Chapter 401/45: The World Villain

[Capital City Seoul, South Korea]

Three months has passed ever since the incident regarding the destruction of the G.E.N.O.S organization in both Japan and America, through that incident the whole world then came to know that some powerful Espers in Japan were planning to overthrow the  organization all over the world, thus causing chaos towards the current status quo of the society

Aside from the current investigation of the mysterious attacker in the American Core branch, which completely annihilated all the people in the site, the attacker's in the Japan's branch however was completely leaked to all branches all over the world, thus causing a great turmoil for everyone, of course the leaker of such information was the head chief of the organization in  japan who survived Kaido's raid, Head Chief Kojou himself

Through this huge opportunity to apply pressure unto the attacker's in Japan, the organization itself then implemented a must kill dead or alive wanted poster on Kaido's head with a reward prize of 500 billion dollars

The reason why the wanted poster was concentrated on him is because the world had literally known his information with former Head Chief Kojou as the source information, as for his accomplices they actually lack any type of information regarding them as if they never existed in the first place

Currently the opinion of the world towards Kaido was split into three

The first group consisted of ordinary people who loathed Espers from the very beginning, they blamed Kaido for ruining the peace of the world, thus strengthening their propaganda against the existence of the Espers, mostly this consists about 80% of the current population of the world

The second group consisted of both ordinary people and majority of the Espers who idolized Kaido due to him destroying the organization which they were afraid off due to some malicious rumors of Espers dying cause of various cruel experiments that were being conducted, by using Kaido's existence and achievements as their fuel of rage, they then boldly started planning for the inevitable war against the organization itself, thus plunging the world into chaos, mostly this consisted of 15% of the current population of the world

Thirdly this group consisted of the organization and minority of the Espers society who only had the reward money on their eyes if they ever killed Kaido, such group consisted of powerful individuals who could literally go toe to toe with Kaido himself, thus arrogance and high ego was common to such people, mostly this consisted of the remaining 5% of the current population

All in all the world had the total number of 15,876,465,991 people living on the planet, thus the number of people who think they are on par with Kaido strength and was planning to hunt him down is about 793 million of people, thus tilting the difficulty of surviving towards Kaido's side

But all in all such words and claim are just pure ignorance of the fact that they are currently hunting down is none other than but a world Ragnarok Level Esper, which could already be titled as a one man army

Currently located at the heart of the capital city in south Korea, wherein the sun had already set and illuminating light of the city started emerging from the darkness, the night activity then started out for everyone who was prone on such occasion

Such events that is happening at night included 24/7 shops or malls, small to huge time casino's, hotels, resort, night pools, night club's, and resto bars

At that moment on a specific ground floor alleyway between two buildings, a resto bar was currently open during that night, as it takes on various customers hailing from different business or places in the capital city

Of course such people included businessman, thugs, prostitutes, gangs, and etc. Who often likes to spend their night in a lively way

Unfortunately the resto bar isn't that quite of a grand place as it only has small square meters of space, which can only contain the counter, 4 tables, 38 chairs, a small kitchen, and a small storage room

Such place also has only one worker, which is also the owner over at the counter seemingly at his 40's and a mustache which is quite noticeable

With such a small place to do business, the resto bar had currently 8 male customer during that night, and among one of them is Kaido himself who had flown over towards this country about three months ago, to hunt down the members of the organization itself

At that moment every customer inside the resto bar including the owner was currently wary of Kaido, who seemingly kept asking for information about the G.E.N.O.S organization of this country

In all likelihood everyone in the room knows of such an organization who both work good on the surface and cruel beneath it, in fact every person inside the resto bar are aware that such an organization who has control in the worlds government shouldn't be trifled with, thus causing Kaido himself to catch their attention

As Kaido was seated near the counter at the middle of the store, 4 guys seemingly a gang was observing his back on his right and 3 people who are independent of each other is observing his movement on his left, thus having himself completely surrounded on all side with only one exit which is few blocks away on his left

But as if ignorant of such a situation kaido still proceeded to ask away, while keeping his hood low to hide his face

"Hey uncle! I know that you can speak Japanese right? So that means you can answer my questions as easily as making some random mix of wine, so tell me all about the survivors from that night"

As Kaido proceeded to ask the bartender or the owner of the bar towards such specific question, the news outlet of the bar's television then suddenly lit up as it informed everyone about the incident of mass killing that happened 2 days ago

According to the news the authorities were suspecting that the victims were one of the survivors from the G.E.N.O.S organization main branch in South Korea that got destroyed about a month ago

Of course the culprit still couldn't be found yet, but the footage that were caught in the vicinity indicated that a hooded person was the responsible for the mass death of the organization members

In actual fact 3 months ago after leaving his whole group in Japan and arriving at South Korea, Kaido himself didn't idle at all and started collecting information about the G.E.N.O.S organization's location all over Korea and after collecting information for about 2 months, he then proceeded on the next phase of his plan and started destroying the bases, causing the society to fall into chaos and the government to be aware of his existence

In some cases there were times that the government even responded towards the organizations aide and supported them agaisnt suppressing Kaido himself, they even used some strong espers to deal with the foreign esper himself, unfortunately it didn't end well as the operation ended in a bloodshed and only Kaido lived to tell the tale

With his rampage all over South Korea, numerous countries who supported the organization itself or had invested so much towards such an organization, then tried to provide some aide under the shadows by sending some teams or assassins to hunt him down

But unlike them North Korea took another approach as they immediately closed their borders to prevent Kaido from wrecking havoc on their country

Unfortunately during his rampage on destroying the organization, there were still some survivors who managed to hide themselves among the society and there was a huge percentage of them hiding in the capital city of Korea, thus he was hunting them down

With all of the countries in the world hinting him down, it was only natural for him to continue to hunt down his prey too

As for the fact why numerous other country's government is trying to help the organization, was in fact that the organization itself had completely got ahold of the government in each countries themselves, thus such a situation

All in all throughout his journey all over Korea, Kaido had taken more lives, so much that he couldn't even count them anymore with his bare hands

Seeing the news plastered on the television near the counter, the owner of the bar then turned his head towards his customer and asked

"Your the hooded person that are hunting those people correct?"

Hearing his question, Kaido then gave out a smile under his hood as he chuckled in delight

"Let's just say that I am that person, what are you gonna do about it? Tell me off to the authorities?"

Upon hearing Kaido's words, numerous people behind him then gasped in surprise as they didn't expect that the person talking to the owner of the bar himself was actually the person who is being hunted down by various countries with a 500 billion dollars plastered on his head

Putting aside his danger level around such a hooded person, many people in the surroundings was much more blinded to the fact that there was a walking bag of money right infront of them, such is the greed in humanity

Receiving those greedy stares behind his back, Kaido simply glared at the other customers full of killing intent as he tried to scare them off, after all he did already killed a lot of people, thus killing some ignorant flies in this bar wasn't that a problem for him at all

Shifting his focus back unto the owner, the person himself then proceeded to ask

"If your the person who attacked the organization about a month ago and had completely turned it inside out, what is your purpose in collecting information towards its surviving members? Are you perhaps hunting them down?"

"You could say that" replied Kaido

"But why? Isn't that action pretty much useless anyway? Since you've already destroyed the organization in this country, thus leaving everything burning into flames, then wouldn't it be much more sensible if you target the other countries by now?" Asked by the owner

Hearing that Kaido then tapped the table with his finger as he replied towards his questions

"That should have been the case if there weren't any survivors among the places that I've attacked, unfortunately there were survivor's and we all know that as long as there is a survivor in their side, then it would only be just a matter of time till the G.E.N.O.S organization of this country rise up again... if that ever happens, then wouldn't all my efforts be useless? Thus I'm currently securing my mark on this country"

"Securing your mark? Due to your actions, your actually causing chaos in the society" said the owner

At those words, Kaido then laughed

"Ahahahaha! Isn't that the same case for everyone inside your bar?"

"!!!"

"Gangs, thieves, corrupt businessman, killers, suspicious people, every person who entered your bar are also people who directly influences the society by instilling fear, all I can say is that we're the same breed, but I'm just much more superior to them" added Kaido

With that the owner of the bar then cleared his throat as he asked Kaido on behalf of everyone who seemed to be alarmed due to the latter's words

"Gangs, thieves, corrupt businessman, killers, suspicious people? Customer your just delusional, everyone here is proper people"

At his words however, Kaido simply pointed out his pointing finger into a gun stance, aimed right at his head as he replied

"Now that's bullshit! You can't lie to me, even though you may not acknowledge it, I for one knew that everyone here had killed a person in their life, after all everyone here reeks the smell of blood, especially you the owner yourself, thus if you don't want to die right in this place, you better fes up your knowledge regarding those who survived my rampage, im not a nice guy at all"

Hearing this threat a sudden silence enveloped the place as the owner cleared up his throat and took out a USB drive in his pocket and placed this right infront of him

Seeing the drive, Kaido couldn't help but scrutinized it as he asked

"What is this?"

Sensing his confusion, the owner then replied

"That is a type of special drive, it has a function of instantly deleting all the files inside it's storage once a person had finished reading it's content, in other words a one time use drive... it contains the information about the survivors of your rampage"

Hearing that information, Kaido was simply amused

"Hoh! So your expecting my arrival?"

"Nope! Thats just for my precautionary measures in case someone ask me questions regarding the organization" answered by the owner

"Wow! This is pretty handy drive, where did you get this?"

"Black market"

Upon hearing that specified name, Kaido already caught the gist of it as he kept the drive and plans to walk away, who knew that by the time he plans on leaving, all 7 people inside the resto bar then stood up from their seat and surrounded him in all sides

3 on his front and 4 people on his back, seeing such line up, Kaido couldn't help but chuckle at this scenario as he asked

"What a fine display of courage! So what are you gentlemen aiming at? My life, my powers, or my loyalty?"

Upon asking his question, one guy from his back who towered over him by a few feet then replied

"The money on your head"

Hearing that kind of remark, Kaido couldn't help but insert a smirk as he ache for violence

In an Instant instead of talking back towards the people who were hostile towards him from the very beginning ever since he entered the resto bar, he then instead immediately kicked the person right in front of him before quickly pulling his leg back and kicking the person behind him in swift movements, due to that approach two people that were near him were immediately floored because of his kick

With the first move being started by Kaido himself, the 5 remaining people who were still standing then immediately ganged up on him as they came in from all sides

Initially the very first person behind him who immediately retaliated by swinging his fist towards him, was immediately floored the moment Kaido ducked down to dodge his fist and elbowed his stomach, followed up by a back hand punch to the face

After that Kaido parried numerous punches from the two people right in front of him using his own arms, before dislocating their arms with a few strikes to their arm joints and finishing it with a double roundhouse kicks to the head, causing the two people to crash unto the nearby chairs and table, thus breaking them

Right at that moment while he was still distracted by the two people right in front of him, another two guys came in towards him from behind with a bottle and glass mug and smashed it towards his head

Unfortunately Kaido wasn't foolish enough to let down his guard and disable his pyschic barrier thus always keeping them up, because of that he was completely protected by his psychic barrier from the dirty attacks of the two people behind him and had enough time to retaliate  b y dodging their secondary attack and delivering two huge swing towards their faces, thus flooring another two guys to the floor

At that moment the two people who were floored first from the encounter then stood up to their fighting form and charged towards Kaido without hesitation at all, unluckily they were once again smashed against the hard flooring after a few fist exchange with Kaido

In actual fact Kaido was smiling throughout the whole ordeal, not showing a slightest bit of annoyance nor tiredness, thus in the end the only person who was left standing in the confrontation was Kaido himself with 7 people all on the floor groaning in pain

After glancing towards the owner of the bar who seemed worried about his expenses to repair all the damaged parts of the resto bar, Kaido then waved his hand at the owner with an evil smile as he said

"Charge all the fee towards this brutes, after all seeing that they wanted to brawl so much, they must have taken into account about the damages they will bring"

Hearing what Kaido had said the owner then sigh in dejection as he waved his hand away indicating that he should leave the premises before any further damages could be done

Seeing the owner's hand motion, Kaido simply smiled back as he pulled up his hood and kicked the person in front of him before walking away, after all such people were nothing more than low crooks in the society  in comparison to the bigshots who rule the society with an iron grip

One of such type of people were the higher ups of the G.E.N.O.S organization itself, seeing that till now the society turned a blind eye towards the cruelty to wards the espers and view the organization as their messiah

Thinking it up till that point, Kaido couldn't help but scowl at the current rotten society and just wanted to see the world burn with his own eyes

But due to him being a hot target in the eyes of the organization, he couldn't even believe that they would place a high reward price on his head to any person who could kill or capture him alive, but instead of feeling pressure by the implications of the organization, Kaido couldn't help but get excited to see who would dare enough to kill him, after all it has always been him against the whole world from the very beginning

With that thought in mind Kaido then walked away from the resto bar and headed back straight towards his apartment that he had  rented at a low cost and plans to wait for the daily report coming from Aileene and co. back in Japan
