Big trouble

Olivia's POV

“Start talking, little bird”.the word echo in the room. I nervously looked at him, but he returned it with an angry look 

“I'm waiting”.he spoke up 

I swallowed nervously and took a deep breath before speaking up 

“We went to their warehouse”. I spoke in a whisper.

Rona was quiet for a while, but I could feel his eyes on me. I couldn't look at him but faced the floor, 

“You went out with him”.the voice was calm, but I knew he was angry

I twisted my fingers nervously, but I did not dare say a word or look at him.

“Look at me “.he command. 

I flipped at the sound of his voice but did not dare look at him.

“Olivia, look at me”.this time he was getting angry. I twisted my fingers in fear and closed my eyes tightly.

I heard a soft sign and some movement around me. I felt a hand around my waist, and I was lifted like a little kid. He placed me on his laps and ran his fingers on my hair,

“Little bird”.the voice came as a whisper.I felt my body shiver and I wonder why this name has this effect on me.

“Look at me, little Bird”.the word came as a pled.

I hesitated for a moment before slowly lift my head up and nervously look at him.

We lock eyes with each other and I felt myself lost in his gaze. I tried looking away, but he quickly stopped me.

“Are you scared of me, “he said those words while staring directly at me. I tried to hide my face from me, but he held it with his two hands, 

“Are you terrified of me “.he was caresing my Cheek while asking this question. I closed my eyes, so I could feel his touch.it was gentle and full of care.

“Are you “.he asked again, 

“No”. I replied slowly.

“Then look at me “.he commanded, but this time the voice was calm.

I slowly opened my eyes and looked at him. He met my gaze and gave me a big smile .this time the still was real, and I felt a different feeling in my stomach.

“Do you want to go out “.he asked while gently stroking my hair,

“I thought you were in a meeting”. I asked, 

“Not anymore”.he replied quickly.

I wanted to say yes, but I was scared of Derick father finding me. Rona must have noticed my mood because he held me closer to him and kissed my forehead,

“He won't dare touch you, no need getting worried”.he assured me in a calm voice.

I hissed in relief and sat properly in his laps. He made a strange sound I couldn't understand and held my waist tighter.

“Stop doing that “.he spoke in rough voice. I looked at him and saw how frustrated he looks.

“Did I do something wrong “. I asked.

He stares at me for a while before speaking up, 

“You will be the death of me “.he said those words and pretended like he didn't say a word. I frown at him and look away.

“What is it little bird “.he asked 

“Stop talking about death” I spoke in anger but in a calm voice.

He chuckled softly and held my face, 

“Are you scared of death, or you are scared of me dying”.he asked With a mischievous smile on his face. 

I roll my eyes at him and looked away.

“Answer “.he commanded

Both”. I quickly replied,

He chuckled softly before standing up from the bed. I stood up with him, but he asked me to sit and wait for him.

Few minutes, he came back to the room and held out his hand to me.

“Where to “. I asked while taking his hand, 

“You'll see “.he replied.

He took my hand, and we left his room. I look at my hand on his and felt a feeling of care and safety .wake up Olivia, stop thinking nonsense, I told myself.

We passed several doors before he stopped at a bigger door, he opened it and let me in.

When I got in, I realized it was a big movie room, there were several chairs and a big screen TV 

“This is beautiful”. I whisper

“Sit”. Rona led me to the middle row, and we sat together,

“What movie do you wanna watch”.he asked while scanning different movies

“Any movie will be okay for me “. I replied, “No, tell me the movie you would like to watch”. “Any movie ?”. I asked 

“Yes”

I would love to watch me before you”. “Me before you “.he asked 

“Yeah”

“Alright”.

It didn't take him long to search the movie out.

He handed me a drink and some snacks.

“Come here “.he opened his arms for me. I hesitated for a while before moving closer to him .he held me tightly but gently.

I closed my eyes and felt intoxicated in his smell .his smell was manly and intoxicating. I raised my hand and wanted to touch his chest, but I quickly held it back .he noticed it and chuckled softly.

I removed my thought from him and focused on the movie.

Few minutes into the movie, I was silently crying .we were at the scene when he decided to end the pain and took his life.

I started sobbing uncontrollably, and it started disturbing Rona

“Hey”.he gently lifts my face and kissed my cheek 

“It's just a movie, and it seemed you've watched it a lot” “Yeah I know, just that I love this movie a lot “. I replied him while he tried cleaning my face.

“You act like a child “.he chuckled softly.

I rolled my eyes at him and looked away.

“Fine, I'm sorry “.he pled.

I hissed and looked away.

He dragged me to his laps and held my waist.

“Are you angry with me “.he asked while staring at me, 

I was about to say yes when my phone started ringing. I wanted to avoid it, but Rona took the phone and gave it to me. I took the phone from him and checked who the caller was.

My heart skipped the moment I saw the caller. Quickly I picked up the phone, 

“Hello aunt." “For God’s sake Olivia where are you “.she sounded furious, and I knew I was in trouble, 

“I'm around aunt “. I stammered 

“I want to see you now in the next ten minutes”.she said those words and ended the call.

I quickly stood up from rona's lap, he stood up and gave me a worried look 

“Is everything okay “.he asked 

“I think I might be in trouble “. I whispered in fear.
