Chapter 21: No one can hurt you.

Xash already had his suit changed as he was now wearing a blue coloured one instead of the initial red suit that was provided to him by Xanny. Ri had made him wear that specific suit because it had the same colour as her gown. She said it made them look like couples. And since Xash doesn't find anything wrong in wearing a blue coloured suit, he agreed to put it on.

Soon after, they appeared in the dining hall through Ri's portal. Everyone's gaze seemed to be on them as they appeared. Ri, who was quick to understand the situation, decided to come up with an excuse as to why they were late.

"Sorry everyone, we couldn't find a healer on time. And Xash was wounded pretty bad." She said.

"Wounded? How did he get wounded?" The man standing beside the villain leader, Mr Harrison asked.

"I'm sure you won't want to know, cause I'm really going to cause a mess if I have to tell you." Xash said, glaring at Jim who glared back at him.

Mr Harrison wanted to say something but the villain leader signalled for him to stop. He had a smile on his face after hearing Xash's words. It was as if the thing that has been making him expressionless all these years have been taken away by Xash's single statement.

Xash was walking towards one of the empty seats till he felt someone hugging him from behind. He could feel the warm breast of the individual on his back, despite the suit he wore. And the person was none other than Xanny.

She had used her telekinesis to move past everyone as she ran towards Xash and gave him a hug.

"I'm so glad to see you brother." Xanny said as she hugged Xash tightly.

"I… it's so nice to see you too Xanny. Can you,.. release me now?" He calmly said.

"Oh, sorry." She released her grip on him but she could see that the eyes of everyone was on her. She was embarrassed by her own actions but then she felt Xash pull her towards him.

"Don't worry about them sister, with me by your side, no one can hurt you." Xash said, his lips showing an affectionate smile.

"What's wrong with them?"

"Is this some kind of Tv show or what."

Xanny could hear Jim's brothers laughing and talking. She felt a little bit awkward as she walked towards her seat. She almost lost her footing if not for Xash who was quick to caught her from behind.

"Are you okay?" He asked and she only replied by flashing an embarrassed smile at him.

"Pair of psychos." Xash heard Jim mumble to himself. Throwing a deadly glare at Jim, Xash showed him a middle finger with fire burning on top of it. Then he brought the finger towards his neck and showed him a throat slitting sign.

Jim wanted to act but he sat and watched Xash display two threatening signs that he plan on killing him if he was to say anything else.

Xash decided to sit close to the leader, and opposite Jim, while Xanny sat beside him.

Ri had a seat reserved for her by her sisters, it was the one close to where Xanny was seated. So she sat in between Xanny and her sisters. As Ri sat in her seat, Ki couldn't help but recall the scene of Xash and Ri having sex together. She couldn't seem to get the thought of Xash and her sister out of her head.

After everyone was seated in their seats, the infamous Mr Harrison cleared his throat as he called for everyone's attention.

"It seems like everyone is here. We can now start the meeting." He said, clapping his hands together twice and about ten maids started appearing with trays of food in their hands.

A variety of food and drinks were placed on everyone's table and after everyone has been served, Mr Harrison clapped his hands together and the maids instantly disappeared into a room.

"Let us eat." The leader's deep voice echoed all over the room and everyone started dining at once.

While everyone was eating, Mr Harrison who was always seen standing close to the leader was now standing a little bit farther from the leader.

"The meeting will now begin." Mr Harrison announced, bringing out an old scroll. "Today, we will be discussing about the future of the Villain faction."

As he proceeded with his talking, everyone, including the Villain leader continued with their meal.

"As you all know that the current Villain leader, Mr Megan, is planning on retiring soon, and his position as the villain leader needs to be passed on to one of his children. Originally, we would have given Xash Megan, the first son of the Megan family, the position of the Villain leader. But Mr Megan…"

"That's right! We can't give it to someone as worthless as him. The position belongs to me." Jim said, standing up from his seat.

Picking a knife from the set of cutleries that was in front of him, Xash hurled it at Jim. With his telekinesis, he was able to control the knife to anywhere he wish. Right now, he was aiming for Jim's throat but just before it could reach Jim, a clang sound could be heard.

Everyone looked towards the direction of the sound and could see a burning bird hovering above the air with a knife in its mouth.

"Well well well, if it isn't for our leaders to be." A voice could be heard coming from the side.

"Hermes?"

"It's been a very long time, Master."
