrat

This is a fanfic based on the world of Reincarnation of the Unemployed with Rudeus as an assassin. Not that it's better than the original Rudeus, but I enjoyed the world, its characters, and the story. In addition to Rudeus' basic plushies, the character will have a game system, but a more willful one than usual in this type of fanfiction. Yes, it's the type of system that has a mind of its own and often trolls the protagonist. But in the end, the system ends up on his side. This fanfic was banned, I tried to change some things maybe now it will be ok. and the story is at patreon.com/FanFictionPremium

The first experiments with teleportation magic quickly made me realise what it was all about. And the reality was somewhat different from my early perceptions. I thought that teleports created a kind of door through space, like a mole's Burrow. That's why the visualisation of the process was in the form of doors through space. I still had thoughts that if you opened a portal at the bottom of the ocean, say, you could create a powerful stream of water capable of destroying mountains. But in reality, teleportation magic works a little differently.

A circle, as it were, marks objects, after which transport takes place. It's not a door distorting space, it's the transport of specific objects from one circle to another. Though, the nature of this process itself is still not entirely clear. It seems that the teleportation object turns into a stream of energy and becomes part of two portals, flowing from one to the other. And, the more mana the object has, the harder this transition is. It shouldn't be a problem for me, though, considering I'm the one who makes the teleport work.

And I've already got some ideas for such mechanics. Is it possible to use it without the teleport itself? Turning the body into energy to move quickly in real space? That's something to think about. But, that's something I'll just have to do later.

In the meantime.

- Ruijed, come on, I need your help.

Supard just nodded and quietly followed me.

I have to test the possibility of teleporting humanoid intelligent beings. And Ruijed, well, it's not that it's not pathetic anymore, but it can still be used for experiments.

- What do I have to do?

- Just stand on that slab.

Ruijed sighed, but he complied. Afterwards, I'll move it, just like the mouse.

- It's..." He widened his eyes.

- How does it feel?

- I'm... fine. Was it teleportation magic?

- Yeah. But I wasn't sure it would work. - Sigh.

And eventually, after doing another series of experiments on the supard, I decided to try it myself. Although, we're from different nations, but that shouldn't make much difference. Teleport can move animals and inanimate objects alike. I had no trouble with it. Except that it took longer because of my amount of mana. While Ruijed's teleportation was almost instantaneous, my own teleportation took several minutes.

It felt even stranger than normal sorcery. And I tried to remember it well. Perhaps I could still use this experience somehow in the future. In the meantime, after making sure that I can teleport myself, I'll proceed to the next stage.

Namely.

The parchment was rolled up and placed in the grimoire case, then sent to Roxy along with the note. That way she didn't have to draw the circle herself. Only to find a deserted place with no witnesses, then unfold the already prepared form. She must have been quite impressed to be given such an assignment. After all, teleportation magic is indeed something extremely rare, an ancient art of warlocks from legends.

And so, a few hours later, I receive a reply from my sorceress.

"I've done everything you asked. Is it sure it will work?"

I could sense some excitement in the girl's handwriting. I could just picture the dazed face she had with as she hesitantly wrote that short note. And, in fact, my next answer, that everything should work out, was given to the girl through the teleport itself. Yes, of course, I did not hurry to personally move, first sent the note, then the summoned mouse.

Unfortunately, Roxy couldn't activate the portal herself and send the items back to me. But she wrote a new note telling me that it worked. Alas, even if the question is about the magic circle, teleportation magic is not so simple. One must have at least some experience in the matter to be able to use such circles. And Roxy, it wasn't that she couldn't use a circle at all, rather, she was simply afraid of making a mistake. But, with the form already prepared, any mage could learn to use teleport circles if they wanted to. Even Eris could be taught to do so. Technically, it's no more difficult than using any other magic circle.

Well, after we got the animals sorted out, I sent Ruijed through intercontinental teleportation.

And I think.

Something went wrong.

At this time, in the central continent....

Roki held the sheet with the note with trembling hands. In her mind, a single thought was frantically banging against the walls of her skull. Supard! The girl had never seen either of them in her life. But the stories of her parents were embedded intentionally in the mind of the then little girl.

"If you go too far from home, you'll be eaten by a supard!"

"If you stay up late, the supard will come and eat you!"

"If you marry someone other than Daddy, the supard will come and eat you!"

Basically, ever since she was a little girl, the supards were the bababird that Roxy was scared of by her parents. And then, before she could fully comprehend the note she was reading, the magic circle flashed with light and a tall man with green hair and a scarlet stone in the middle of his forehead appeared in the middle of the forest where she had placed the parchment.

- I-" he began.

- S-supard! - Roxy shrieked.

Ruijed watched as the sorceress learnt the skill of instant teleportation without studying the subject itself. One moment she was on the ground in front of him, and the next moment the pale girl was already somewhere behind the trees. But, for the supard himself, such a reaction was not something unexpected. And, in order not to frighten the sorceress even more, he simply stepped away from the circle and sat down near the tree, folding his hands in front of him, and all his appearance tried to embody calmness, waiting for Roxy to come to her senses and remember about the experiment.

Meanwhile, on the demonic continent....

I was beginning to worry. After moving the supard, Roxy hadn't responded for about ten minutes now, even though before, during previous experiments, I had received a response almost immediately. Although, the group window was showing that the girl was fine....

Wait...

Health is fine

Mana - royal level sorceress.

Strongest skill - water magic

Mood - pissed herself in fear

Note - she's very afraid of the Supards!

It's all falling into place.

Yes, the supards have a bad reputation, but honestly, I didn't expect it to be this bad. No, really? Did you pee your pants?

At first I thought I'd just wait for the girl to get over it. But then I started to think about taking a chance and teleporting myself. Judging from the note at Roxy's status, the supard did indeed teleport. Nevertheless, after almost half an hour, I nevertheless received a reply.

"The teleportation subject is alive and fully intact, the experiment was a success."

The note was rather terse and it felt somewhat detached, as if Roxy had put her feelings about this aside. And yet, if she was that scared, it's even kind of nice that she found the strength to deal with that fear for the sake of helping us. But, let's not forget that it was my mistake, after all. I just didn't expect such a reaction from my sorceress.

And then, finally, it was my turn.

The familiar feeling of teleportation, as if your physical sensations fade into the background and you become a stream of energy that swirls into a vortex of singularity. It seems as if your self is stretching through the universe. Ordinary people do not even have time to feel it when teleporting, everything happens too fast for them. For me, the process took many minutes, after which....

Poon!

I jumped out of the portal in the middle of the forest.

- Rudy! - I heard Roxy's cheerful voice.

While I was recovering from my dizziness and newfound body senses, the sorceress came closer and hugged me tightly.

- Ohhh, Roxy, I missed you too. - I hug her back.

It's true. After all this time, it felt so good to hug her. A lingering feeling of pleasant relief settled in my heart that our separation was over. As I pressed her slender body against me, I felt the girl's heartbeat and her warmth. It felt like something familiar and I just wanted to stop the moment. Or just never let Roxy go anywhere, ever again. Yeah, all these feelings are taking a serious toll on my musculature, and my eyes are watering, and I don't know how to stop it.

- What-" Roxy wondered.

Pulling away, she noticed me using magic to dry the tears that had protruded.

- Um... - I felt really embarrassed.

- Rudy, are you crying?

- What? No, of course not.

I'm just trying to look away from Roxy's eyes.

- Are you really so happy to see me? - She smiled softly.

- I don't know what you mean... ahem... yeah, I still need to check if there was some effect of teleportation magic on my body that I didn't notice.

Having said that, I use healing magic on myself. May not heal anything, but the very application of the spell allows me to assess the condition of my body. But, everything was fine. After still checking the system map. Now there were also reflected teleport marks. And, interestingly enough, they were interactive.

By focusing on a marker, I could select it and....

Use that teleport?

Somehow, the system happened to be connected to my teleportation network. And you didn't have to set up a portable teleporter on parchment to use it. You could travel from anywhere. Although, the mobile teleporter is still useful if I need to summon someone to me. And it could also be used as a template for setting up new teleporters.

And, yes, Roxy and I tested the new feature when we travelled to the migurd village together.

Well, it's not like the enchantress was thinking about returning to her homeland, she was interested in the teleportation itself. And she wanted to see the first platform.

- Unbelievable... you did it, didn't you? - The blue-haired sorceress looked at me.

- Yeah. You know I got the teleportation book, right?

Although, even with one book on summoning magic, one day, I could get to the teleportation circles myself. But it would have taken much longer. In a way, it's just world-class cheating. While whole countries, powerful organisations and ancient heroes keep the secrets of their unusual types of magic and the strongest spells, the system just gives me the right literature to study as a reward for all sorts of cool tasks, like meeting my fiancée's parents. However, I still need to study all this and deal with the issue, the system itself will not learn new spells for me and will not understand their theoretical basis.

But, in any case, it is better not to spread the word that I have such books. In fact, I'm in no hurry to publicise the fact that I use teleportation magic. The fact that Ruijed knows about it might be a problem, though. I can still kill him easily, though. And he doesn't seem like the kind of demon who'd divulge such secrets. Well, I've already hidden the teleportation slab. To get out of here, you'll have to use earth magic, or a teleporter. Because there's no normal passage to the surface.

Which brings up another little problem.

- By the way, don't you want to meet your parents? - I ask Roxy.

Looking at me, the girl raised her eyebrows in a pitying way.

- I don't think that's a good idea. - She sighed.

- Yeah, well, I wouldn't want to reveal the teleportation. The fewer people who know about it, the better. But still, it's your parents. When I talked to them, I could see that they love you very much. And they're worried about you.

- Maybe later. To be less suspicious.

She seems to be using it more as an excuse not to go home. Perhaps she's embarrassed because she doesn't have telepathy like the other migurds. After all, she tells me that it pressured her in her home village.

- Your parents are my family now too, well, in a way... - I stretched out - I don't think they'll run to tell everyone about teleportation. But, okay, if you don't want to, I won't insist.

- Thank you. I'd rather wait here while you go get Eris and Norn.

- Yeah, sure. - I nodded.

I didn't go to Asura to get Ruijed. To be honest, teleportation is amazing, but it's not the most pleasant process for me. It's dizzying and a slight feeling of nausea. I don't want to do it too often unless it's necessary.

In the meantime...

Wait, no, as long as the girls are safe and Roxy and I are alone here...

- But first, Roxy, it's been so long since I've seen you.

- What are you... - The girl was embarrassed when I hugged her again.

But, this time the hug was a little more vulgar than the other time. Grabbing the sorceress by the waist, with my other hand I ran my other hand around her waist and, lowering my palm, rubbed the girl's bottom. And finally, leaning towards the sorceress, I kissed her soft lips.

And we, by the way, now we are almost the same height with her. No, I'm even a little taller.

- Rudy... do we have time for this? - Breathing heavily, Roxy asked when I pulled away from her lips.

- Right now, we do have a little time....

I kissed her again.

We hadn't even undressed completely. Roxy had just enough to pull up her dress and pull down her panties to get to her gates of heaven. Well, my suit unzipped in two at the waist, top and bottom, and then you could just pull my trousers down.

Anyway, before I went to get Eris and Norn, we stayed in the cave for another half hour or so. Though, I'm not sure that made up for any of my waiting since we got separated last time.

- Roxy...

- Yes, Rudy?

- When we get back to Asura, why don't we form a team? Like adventurers.

- Huh? The girl was surprised.

- Although, I'll have a starting rank... but that's okay, right? Although, I have to find my relatives first, but then I'd like to go on an adventure with you....

- Oh... you're about...

- Yeah, I remember. - I grinned. - In fact, back when I was still living in Bueno, the system gave me your romantic fantasies and gave me the task of going on an adventure. And, you know, I liked the idea.....

Oh, how wonderful.

While I was talking, Roxy casually put on her hat. It had come off earlier when we were having our debauchery here. And now she'd pulled it down low, trying to hide the traitorous blush.

- Although... finding people across continents is kind of an adventure, too. Maybe not as romantic as you wanted it to be... but still. And then we'll definitely go on a dungeon tour.

- Y-yes... okay. - Roxy's voice trembled.

- Okay, you wait here while I go get Eris and Norn.

And before I left, I kissed Roxy once more. I pressed her up against the wall and forcefully placed a passionate kiss on her lips. I also stroked her little mounds under her clothes. But still, he found the strength to tear himself away from the girl and, having created a spell of transformation of the earth, created for himself a passage upstairs. Even built a ladder.

And nothing had changed in the migurd village. It was the same as yesterday, and the same as a week ago. And probably the same as it was years before we arrived. In fact, I've noticed the same thing in Bueno. In such small villages, it's as if time itself flows differently, more measured and calm. Some peasants don't even know how old they are. They just don't ask themselves that question and don't count months and years. They think in slightly different ways. They do not count time, but wait for the time when it is time to sow the fields, when to harvest. They live from one season to the next. Here, among the Migurds, it was felt even more keenly. Probably because the Migurds themselves live longer. You look at this settlement and you're sure that if you came back here in a hundred years, or even a thousand, it would be exactly the same.

There's one thing that worries me, though.

Namely, the numbers of the Migurds. Their people are literally a couple of villages on the entire demonic continent. If something happens, their race could practically die out. They'd just be loners scattered around the world. Yeah, I'm already thinking about how to increase the number of long-lived loli people.

Well, maybe I'll think about it later. But not right now.

Right now, I'm heading straight to Rovin and Rokari's house.

- Ha!

And there, near the house itself, Eris was actively swinging the sword I gave her. The girl was diligently practising the techniques that Gilen had shown her earlier. On the sidelines, Norn was watching her closely. My little sister's eyes sparkled with admiration. She seemed to enjoy fencing. By the way, I had once started my first training around this age. Flexibility exercises and learning techniques. Something suitable for children's training as well.

- Eris, Norn. - I'm coming out to the girls. - Get ready, we're leaving.

- Huh? My little sister looked at me.

- Finally! Eris cheered up.

- Now, we'll say goodbye to Rokari and Rovin, and we'll be off. You can pack.

They had almost nothing on them, though.

Only Norn had a new travelling cloak that Roxy's mother had given her.

- So you're leaving already... - Rokari was even upset.

Rovyn didn't show any particular emotion about it.

- Yes, thank you for your hospitality. If there's anything I can do to repay you, just let me know.

- Ohhh... no, nothing at all. - The woman smiled.

- Perhaps you would like to give something to Roxy?

- Oh, and you could use your magic... to pass her lunch?

- Hmm?

- I just thought... that Roxy might be pleased if I made the soup she loved as a child....

- That's a good idea. - Nodded I. - If it won't take too long, let's do that.

- Thank you!

Well, I could tell right away that Roxy was indeed pleased.

It took a little less than an hour to cook, though, after which I put the covered bowl away in my inventory and, finally picking up the girls, headed for the teleportation point.

- Rudeus... please tell Roxy that she is always welcome. - Asked Rokari as she escorted us to the edge of the village.

- If she returns to the demon lands, have her stop by and see us. - Added Rowyn.

- Of course, I'll tell them. - Nodding to them.

I hesitated a bit. Maybe I should have called them with me, to let them meet Roxy. But, since the girl herself didn't want to, I shouldn't. Besides, the teleport circle will stay here, and the sorceress can come back later. Though will she want to? Well, if she doesn't, I'll try to talk her into it. Her parents are good demons and it would be a shame if they never got to meet their daughter.

- Again, thank you for everything.

- Take care.

Even the girls somehow became quiet, looking at the migurds with sadness. Even though they didn't understand each other's speech, they could feel Rokari's homely concern and Rovin's slight worry. But in the end, we were to return home and be reunited with family. Albeit not right away.

- So, where do we go from here, Rudy? Eris asks.

- You'll see. - I smiled. - Something I've been working on lately... it might solve some of our problems.

It didn't take long to get to the cave and soon we were coming down to the teleport site.

- What is this place? Some kind of hiding place?

- Something like that. - With a wave of my hand, I close the passage behind us.

- Ah..." Eris stared at Roxy in surprise.

The blue-haired sorceress was perched on a rock, reading a book, waiting for me to return.

- Rudy..." She smiled. - Eris. And Norn. It's good to see you again.

Nodding, Roxy stood up, putting the book away in her inventory.

- What? From where? - My first wife was perplexed.

- Let me explain. - You have my word. - I mastered teleportation magic and created a portal in this place.

I slammed my hand on the transport plate.

- Teleportation? - The girl's mouth gaped open.

Norn, on the other hand, was just looking around. She didn't understand why Eris was so surprised.

- Yes, though, there were only two teleporters online right now. Here and in Asura. But the one in Asura is mobile and can be moved from place to place. Anyway, that way we can get home.

- That's... great! - The girl cheered up. - So we can go straight there? Although, I was already hoping for an adventure.....

- I see. - Well, maybe we'll have an adventure with you. But right now, I want to ask both of you, Eris, Norn....

- Yes?

- Don't tell anyone about the teleportation. If anyone asks, the disaster has transported us to another place on the central continent. We'll work out the details later. But it's best no-one knows about teleportation. It's forbidden magic and it can be very dangerous.

- Why? - Norn was surprised.

- Yes, why is it forbidden? - Eris frowned.

- Because with the help of teleport, for example, you can move an entire army to another continent in a matter of hours. This magic changes the rules of war dramatically.

- I don't understand...

Eris frowned even more.

- Well, the kings don't like the idea of an enemy army suddenly appearing near their capital, so the rulers of different countries have agreed not to use teleportation magic and have banned its study. So, let it remain our secret.

- Good. - Nodded the girl.

- Norn, you won't tell anyone about the teleports, will you?

The little girl shook her head negatively.

- 'No-no.

- Good. Then, get up on that slab. Roxy, you too. We're going back to Asura.

At this point, I thought, what if something happened to the portal on the other side? Parchment isn't as solid a foundation as stone. But, if the circle was broken, I just won't find his address in the portal system. I've already tested this in a series of experiments. So the concern was more about whether we'd be cut off from the continent again. I'd have to ask Sylphie for help. And she's, like, at the royal palace right now.

But, the portal was fine and we teleported to the central continent safely.

Except that the girls got worried when they realised it was taking me longer to teleport myself. But Roxy calmed them down by telling them that it was the same with me last time.

- I just have too much mana, so teleporting takes longer. - I explained to them when I arrived at the location. - Oh, that's right Roxy, look in the inventory for a bowl in one of my cells.

- Yeah... what's that?

- Mum made you some soup and asked me to give it to you. She hoped you'd like it.

- Ah... ohhhh... that's how it is... - Even confused a bit by the sorceress.

But I got the bowl.

And so that she wouldn't eat alone, I created a stone table with stools by magic and got more food from my inventory.

- Eris, Norn, would you like to eat?

- Yes! - The swordswoman immediately agreed.

Norn only nodded in agreement.

I thought I'd invite Ruijed too. But Roxy's still scared of him. So, I made him a separate table in the side.

And the sorceress had already begun her meal. And though she tried the first spoonful not very confidently, but after she tasted it, she began to eat more actively. It seems that Rokari was right. After a little more time, Roxy turned away, trying to do the same trick I'd done with her tears with magic. So she misses her parents too. Well, then, I'll really have to arrange for them to meet unless she decides to do it herself.

So, teleportation magic has shortened our journey home quite a bit.

But now we still have to find our relatives.

Attention!

The mission has been changed

Helping loved ones

Your wife's family and your family too! Especially if you are aristocrats. Find your missing relatives!

Hilda Boreas Greyrat - Milis continent

Cyrus Boreas Greyrat - central continent.

Reward: The gratitude of the Boreas.

I didn't even immediately realise what exactly had changed.

Then I did!

Philip's name had disappeared from the list...

So there's no need to look for him anymore. And something tells me it's not because he somehow found himself. The mission was for me to be the one to find him. I suppose even if he had returned to Fittoa, I still needed to meet him, or at least find out his exact whereabouts. As it is...

It's best not to jump to conclusions.

But there's a good chance Philip's dead.

After all, we've been scattered all over the world. And who knows where he might have ended up. In the middle of a forest full of monsters. It's a very unpleasant scenario, which makes me even more worried about those who are yet to be found. I hope nothing terrible happens to Zenith, Lilya and Aisha. But I definitely need to find them soon.
