The G65's starting speed is really not slow. The three cars almost sped out side-by-side until 100 meters away.
In a straight-line acceleration, it was no less than the President and TT.
Then, the three cars cut into the first wide corner.
In a regular racing track, the road asphalt particles were bigger, the flatness was higher, and the friction grip of the tires would be stronger. Professional drivers would therefore choose to decelerate more in the wide corners, instead of drifting.
The key point was that the friction itself was already high, and if you drifted, you would lose a lot of kinetic energy and speed, and it would take more time to accelerate again.
On the circuit, even 0.1 seconds was counted.
If it was a natural turn, in order to reduce the loss of deceleration, the best way was to cut the outer corner, stick to the inner line of the circle, and cut the outer corner after the turn --
