Was it just a dream?

when he opened his eyes he was back in his bed the one from the movie-

he didn't leave he was still in it- but that was a dream, right?

he remembered everything and tears came down his eyes it felt so real

when the maid came by she walked in and asked what was wrong

"I had a nightmare auntie amelia" he replied

she wiped his tears and hugged him tight

"It's alright dear I'm here now" she replied

he hugged her back and when he calmed down she asked him about the dream

"it was about a boy I -think-I-I- loved him but I couldn't tell him because I was scared and I- broke his heart-I tried to tell him but in the end, I only made it worse-" he replied

"I think that means that you should tell him even if you're scared otherwise you'll regret it" she replied

so he took her advice and now he was kissing him

Darrison's eyes widen but he pushed back and passionately kissed him

Mabil felt his heartbeat and kissed back their tongues wrapped around each other pulling back and forth he never wanted it to end but it did

he looked down at Mabil

"Mabil- does that mean you like me too?" he replied

Mabil's eyes widen when he pronounced his name right

"I-you said my name right-" Mabiel replied

"Well, I was just teasing you before, and be honest this time" he replied

"this time? what do mean by that? was that not a dream?" Mabil replied

"it-it- wasn't that was real-Mabil-but, please tell me-" he replied

"I-I--" Love you- Mabil wasn't able to get those words out

then everything faded away and when he opened his eyes

he was back in the room full of corpses and next to him laid an unconscious Darri

he shook him but there was no response he put his head on his chest he was still breathing but very faintly and he could hear his heartbeat

he wasn't dead- he was glad- and he closed his eyes

when he opened them he was back in his bed

was that just a dream? there was a knock on the door

"young master are you awake? the boy that was with you he asked for you" the maid replied

his eyes widened

Darri?! he was here?!

so it wasn't a dream?!

"is he alright? and you said that he asked for me?" he replied

"he looked pretty badly beaten up but he's doing alright he's in the best care

and he wanted to see you once you woke up" she replied

"alright then take me to him" he replied

"not so fast you need to wash up your clothes are bloody and there's a fresh pair of clothes" she replied

so he went to the bathroom and washed up

he got dressed he put on his dress shirt and buttoned it up and tied his bow tie

he put on his shorts with his spenders he chomed his hair pulled up his ankle high socks and tied his shoes

all of this was a bit much but he always had to be presentable

when he came out auntie amelia was proud

she took him to Darrison

he was in the bed and when he saw him he smiled up at him

"Mabil-" he replied

Mabil hugged him tight

"Darri! I'm so sorry!" Mabil sobbed

"hey don't apologize you saved my life-" he replied

"but you still got hurt-and I didn't stop them right away-" Mabil replied

"hey-don't worry I'll heal up in no time" he replied

"what if you never get better?"Mabil replied

"then maybe you should kiss me" he replied

"What?!" Mabil shouted

"did you not want to? did you forget about the kiss?" he replied

"I-I-thought that was a dream-" Mabil replied

"it sort of was-but we shared it-" he replied

"we shared that dream?!" Mabil shouted

"yeah you were going to tell me something-before you disappeared" he replied

"I-I-I can't-at least not now-but I'm glad that your alive I was so worried that I lost you" Mabil replied

"Mabil-I- was scared that I lost you too- and I didn't think that you cared anymore" he replied

"I'm so sorry darri- for everything I said-and I wish I could have said those words you wanted me to" Mabil replied

"Mabil-what are talking about?" he replied

"Darri I love you" Mabil replied

his eyes widened

"do you truly mean that?" he replied

"Yes- do you want me to kiss you to prove it?" Mabil replied

"Ha- Mabil- you're getting bold now- and you know that I would like that" he replied

Mabil leaned in and passionately kissed him Darri rolled his eyes back and let him take lead he wiggled his tongue around

suddenly the maid walked in her eyes widen seeing Mabil like this

"Mabil! get off him! No making out with the patient!" she shouted

he jumped back immediately

"But Ma-auntine Ameila he asked me to-and I love him" he replied

"still no- he's still recovering and you can do all that when he's fully recovered" she replied

"do-what? it was just kissing" he replied

"I-I thought you would know as a teenage boy-" she replied

"Please not that speech auntine ameila- we weren't doing anything like that" he replied

"but you might in the future-and I want you to be prepared- and it's never good to rush things-" she replied

"AUNt AMeila!-Leave now!" he shouted

her eyes widened and she turned away and left

"Pfft-did she just try to give you speech about sex?" he replied

"Yes-she's basically like my mother and she's very overprotective and she jumps to these assumptions-" Mabil replied

"so you wouldn't do it with me?" he replied

Mabil's eyes widened

"Darri!-No-I mean- Maybe? but not until you're fully recovered!" Mabil shouted

"So that's a yes then?" he replied

"I-I-don't know- I'm not sure if I want that-but maybe in the future" Mabil replied

"alright I can be patient we don't want to rush things" he replied

"Darri!-" Mabil shouted

"what? we should listen to your aunt- she's wise beyond her years" he replied

"She's not actually my aunt I just call her that as a formality but you probably are right about that-" Mabil replied

"Oh-she's the maid isn't she?" he replied

"Yes-she's our one and only trusted maid-we used to have more but-I killed them I think-" Mabil replied

"What?! did you eat their eyes too?!" He shouted

"eyes? why would? oh- is that what happened to the bullies?" Mabil replied

"do you have no memory of it?" he replied

"Well it's hard to have a memory when I'm not the one in control I always see the after effect" Mabil replied

"oh- this was the monster you told me about before right? and you said that a girl could tame it?" he replied

"well that's what I thought at the time but now I realize that it's you" Mabil replied
