Shen Xue and his assistant Tian Cheng walked out of the conference room leaving the other occupants of the room.

The Director in charge of artist management in Baiyu Studios Meng Ling, an attractive woman with shoulder-length jet black hair and rimless glasses.

She looked to be in her mid-thirties and was dressed in a dark red pantsuit and a much younger woman who was yet to be introduced.

"Hello welcome to Baiyu studios, please call me sister Ling. I can't stand the stuffy formality"

"This is Cai Jie, the head of our publicity department," she said, introducing the only other woman in the room.

"Hello, nice to meet you. please call me sister Jei. Since we'll be walking closely together, there's no need for formality"

"All the legal paperwork has been handled. we can move forward to the next point of business and that is deciding on the right strategy to better build your career.

"It's our job as your management team to help you grow in the industry and we can't do that without first finding out what you want.

"You started as a member of a girl group and you're a talented musician. I saw your audition video, a wonderful performance by the way. I saw what made Shen Xue and Lu Zhiyuan make you an offer.

This brings me to my billion-dollar question, which is... What direction would you like to go with your career" She said seating forward gently, her palms clasped tight on the table?

"I would like to venture into both kinds of music and acting" Liu Qiao Qiao replied.

"There's bound to be a backlash from your idol days so you will have to get yourself ready for whatever is thrown at you from the press, the public, and KM entertainment" Meng Ling cautioned.

"Your former bandmate, Liang Changchang will be releasing her second mini-album two weeks from now. We expect a huge public backlash as soon as the announcement of your signing under us is made public.

"Don't worry we are already brainstorming ideas to remedy that. Don't pay it any more mind and just focus on your work. We have everything handled.

"We'll release the article on our company website while you're filming so you won't have to worry about running into a paparazzi while that goes on," Cai Jie said.

Liu Qiao Qiao had no idea that Liang Changchang was releasing an album so soon this was news to her.

After the group disbanded Liang Changchang, Sunny, Fan Hanying, and Zeng Xuefeng had been signed under KM entertainment as solo artists.

Sunny had released an EP that had done very well. Zeng Xuefeng went into Acting but it was Liang Changying who had been the most successful of them all.

She had released her first mini-album with a few of the songs written by her. The album was so well received that two of the songs one of which were her originals made it to the top 10O song list for a few weeks.

Liang Changchang had a very solid fan base and had gotten a few notable Endorsements that made her among the list of KM entertainment's top artists.

"Okay got it" Liu Qiao Qiao replied

"you can get going. You will start your training tomorrow morning bright and early. See you then" Meng Ling said.

"I will see you off, can't you get lost now can we?" Xiaotong said, leading the way.

They walked out of the conference room and down the hall before finally arriving at the elevator.

"Oh that's right, Xiaotong, when would you be clocking out? Qinyang just sent me a text, she is back at the apartment. We are having dinner with mum and dad so we will be headed back home this afternoon.

. My dad just came back from a mission so we'll sleep over and come back early tomorrow morning" Liu Qiao Qiao said standing in front of the elevator doors waiting for the elevator to come down.

"I just have a meeting with Sister Meng Ling and Cai Jei. I should be back In a few hours I just have to transfer all my work with the production department to someone else but that won't take much time. I have my keys with me though so no need to worry about locking me out"

The elevator doors opened and Liu Qiao Qiao walked in and pressed in the bottom for the ground floor.

"I will see you soon," Liu Qiao Qiao said as the elevator door gently closed.

Shi Xiaotong stood for a few seconds then walked back into the conference room.

Sometime later Cai Jie was going through the stats of one of their shows currently airing when there was a knock on her office door.

"Come in," she said, looking up to see who it was.

"Sister Cai Jie I think I have an idea o_," Lin Lin said as she walked into the office.

"You think you have an idea... Have you forgotten what I said so early? Lin Lin, you either have an idea or you don't I can't have members of my team doubting themselves.
