I'm really in the Doraemon!?

[Note: The system will make its appearance in Chapter 10.] As an average individual, I never imagined that the cliché trope of a truck, often seen in otaku culture, would be the means to transport me into a parallel universe. Initially, I believed that my new surroundings were merely another version of reality, a parallel world. However, much to my surprise, I found myself in the universe of Doraemon—a beloved anime and comic from my previous life. (Note: There will be some difference in novel's timeline and the canon, to have a stable pace. Due to the canon have inconsistent timeline in every episode since it's a kids comics and it almost have the same pace as Detective Conan.) (Read advance chapters in Patreon.com/NewComer714.)

Nobita The Spoiler

"I am Dekisugi. It's a pleasure to meet all of you," Dekisugi said with a gentlemanly smile.

This guy seems to have the 'Gentleman' and 'Smart Boy' starter pack.

"Hello," Shizuka nodded in greeting and introduced herself.

Nobita wasn't thrilled; he didn't like this Dekisugi guy. Handsome and seemingly kind, Nobita had an aversion to him. Especially when he saw his crush smile back at Dekisugi – it felt like a rival had suddenly appeared. He didn't mind Ken, as Ken had saved him from Takeshi before, but Dekisugi? Nobita just didn't like him.

Ken looked thoughtfully at Nobita.

It appeared that Nobita's inferiority complex was acting up much earlier this time. I wasn't sure when Nobita had developed these negative traits, but signs of them were showing.

Seriously, this protagonist became a protagonist precisely because of how flawed and incompetent he is.

Because right now, though Dekisugi deserved to be the protagonist...

Well, Dekisugi didn't really need a Doraemon to assist him in life since he was capable on his own. However, if Dekisugi were to be the protagonist, the show would probably be boring. After all, Dekisugi's life likely revolved around studying, reading books, and similar activities. He wasn't like Jimmy Neutron inventing cosmic-level creations that would affect reality itself.

Dekisugi was just an ordinary, highly intelligent person – too good, in fact. A complete contrast to Nobita. They were like Yin and Yang, negative and positive, bad and good, haha.

"Hello, Shizuka-chan. It's a pleasure to meet you," Dekisugi greeted Shizuka with a smile, then turned to Nobita to greet him politely.

Nobita didn't want to show his negative side to Shizuka, so he reluctantly greeted Dekisugi and shared his name.

Afterwards, Dekisugi turned to me, and I greeted him in return.

"Try this cookie, Dekisugi-san," Shizuka offered the cookie to Dekisugi, and he kindly accepted.

"Not bad," Dekisugi nodded.

...

The class began, and after some time, it came to an end.

Nobita walked out of the classroom, and his mom was already waiting for him outside the school.

Nobita waved at Shizuka and me, then held his mother's hand.

Shizuka also spotted her parents; she nodded at me before walking over to them.

She glanced back at me discreetly, wondering why I was alone and didn't have parents to pick me up. Worriedly, she asked, "Ken-chan, are you heading home alone?"

"My house is just nearby, don't worry," I reassured her. Shizuka's house was probably closer.

Shizuka nodded and joined her parents.

After she took her parents' hands, her father teased her, causing her to blush.

I shook my head and decided it was time to go home.

...

At my house, as usual, my parents ask about my school life.

After dinner, I went to sleep in my room.

In the blink of an eye, morning arrived.

I had breakfast and prepared to go to school.

At school, Suneo joined our circle of friends, and his bragging was quite evident. Even Shizuka's smile was twitching.

Takeshi also joined after Suneo, and this big boy decided to let go of the past and get along with us. But oh boy, just a few days later, he was still taking advantage of Nobita's weaknesses. Takeshi's shamelessness had no limits; he joined the circle of friends to exploit everyone, not just Nobita. Even Suneo, with his big mouth that takes pleasure in Nobita's misfortunes, was taken advantage of by Takeshi, although he somehow managed to handle the situation with the big guy.

Despite Shizuka's reprimands, Takeshi ignored her and even tried to take advantage of me. He was mistaken, thinking he could exploit me just because I allowed him to bully Nobita. With just a glare from me, he got scared. Did he think he could manipulate me, even though I let him take advantage of Nobita or the narcissistic brat, Suneo?

Strangely, when I'm near Takeshi, he becomes silent or polite, as if meeting his nemesis.

After a few days, Nobita was oddly quiet. Even Takeshi didn't bother him, and he didn't daydream when he saw Shizuka. He didn't even utter a word when Suneo bragged about his luxurious life.

The friends somehow sensed the atmosphere around Nobita. I looked at Takeshi, and he quickly shook his head.

Out of concern, I asked Nobita about his behavior, as it wasn't normal for someone like him to act that way. When Nobita explained the reason, I realized it was a natural reaction.

When I informed the friends about Nobita's sadness, they sympathized with him. Takeshi even gave Nobita his favorite eraser, and Suneo consoled him by offering his notebook with a popular cartoon cover. Shizuka didn't have anything to offer at the moment, but she gave him her cookies.

Everyone was kind to Nobita. After all, he had just lost a loved one, his grandma.

As they tried to cheer Nobita up, I suddenly noticed something when I looked out the window. Two figures were floating high in the sky, seemingly observing them.

Could it be... them?

Of course, who else could it be if not them, right? I chuckled while observing the two.

One of them appeared to be wearing glasses, while the other was a short blue raccoon-cat, clearly robotic.

...

"Why is Ken-chan looking our way? Did he spot us!? Let's hide!" Nobita hurriedly pulled Doraemon and flew away.

Doraemon was touched by the sincerity of his friends as he was being pulled away.

"Is that Ken-chan you're talking about, Nobita?" Doraemon asked.

This was the first time he had seen Ken.

"Yes! When we were in grade 1, Ken-chan's family moved overseas. And the reason I wanted to come here after time traveling was to see my friend's face. It's been a long time, after all." Nobita nodded and explained.

Doraemon nodded.

Meanwhile, Nobita was unaware that he had just dropped a spoiler.
