Chapter 14: Emily Vs Vinny

POV Narrator

{With Vinny, after Hiko defeated the demon king}

Several building and house were destroyed

The citizens shouted as they run away from the falling building, as a red skinned figure with wings and horn appeared above the ruin street

One of the demon flew down towards the nearest human they see and attacked with their sharp claws

"Help–! " -Side Characters

Vinny saw the entire scene unfold, she quickly sprinted towards the side characters with the intention of saving him

"Barrier!" Vinny exclaim as a pure blue barrier blocked the demon attack

"Hurry and run!" Vinny warned the Side Characters behind her

'Thank you" The Side Characters said as he run away from the scene

"Weak Human! Stay out of my Way!" The demon insulted,

The demon glow in a orange light as if he is preparing something

'Explosion magic?' Vinny thought, she quickly made a barrier around the glowing demon with the intention of stopping the explosion from spreading

The demon release a explosive attack but the blue barrier surrounding him made it lethal to the demon owns attack, as a result, the explosion magic he released had killed him

"Died by your own attack, Pathetic! " Vinny mocked the demon

"Attack Her!" The giant demon shouted

The other demon immediately took action upon hearing their leader's order

Red magic circles appeared under her feet and hundred of red magic circles materialise around her

"[Heavenly Shield]!" Vinny exclaim as a Pure Blue Shield surrounded her entire body from head to feet, making the shape of a bubble

Crack started to appeared on the blue barrier from the constant attack of the demon race

Sweat dropped down on Vinny forehead as the temperature were raising to a point that her Resistance couldn't protect her

The moment she saw the blue window screen, she immediately activated her most powerful skill

"[Heavenly Mana: Pure Attack]!" Vinny Exclaim

Her body glow a faint blue light as her mana change from the usually calm circulation around her body to a more aggressive and chaotic circulation

Everything around her were destroyed and the demon exploded into many part killing them all in just a few minutes

The attack she had released was Mana itself, in its purest form called Pure Mana, this attack would destroy your mana circulation from the inside out, making your circulation chaotic and destructive which result in your body exploding into many part if you don't have a resistance against it

Due to the mana being chaotic inside her when she activate it, her own Mana circulation will be damage as well and the cost of activating it is a lot, it will cost more if she were to put it on Maximum output

Vinny observe the surrounding as she tried locating any demon that manage to survive her attack

"Phew" She sigh in relief upon seeing that no demon survive her attack

She seat down on the ground in a cross lagged

"Link!" Vinny exclaim as she tried to locate Hiko location from their Link

The Link she had put inside Hiko Soul space was suppose to work but it didn't, why didn't it work? She thought

"Did Hiko died?" Vinny bluntly said, her face darken at that suggestion

"No...she couldn't die, I had put a barrier around her before I went out" Vinny muttered, she remembered the blue invisible barrier she had put around Hiko

If her barrier were to ever be destroyed she would immediately sense it, but since she didn't sense anything that indicates, the barrier being broken then that means Hiko is still alive, that was what Vinny had thought

"Link" Vinny tried it again as she tried Linking where Hiko is

She failed for the third time since she first activated it

"Damn it!" She curse out loud, her face darkening even more, her eyes glow a cold blue light as killing intent were visible In her eyes

"[Flight]!" She exclaim, her feet lifted off the ground

Vinny floated above the building, her blue eyes glared at the massive figure below

While she was flying in search for Hiko location, she found this demon king corpse on her way towards the Inn where she thought that Hiko is in

From her observation, the demon king has been recently killed, a few minutes ago

She floated down towards the person while using observation on them

"!!" Vinny quickly move her head instinctively from the attack and dodge it on a hair breath away from her ears, if she were to react a second later she might had been injured or worse be killed by that attack

"Emily-chan? What are you doing?" Vinny questioned as sweat dropped from her forehead,

Vinny stood upright and backed away from Emily with a single jump

"Kill...Kill...Kill..." Emily repeatedly muttered under her breath, her eyes were eerily red as the color inside her eyes had disappeared, replace by a cold and emotionless look

Another blade of blood were shot towards Vinny's direction, but this time she is prepared, she blocked the attack with her blue barrier just in time

The blood blade were stronger then she had thought, causing her blue barrier to crack before being destroyed into pieces

Vinny quickly move away from her spot, as the blade of blood missed her skin a few inches away

Emily attack didn't stop there, Emily shot out blade of ice towards her moving figure, without giving her any chance to rest

"Ancient Chain!" Vinny exclaim as a chain made of blue flame materialise on her right hand

Vinny swung her blue chain, as she slash, the incoming ice blade

"Observe!" Vinny muttered as she observe the Abnormality on Emily status panel

"Demonic Parasite? Those demon created such a monster!?" Vinny shouted in anger, she never thought, the demon race would create a parasite that could control humans mind

Vinny shadow started to behave abnormally as if it would jump out at any second

"!!" Vinny quickly move away from her own shadow while casting a barrier around her body

The shadow pierce the air as it made the appearance of a Shadow Spike, it was inches away from piercing her skin

And just when Vinny thought it was over, the demon king body exploded as blood were shot out towards her direction

'!?!?' Vinny is caught off guard by the attack, her body move on its own as she dodge the attack by Instinct

She dodge some of them but couldn't dodge the rest of the attack, the blood spike pierce her arms, leg and torso making her unable to move

"Heavenly Domain: The Ancient Flame" Vinny muttered under her breath, her Ancient Flame dissipated into mana

Under her feet, a blue magic circle appeared as it expand itself, until it cover the entire city she is in

The magic circle began to glow in blue light as blue flame emerge from the magic circle, the blue flame expanded and form a barrier around the city, it trapped anyone inside the radius of the blue flame barrier

"Heavenly Flame: Supreme Blade" Vinny exclaim with a glare at Emily Figure

The flame barrier started to spin rapidly in succession and in just a few second it started to shoot out Blade of blue flame

Vinny observe the surrounding, the blood spike that pierce her were long burned to ashes from her blue flame and the wound she had is gone thanks to her Peak Health Regeneration

There vinny could see a black figure standing in front of her

"!!!" Vinny eyes widen she didn't expect Emily to survive that attack

Emily raise her hand toward Vinny direction and shot out several Ice magic towards her

Vinny deflected the spinning ice blade for 15 second before moving away from her previous place, her skill [Deflect] is in Cooldown currently and it need to Recharge for 10 minute

The Ice blade pass by her skin a few inches away

"Maximum output! Hell Flame!" Vinny shouted as a large magic circle appeared below Emily feet, it glow a intense blue light

Beam of blue flame shot out from her blue magic circle as it completely engulfed Emily entire figure

Vinny stare at the blue flame in front of her, she raise both her hand as she gather her mana towards the four location she had placed in her mind

"[Four Ancient Flames: Heavenly Seal]!" Vinny exclaim

Four pillar of flame emerge from the ground around Emily, the four pillar began to move rapidly around Emily and form a barrier of blue flame in the shape of a square, sealing Emily inside with no ways out, even the ground and sky were completely blocked by the blue flames

After a few minutes her hell flame faded, revealing Emily in the center with no clothes,

"Cloudy area!" Vinny quickly casted a smoke screen, blocking Emily private part, Vinny didn't want anyone to see her being naked in front of everyone, even though she know that no one is here

"Kill...kill..kill....kill..." Emily repeatedly muttered under her breath, her body started to turn red and horn were emerging from her forehead

Vinny seeing that Emily didn't have much time left, she immediately casted a Purification spelled

Vinny raise both of her hand towards Emily direction "[Advance Purification]! " Vinny exclaim, both her hand glow a yellow light as it shot out towards Emily figure

*swoosh*

"No..no!...NO!" Emily screamed as she tried to get away and avoid the yellow light from touching her body

But she couldn't move her body at all, as if something is restricting her from doing that

All she could do now is watch the yellow light enter her body without being able to do anything but struggle with all her might

"AHHHHHHH!! IT BURN! IT BURN!! STOP THIS! HUMAN!" Emily screamed at the human in front of her, she couldn't move her body nor could she stop the yellow light that Vinny had casted

Dark smoke raise from Emily body as if something is being burned alive from the inside

"AHHHHhhhhhhhh...." Emily scream slowly faded as her body collapse on the ground, lifelessly as if she was a doll

Vinny had watch the entire scene unfolded, with a cold look in her eyes she casted observe on Emily

"Observe" Vinny muttered

Vinny walked towards Emily naked figure, she put her hand inside her coat and pull out a white towel, she gently lift Emily from the ground and wrap her with the towel she had in hand

After doing all that, she finally dispelled the smoke screen that cover Emily private part

"*sigh*" Vinny sigh in relief,

"I couldn't find Hiko despite looking for her with Observation, her location remain a mystery for now" Vinny thought out loud

She had observe the entire city with her observation spelled, but she still didn't find her location or anything that hint her location

"Link" Vinny mutter under her breath

"*sigh*" She sigh in annoyance

She carry Emily behind her back, as she walk towards a certain direction, leaving the demon king to dissipate into mana

Unbeknown to Vinny, Hiko is in the cloud minding her own business, the reason why Vinny couldn't find Hiko is because, she is in the cloud literally....

Vinny is quite unlucky, which made sense since her cursed is literally bad luck
