Inside paradise

My condition became so serious so I was not allowed to be discharged. I kept passing out day in day out. My one and a half month of staying in the hospital, Doctor Max treated me like a queen. He brought me food and gifts anytime he was supposed to go out. One morning, he sat beside me on the bed like usual and he looked so happy and hopeful.

"My princess, I would like to tell you something"

He said softly.

"I am all ears"

I was so eager to know what exactly he wanted to tell me but due to the injections and medications given to me, I was very weak so I I fell back on the bed and suddenly everything went black.

"I couldn't even tell her anything. Damned!"

He hit the bed hard.

"But do not worry my princess. What is needed at the moment is your health. Just recover very soon and I will discover everything"

He gave smile of his that even cause a moving clock to stop and then left for work.

*Around four in the evening was time for Doctor Max to end for the day but Clodeth was still not awake. He entered her ward, dressed her up, carried her in his arms and sent her into his car. He made her lyed straight on the seat after carefully putting her down. He then went back inside the hospital and signed that his patient has been discharged. After doing all that, he drove home.

He carried her again and sent her to one of his guest rooms. *

I was still asleep by then, but the noise of a playing music woke me up. What I was seeing was surprising. The decorations, painting and everything did not look like that of a hospital. I realized I was in a different room all together. Quickly, I jumped off the bed and began staring around.

"Why, am I in paradise? No I can't die! who will take care of my siblings? No this can't happen"

I kept speaking to myself and sobbed bitterly. I sat on the floor. All of a sudden I heard a knock at the door. I ran to open and it was a young gentleman in his early twenties.

"please who are you and what do you want here?"

I repeated but I had no answer. He kept staring at me lustfully. I wondered why he was doing that. I saw Max approaching. He tapped him on the shoulders before he was back to himself.

"My princess, you are already awake?"

He said happily and came to stand by me.

"I was coming to check up on you but since you are already awake... And what brought you here Frank?"

"Bro, I was hearing small noises from this area so I came to check and to my surprise, I found this beautiful flower"

I could see Max burnt with jealousy and blissness about the compliment. But for me, I wasn't liking what was going on. I don't like it when somebody flirts with me. I kept my anger to myself because of Max.
