"You have proven wiser than the rest, Azazel, in accepting that which cannot be fought. You and your fallen shall serve me well."
Josh with that same insidious smile.
Josh's eyes lingered on the floating figure of Gabriel, his tongue darting out to wet his lips in anticipation. He hungered for a taste of her milky flesh, eager to possess and consume her completely.
"My my~ Look at me, I made you cry, huh.." he purred, relishing in the power he held over her broken and grieving form.
Gabriel's tear-filled eyes met his, her body trembling with fear and loss.
*sob* 'Why..? f..father..? Brothers..?' She had lost everything - her beloved father, brothers, and all-angelic army - and now she was at the mercy of this twisted being before her.
"Shh... don't look at me with those sad eyes," Josh cooed, a cruel grin spreading across his face. "They turn me on~"
He gave a low, predatory growl as he circled her like a vulture eyeing its prey.
But as he looked at her tear-filled eyes, a sadistic thrill coursed through him. She was vulnerable, broken by the loss of everything she held dear. And he reveled in it.
"Now be a good girl and go to your Christian Heaven," he commanded in a psychotic voice. "Be ready in your God's room until I come for you."
"Waa..?" Gabriel wiped away her tears as she tried to look at him, confusion evident in her expression.
Her brain was not functioning like before. The weight of her loss was almost too much for her to bear.
"I said be ready," Josh sneered,
"I shall take you as my first bride in this world" snapping his fingers and sending Gabriel back to Heaven.
He had manipulated the very fabric of Quantum physics, using it to repel her particles from this plane and attract them to the one he had chosen as Heaven.
"Feels good..." And in that moment, Josh reveled in his newfound power as he had just ended the Great War within minutes.
It was just the beginning of his reign of terror and manipulation over all who dared to cross him.
Now that Gabriel was gone, Josh looked at Azazel and all his fallen angels behind him.
Azazel slightly trembled looking at his eyes and remembered that his new lord had praised him before talking to Gabriel.
He quickly lowered his head and replied to his previous praise.
"It's nothing but an honor your Majesty," Azazel said,
He had never in his life been a subordinate to someone.
He had always acted as God's companion till he had fallen for a human and became a fallen angel, so he didn't know how to act like one.
But he nonetheless will try his best to please his new master.
Josh chuckled seeing him trying to act as a servant.
Josh regarded Azazel with an appraising look. "You showed vision in bending your knee when others refused. For that, you shall be rewarded."
"I..Didn't do it for the reward—" Azazel tried saying but Josh just sent a layer and he stopped mid-sentence and lowered his head again.
'Hmm?'
Josh squinted his eyes looking at the fear-stricken fallen angels.
Their fear-stricken faces looked up at him, but they remained silent, not daring to speak out against the powerful being before them.
But as Josh gazed into their eyes, he could see more than just fear...
There was a hint of anger and defiance mixed in with their terror.
These foolish creatures were not just blindly cowering before him; they were still holding onto some sense of self-preservation.
Despite their foolishness, they still dared to feel anger towards Josh for how he was treating their ruler, Azazel.
*tsk tsk*
But Josh was not one to tolerate such insolence. He could handle the defiant and arrogant ones, but he had a solid allergy to the foolish ones.
Snap!
In an instant, Josh snapped his fingers and all the fallen angels collapsed to the ground, their lifeless bodies sprawled out like rag dolls.
Azazel, who had been trying so hard to appease his master, could already sense the emotions of his fallen brethren.
He gritted his teeth and remained in a kneeling position, knowing that any sign of rebellion would only lead to more severe punishment for him from his new master.
He wanted to save them, but not in the cost of his own life. Not after what he has seen him do.
'Oh!... interesting...' Josh was pleased by Azazel's action, with a gesture, Josh summoned all the fallen angels' essences that had been vanquished.
"Waa... your Majesty...?" The wraithlike souls swirled around Azazel as he watched in awe and fear.
"These, your brethren, shall strengthen you yet further. Their power is now yours alone to wield," said Josh.
Rumble*thunder*
The spirits plunged into Azazel's form amidst cracks of thunder.
"Agh! This.. is.. ugh!.." He threw back his head and screamed as divine energies surged within his vast frame, although he was powerful but all the life energies and powers of his whole army were too much for him.
"This... feeling..." When the light show subsided, Azazel stood taller - his wings now eclipsing the sun, might rippling off his reforged body.
Azazel closed his eyes and gasped at the manifestation of power he sensed inside him. He had thought that he was already supreme and could take on Lucifer or Uriel one-on-one and manage to be victorious.
Well, there was an ever-present doubt in his mind that maybe he was just being arrogant.
But now...
He felt a certainty... He was now certain that, if he fought even the God by himself- he'd win...
Many would think, what if he became cocky and tried to challenge Josh now..?
That was not the case, Azazel felt only unease at accepting the blessing of one who could annihilate worlds on a whim.
"Y..Your Majesty. Thank you..." He said and knelt again.
Josh smiled darkly. "You are my general now, Azazel. None in Heaven or Hell shall stand against your newfound strength. See that you use it to keep my name compliant."
As Azazel pondered his newfound power, a question arose. "Your Majesty, I..if I may ask - who are you..?"
Azazel asked as he had never seen someone as mighty and powerful as his new master who could end the Great War without even trying.
Josh considered. With his assumption of command over Heaven and Hell, a new title was in order. Thoughts of dominance, judgment, and darkness swirled within.
A name emerged that captured his vast ambition.
"From this day forth, you and all beneath my dominion shall refer to me as Osiris Draven Radovan," Josh— no, Osiris decreed.
The rumbling heavens echoed Osiris' proclamation across worlds.
"T..The Warlord who emerges from the Darkness to Judge all existence..! A splendid name Your Majesty!" Azazel praised his lord.
Listening to Azazel's words, Osiris cringed a little, but this was the ancient times so it was indeed a good name he had chosen for himself.
'Who cares..? If someone complains, I'll just have to visit their Moms in the night...' He thought.
Meanwhile...
The rumbling heavens echoed with the proclamation of Osiris, shaking worlds and stirring ancient beings from their slumber. In a hidden recess deep within the Earth, two magnificent dragons in their beautiful human forms awoke at the call of the new god.
Ddraig, with the scales on his skin shimmering like rubies in the dim light, gazed down at his partner nestled in his lap.
Albion's white hair and skin glowed softly against Ddraig's fiery embrace, her piercing blue eyes reflecting concern as she sensed the tremors shaking their realm.
Though once sworn enemies, eons of clashes had given way to a deeper understanding between these two Heavenly Dragons and they had fallen in love with each other.
"Hmm... What turmoil shakes the planes, I wonder?" Ddraig mused aloud, stroking Albion's head gently.
"Let me see~" She nuzzled against him affectionately, her warm breath mingling with his own.
"It must be someone powerful," Albion said excitedly, her voice tinged with curiosity and anticipation. "I can sense it."
"Power!" Ddraig roared with excitement, standing up and shifting into his dragon form.
Albion followed suit, her body growing larger and more majestic alongside Ddraig's.
"I wonder how mighty this newcomer may be!!," she said, her previously gentle face now shining with excitement.
"Heh, let us go and see for ourselves," Ddraig declared proudly, his red wings beating fiercely as they took flight towards the direction of the Great War.
