Annoying Derick

Different students came out singing different songs some were pleasant to the ears while some I'll prefer not to say ..all this while he was quite and angry like he was forced to be there ..well don't blame him ,most of the singers where horrible

It was my turn, when Rita stood up and said it was enough I was shocked, she doesn't want me to sing or maybe she thinks since am black I can't sing or what 

I walked up to her .."hello Rita I have been  here for the past two hours it's really not fair if I also don't sing ,can you spare some time "I said .she looked at me with the most annoying look I have ever seen and made a mocking laugh ..she looked at him and he was quite and calm ..."well well he didn't say anything" she said and walked out on me ..I felt humiliated and small , everyone walked out on me including Derick . I tried fighting back the tears in my tears and walked out of the classroom 

I met Liz standing outside looking anxious and didturb.i fake a smile and wave at her .I walked up to her .itsseems like she already knew what happened.she tap me on the shoulder and said let's go home ..we walked out of the school gate . she asked for my address and we realized we live close which was walkable to school ..we both talked about our life and different family ..Liz is the only daughter from a well to do family,she has two older brothers ,her dad is late and she stays with her mom and two Brothers..I got home before her ,we wave good bye and I walked in 

When I got home my aunt was already home ..she welcome me with a smile asking how my day went ..I told her only the things I wanted her to hear..she smiled and told me am not good at lying ..I fake a smile and went to my room 

Later that evening I saw a friend request from someone ,I checked it and realised it was coming from Liz ,I smiled and accepted the request ,then I slept off

I was woken up by my alarm .I hissed and went down stairs ,my aunt was already up .she is a nurse and on a morning shift ."good morning darling" she greeted ,I smiled and greeted her .."go take your bath and eat something ,am already late "she told while leaving the house.

I went upstairs took my bath and wore something simple ..ate a little breakfast and head out

I got to school, relocated my class and sat at the exact position I was yesterday .students were moving in and out,I tried looking for Liz and saw her at the other row talking to a cute guy .. she waved at me with a smile and continue her discussion,I wonder what's he is telling that is making her so happy I thought...

And again like a flash he walked in and sat in front of me ..I can't stop but keep staring at him even though I was angry at him for yesterday..he look back at me and says his first word to me 

"I hate it when people stares at me and especially ugly girls" ,those were the words he says and turn back ..I felt little and humiliated

I made sure I focus on my books for the rest of the class and didn't even blink at him ...after class he was talking to some guys while I stood up and went to Liz ..she was so entangled with the guy and was smilling like a little girl..I told her I was heading to the library ,she said she will join me once she was through ..I nod my head and went out 

I tried locating the library ..it wasn't hard to find ,I picked up a book and sat at the widow side.i couldn't concentrate ..so many eyes were on me .. sometimes I wonder what's they are looking at ..if it were my looks ,my color, my hair or my clothes..while I was lost in thoughts I remember I had a job interview at a confee shop .I quickly returned the book and texted Liz ,I told her I had an interview and needed to go ...
