I'm a Catgirl!

A man gets reincarnated to a fantasy world for the amusement of a bored deity. When asked what his one wish is, he replies, "I wanna be a cat girl!" Join Seka as she explores a new world while living life as she sees fit. (Yes this is Yuri, it's in the tag. Just to be clear though, the MC is Bi. Not sure if I'll go harem, but don't complain if she has fun with either gender. ) I do not own the cover picture, I just found it on google. If the artist wishes me to remove it, I shall. The Bank

After a quick meal of pancakes and sausage, I leave the inn. Then realizing that I have no idea where the bank is, I turn around to ask someone for directions. Then I remember that I got directions from Tesk yesterday. But what if I'm remembering them wrong…

Just to make sure, I decide to ask someone. Getting confirmation that I'm remembering them right, I confidently make my way to the guild. And this time I don't get lost at all! Nor do I get attacked by any thugs, which I find both reassuring, and mildly disappointing. People are worth more xp than monsters at my level…

Shaking my head to clear away the murderous thoughts, I pass the guild, following the road to the right of it. After a few minutes walk, I start to wonder if I actually did somehow manage to mess up the directions. Thankfully, at the ten minute mark I enter the square I was told about. Around me are a variety of large buildings.

Directly across from me stands a large temple built from some kind of plain gray stone reminiscent of the ancient parthenon in greece. Though I can't tell what deity they might have dedicated it to from out here.

To my left, at an angle from the temple, is a simple square building. Though it doesn't lose out to the temple in regards to size. A pair of banners sandwich the massive doors between them, the stylized book adorning them making it clear the building is a library.

And completing the triangle of massive buildings directly to my right is the bank, and I can't help but facepalm at the design. How do I know it's the bank? Well, that's because the building is shaped like a massive treasure chest, with gold adorning any part of it that would normally be fashioned with metal on a normal chest.

Sighing, I make my way inside. There I see that the space available for the public is much smaller than the size of the building would suggest. At the far end of the room rests a wooden wall stretching from one side of the room to the other. Normally this would be self evident, but in this wall are a set of ten windows with a line in front of each, bankers helping people with whatever they need help with.

Since the lines are about the same length, I just get in the closest one. While I wait I check how much money I have. Seeing the amount I let out a quiet but impressed whistle. Eight gold, eighty-four silver, and three hundred and eighty-seven copper in various forms.

I'm tempted to send a prayer for Farmer Kyle to rest in peace, but he was a douche so I won't.

Instead I consider how much I should deposit. Sure, I could do the whole amount, but it's probably a good idea to keep some on me physically just in case. Should I deposit all the gold or keep some…

Lost in my musings, the line moves quickly and before I know it I'm in front of a beaming raccoon girl.

"Welcome to the Large Chests Bank. How can we help you today?" At her greeting I can't help but glance down at her chest, nodding at the accuracy of the name.

Coughing to hide my glance, I answer. "I just registered at the Adventurer's Guild and was hoping to open an account to connect to my card?" I don't know why I end my words as a question, when dealing with bank people it just feels like the right thing to do.

The woman smiles, her mask stretching as she pulls out a familiar crystal orb. "Wonderful to hear, and congratulations! Simply inject some mana into the orb and we can get that set up for you right away." I do so, watching as the orb lights up a pure white.

Seeing this the woman nods. "Now that we have a sample of your mana, please present your guild card so that we can compare the two." I pull it out of my storage, noting the slight widening of her eyes as I do so. But she doesn't comment on it as she takes my card and holds it against the orb. When nothing happens she nods.

"The mana in the orb and the card are confirmed to be the same. Now, how much would you like to deposit today?"

I tap my chin as I consider one last time before confirming my decision. "I'll deposit five gold, forty-four silver, and three hundred copper. Where should I put it?" At the amount, the banker's smile freezes for a moment. But at my question she moves her arm a bit stiffly to something out of sight.

She makes a movement and a panel pops out of the wall. Looking inside I see a hole. That's it. Though looking closer at the rim of the hole I'm able to see that there are some kind of runes written into it. Seeing my interest the banker explains.

"These runes transport any money poured into them to one of our specially designed vaults, minimizing any chance for theft. Additionally, the runes are currently connected to the Identification Orb and your guild card, noting down how much money you deposit. Simply drop your coins into the hole and everything will be taken care of."

I nod, reaching out a hand. "Accept my offerings," I proclaim as coins rain down from my palm. I ignore the weirded out look the banker is giving me. I found it amusing, so I did it.

After the rain if coins stop, the banker taps the orb a few times before nodding and handing me back my guild card. "I confirm a deposit of five gold, forty-four silver, and three hundred copper. Thank you for your service and have a wonderful day."

"You too," I respond automatically before leaving. Outside I take a deep breath before letting it out slowly. "Next on the agenda, every man's bane. Clothes shopping for a woman."

I stride forward, coming to the fountain in the center of the square. It's a large thing, a three layer fountain with water cascading down the edges of the round bowls. At the top is a statue of someone who was probably important but is now long dead.

I take a seat, watching as other people pass me by. "Now, who can I ask for directions to a market or clothing store…"

Ugh, I hate interacting with people.
