136. Deity is back!

Klaus had returned to the royal capital, but opposite to his excitement and expectations he was directly chosen as one of representatives of Genesis Academy for the Global competition that was being held this year

Their Swordsmanship techniques are said to be comparable with the royal knights of the Royal family...

Klaus grinned and next moment Reus and Pette rushed against each other with their swords

Reus and Pette shook each other's hands and left the stage on friendly terms

Klaus on the other hand who watched everything looked surprised like the whole audience

Reus came down from the stage and was surrounded by many kids and his friends

As Klaus was already selected he was sitting in the audience seat at a distance which was almost empty

Various red faces of girls were seen all across the place, after that Klaus continued taking little notes according to the duel Reus had

Klaus nodded and after Reus many more students also fought against each other but it wasn't much interesting

All of them struggled against their opponents and it took a lot of time for the fights as they kept struggling till the end

Klaus felt very bored and he even fell asleep between those duels until Cassie woke him up

Klaus immediately stood up and once again equipped his glasses and notebook and looked towards Sam with burning eyes

Sam looked like he was enjoying himself, and as his opponent was a sweet girl he even held back a lot

'He isn't showing full strength so it's little problematic to know his true abilities, but it seems he paid too much attention to magic

It's good thing but with such lousy physical abilities he might drag whole team...'

After him Yumiko, Anna and Ariana had their duels with other students

Klaus was impressed by their progress but he still continued to look through their shortcomings

'Yumiko has become really fast we might be able to use her as the main attacker and defender too...

Ariana relies too much on her family, she might really lose if some elite assassin attacked her in a duel and we couldn't help her...

After that duels continued, all the students who wanted to become representative of academy in global competition needed to fight with multiple opponents

We also need backup team members too, academy will take care of such things...'

As Klaus was walking quitely suddenly Reus and other friends also caught up to him

"Well Reus and Klaus will definately be on team so no need to worry!"

"I'm excited!"

"We will be traveling long distances hahaha!"

Klaus smiled and all of them made their way towards the announcement hall where the name of representatives will be announced

Before Klaus and his friends enter the hall there were already dozens of students already gathered there

After few minutes of wait the announcer came with list of names of those who were selected

As he entered the hall there was complete silence with few kids looking at him nervously

"As you all already know, the Academy had selected 7 representatives and 10 backup students in case there are any casualties during competition for the Global competition that will be held in 2 months

The names of representatives are Klaus De Whiteblood, Reus Ragnar, Sam Ridens, Yumiko Sakurachi, Ariana Grande, Anna Broadens and Pette Maguire!"

Klaus nodded and after that he looked towards Reus who looked genuinely happy and the arrogance was slowly rising

'Now the problem is being leader, I haven't attended academy for a while so it is very reasonable to make Reus who is friendly and popular with everyone as team leader

I will need to think about taking a leader position, or else these idiots won't ma-!'

Just as Klaus was thinking about that, the announcer continued

" ...And Klaus De Whiteblood will be the leader of the team, if you disagree you can challenge him in duel!"

Everyone in hall suddenly looked towards Klaus and then at announcer and sighed in their heart with one though

'Fuck you academy... You are just saying obey or die ..."

Klaus saw their facial expressions and grinned and suddenly shouted

It's been so many years since we met! You can order whatever you want the bill is on me!!!"

As Klaus said that all students cheered up and their faces brightened

Reus and others saw this and all of them left with Klaus, the announcer continued to announce names for back up students but Klaus and his friends had no more business there

'Kids are so simple... You get brought by simple food...'

Klaus grinned in 'Yare Yare' pose and smug, just as Klaus was lost in his thoughts he noticed Reus and other four watching him with weird gaze

'Fuck! That's embarrassing...'

"Ah! I was just cracking my neck hahaha..."

Klaus made an awkward laugh but from silence in place it was clear that it was too late to do anything

"Just think you never saw that..."

Klaus became quite awkward and after saying that he started walking again

"Hmm hmm!"

But as the universal law says, a friend isn't a true friend if he doesn't tease his friend, Reus and other four kept staring at Klaus with rabbit like smug face all day

From classroom, canteen and even when he was leaving

Klaus couldn't relax till he entered his carriage and on way to home

The fairies who were with Klaus for whole day also started teasing him by making weird rabbit like smug face and shrinked eyes

"Haha we won't tell anyone~"

"Just pretending it never happened~"

Klaus immediately caught each fairy with his bare hands and threw them out of his carriage

"Tch! Fucking kids..."

Klaus muttered in himself in silence but just he thought everything was over

Even Apollo started teasing him smug emoji on the system panel, Klaus couldn't take it anymore and cursed from the bottom of his heart
