ESCAPED

Ria was sobbing uncontrollably in his arms, she didn't even realize when she started crying, seeing him standing at the door looking at her like she had wronged him sent all her walls crumbling to the ground. She owed him the biggest apology because she lied to him, a lie he would never forgive her for, she let him love her like she was his Lily, she made a fool out of him, she couldn't imagine how broken he would feel when he realizes that she's gone and he had never found his love. On the other hand Jordan was wondering what made her to start crying like that her tears hurt him and the thought that he might be the cause hurt him even more, he was always all over her since she came back not even giving her space to breathe, she ran way for a reason, and when she finally came back he couldn't help it but you couldn't blame him, he missed her for a whole year, he craved her for a whole year, he prayed even if it was to see her face just once, he would be satisfied and then all of a sudden she came running back into his arms and just like any love stricken man would he held her with wide arms , even if he wanted to move on with his life and forget the past he knew he couldn't do that and Jeremy was right he deserved answers and he was going to get them even if the truth was going to break him he still needed to hear it ."I'm sorry, Jordan I know you're confused and I promise I'm going to give you answers I just need time, please" Ria sobbed heavily as she hugged him tightly not even letting go for a second because she was too ashamed to look in his eyes "It's okay, don't cry please I'll give you all the time you need just stop crying" He said peppering kisses on her head.

He was in his study thinking just when he heard a knock on the door It was around 10 o'clock no one would dare disturb him this late except it was really important or if the person was Jeremy "come in" Jordan said loud enough for the person behind the door and the door creaked open and Sybil walked in so he knew it had to be important because she knew better than to disturb him by this time "Good evening sir" Sybil greeted bowing her head slightly "what is it?" he asked pinching the skin between his eyebrows "sir can I speak freely?" Sybil asked "since when do you ask when and when not to speak" Jordan asked back in a tired tone "sir I think there's something strange about Miss Lily" Sybil said with a stoic expression even if she was scared to the wits inside, Jordan chuckled darkly "I don't think that's breaking news, what happened" "Avery reported that she asked one of the maids for a tour of the mansion today and was asking for any secret passages to get in and out of the mansion" she said "I see, so she's already looking for ways to run away again, what if this was exactly how she planned it out the last time while I was busy looking for the best engagement ring to surprise her with on our anniversary" he chuckled "am I really that unlovable, that scary, I guess I really I'm a monster" He said gazing at the ceiling while Sybil remained silent, "I can't be that bad right?" he asked no one in particular, "ANSWER ME SYBIL" he yelled sending the whole table to the ground leaving documents lying around, and Sybil didn't even flinch "I don't think you're a monster sir and for sure you're lovable everyone is" she said "she's just ungrateful" he muttered under his breath almost inaudibly but Sybil still herd him "leave" he said referring to Sybil and with that she left closing the door behind her and Jordan felt a hot liquids race each other down his cheeks he covered his eyes and placed his head on his desk and cried all the tears he had to cry because that was the last time he was going to shed a tear for anyone ever again not even Lily, he was finally going to live up to his name.

Ria woke up later than usual, so she wasn't surprised when she didn't find Jordan beside her unknown to her that the latter was asleep in his study, she saw that as an opportunity to carry out her well drafted plan or so she thought, she quickly rushed down to hazel, after hazel showed her the secret gate behind the mansion she quickly ran to get ready when she was done, she sat down on the bed and wrote a letter to Jordan

"Dear Jordan,

I don't know how well you're going to take this but firstly I want to let you know how sorry I am, I truly didn't mean for it to go this way and I know I should have told you the truth the moment you brought me to your home and we probably wouldn't be where we are today, running away from all the problems I've caused is a very cowardly thing to do but after all I am a coward I took advantage of your situation and used you. Words wouldn't be able to express how sorry I am right now, but I was scared, I am still scared, people are out to kill me I was running from them the day we met in your bar, I ran unsure of where I was going I just wanted to get away from them and you held me that day like I meant so much to you, you saved me and I owe to this day but I was so selfish and greedy that I couldn't even come clean to you, instead I enjoyed the attention you gave me. I admire you Jordan and I know you'll find Lily one day cause you deserve it.

When she was done she put in an envelope and kept it on the bed stand wiping her tears, this was so much harder than she thought, she didn't want to take anything with her to avoid anyone noticing she went out the back door of the kitchen and headed to the secret gate, when she got there she opened it carefully so as to not make a noise she looked behind her one more time and took one last look at the mansion, she would never be able to forget the memories she had of the mansion. With that she finally stepped out and closed the door behind her.
