Chapter 23 : unsettled info

"where am I?" said Nevata as she found herself in an puzzling place.

She could hear a little girl's laughter around the place, which seemed to be within the library.

At the huge desk made of a special type of mineral. There he was, a life and breathing Aggrwill writing something into a book.

Nevata walked closer and tried to have a peak at what he was jotting down into the book but then could only see blurred images of unique fonts being inscribed into the book, but one thing was certain.

This was the same book that Nevata had found when she was probing the entire tree house while cleaning it. The same book that took her blood and had changed her right eye into something else with inscribed patterns.

The little girl had run and teleported into her dad's arms, halting him from his work. "Daddy what are you doing" the little girl inquired trying to prey into what her dad was doing "dad and what are these flying texts for...?"

Nevata noticed something odd... the young girl had no face to begin with. As Nevata tried to narrow her eyes to have a sharper image.

Suddenly, "wake up!" commanded Aggrwill in a cold and commanding tone.

This jolted Nevata back to reality "Huh...?" she quickly got up, her eyes adjusting to her environment.

Aggrwill on the other hand noticed alot of tears had dried up on her face. "go freshen up my dau..."

Nevata nodded, quickly getting up and walking out of the library "wait" commanded Aggrwill.

Prompting Nevata to turn to his direction.

"use the stirs, it leads to the tree house don't forget that again" he added and vanished into the thin air.

Nevata then used the huge, long stirs and kept climbing until she had reached the top, panting out of breath and was met with an old door which looked huge and sturdy.

She saw no handles, so she tried pushing the door but as she pushed the door felt more like pushing a rock, reminding herself to use her brain, she halted and saw an ancient runic symbol inscribed on the door.

As she concentrated, narrowing her eyes on the runes trying to understand and read it.

The runes became blurred, so she tried blinking and that was when the runes started igniting and turning off according to her number of blinks.

That's when she had an idea and closed her left eye and left her patterned eye open which ignited the runes.

"it responds to my right eye" she said as the runes quickly became readable.

"....." she said as the door opened to her command.

She opened the door and entered the place and realized that it brought her into the blacksmith room.

"so this is where it leads to, it means he could have captured us anytime he wanted" she added and went on to her bathroom within her bedroom.

The she saw that someone had already fetched water into her bathing barrel, knowing who is was, she payed no mind and went on to dip the tip of her finger to test the temperature of the hot water.

Then took off her leather cloths and slowly dipped her body into the water starting from her smooth white legs to her body which turned her colour into a little pinkish red, signifying her body absorbing the warmth of the warm water.

"arhhhhhhhhh..., this feels so good" she said to herself with a relaxed expression, which quickly reverted back to a sad expression.

"I wonder how Oric is feeling right now" she added.

"Don't worry my child, he is doing fine" said Aggrwills voice.

This startled Nevata as she probed the area and realized that no one was there, "telepathy" she came to a realization.

"That means My pact with Oric has been tempered with...."

"When you are done wear the dress that I kept on your bed and meet me at the dinner table" he said with telepathy.

"When Nevata was done taking her bath, she saw an already prepared towel, but refused to use it to dry herself and went to look on her bed "Im not wearing this type of dress" she scoffed at Aggrwills fashion sense and wore the Lether cloths that Oric had made for her.

She checked herself in the mirror and went to the dining table where Aggrwill was siting "is it just me or did this place get bigger" she said to herself.

As she wasn't joking, the entire place had shown her the ability to enlarge itself into a castle and reshape reality inside of itself.

"That means time could run in here differently from the outside world if he wanted to" she said.

"You are still as smart as ever my daughter, but you forget that I can hear your thoughts" Aggrwill complemented her.

"Stop calling me that fath...!" quickly she held her words in shock.

"I just called him my father again?" she said in thought angrily.

Nevata felt lost in the tree house which now looked like a castle internally "on your left" he commanded.

Quickly she turned to her left and saw a huge door with no handles, so she went closer and used her right eye to open it.

when she opened it she saw Aggrwill siting like a god at the end of the table filled with unique dishes.

"sit"

Quickly! Nevata sat down at the other end of the table.

"eat, I've got all of these expensive dishes for you my daughter" he exclaimed.

Slowly nevata probed the huge, packed table with all the unique dishes that looked alien to her then looked at the one right Infront of her with suspicious eyes.

"Go on, why would I poison my own daughter?"

After that last push Nevata sticked a fork crafted from unique materials and used a table knife to help cut the food and took a bit of the food and started to chew it slowly.

"hmm?"

"its g...good?" said Nevata confused but at the same time enjoying the taste and continued "well looks like it tastes better than it looks."

"its your favorite, remember?" asked Aggrwill

"well its not my favorite food but I've taken a liking to it" she said.

"so why didn't you wear the dress I ordered you to wear."

"well I don't really know but I've gotten attached to the things that my master gave me" she said

"Hush! my child, he isn't worthy to be your master" shouted the monster.

"But you know it, he is my mas..."

"Enough, child he doesn't deserve you, training begins tomorrow. you are free to have as much rest as you want today but don't think it's going to be easy because you can die, goodnight" Aggrwill said and again vanished into the thin air

"but I just woke up? how is it... oh and here he goes without alerting me" she said as she went and opened the windows and noticed it was nighttime.

"its actually nighttime, looks like I was right all along time works differently here, well I have to sleep then " she said
