Under Beidou's arrangements, the six children smoothly moved into the dormitories of the new store.
The next day, Beidou took Akihiro and Anya to formally resign from their previous jobs. After all, they were now part of the YoYo Day Care and had even signed "indenture contracts."
Akihiro temporarily studied alongside Arata Sena under Beidou to learn about the knowledge of Pokémon Trainers. Anya, on the other hand, was assigned to assist Misaki by Yuga.
Yuga intended to train Anya to become a dedicated Breeder for YoYo Day Care, rather than being merely an employee with an employer-employee relationship like Misaki. As Anya grew, some of the secret formulas of the shop could be entrusted to her, as it wouldn't be realistic to rely solely on Audino for the tasks.
As for the other four children who were not even ten years old, Yuga didn't assign them any work because of their young age. Instead, he arranged for them to enroll in the Trainer School.
After all, some necessary investments had to be made. The Trainer School in Verdanturf Town taught basic Trainer knowledge, and the tuition fees were not high, so it wasn't a significant burden for Yuga to cover the expenses of the four children.
However, the knowledge they could acquire was limited. Otherwise, Luna and the others wouldn't have chosen to go to the Preparatory Camp so readily. These children were working hard because their older brother had worked hard to secure a place where they could live comfortably, have enough to eat, and not be bullied.
Two months had passed in the blink of an eye. The short winter in the Verdanturf Town gradually gave way to spring, and the trees started to regain their greenery.
During this period, Yuga finally succeeded in brewing a Potential Evolution Potion, which transformed Shroomish's Potential from orange to yellow.
After the Potential evolution, Shroomish clearly felt that its training efficiency had improved, and it easily awakened a new move, Headbutt. However, Headbutt was an intermediate-level move, and for Shroomish, which was not very powerful, using it smoothly was still somewhat challenging.
Then there was Charmander. After the battle with Akihiro, Yuga realized how deadly its personality was.
Therefore, he threw Charmander into the Desert Sub-Ecopark every day, allowing it to be ambushed by Gligar and Trapinch.
During this time, Yuga didn't provide Charmander with any help. If it wanted to avoid injuries, eat, or drink water, it had to fend for itself.
After a period of training, Charmander was finally able to face opponents calmly.
Spring arrived, and the date of February 22nd drew near. Yuga remembered the appointment he had made with Mr. Kuni'o.
It was time to visit the Mauville City. Although he didn't know why Mr. Kuni'o wanted to meet him, Yuga believed that being on time was better. If he delayed, who knew if it might affect anything.
Since Audino had returned, Yuga had become more relaxed. She managed both his home and the Ecopark effectively.
After returning from training with Joyna, Audino had become more professional in caring for Pokémon and handling miscellaneous tasks. This also extended to how the Miltanks behaved, becoming more organized.
For this, Wigglytuff expressed his admiration and secretly tried to learn from Audino's ways. However, Audino noticed Wigglytuff's actions but didn't mention it.
In any case, with Audino overseeing things at home, Yuga could go out for ten days or half a month without any worries.
It's worth noting that the two Mr. Mimes Yuga had brought back from Motohara finally started interacting with other Pokémon in the Ecopark. Sometimes, they even helped the Miltanks with tasks they were capable of.
However, they would instinctively hide when they saw Yuga.
Even though other Pokémon repeatedly told them that Yuga was harmless, they resisted his approach. However, Yuga believed that with time, they would come to accept him.
As for Gardevoir, they remained the same, spending most of their days like puppets, eating, sleeping, and daydreaming.
Additionally, Yuga had finally completed all his Friendship Tasks, successfully Evolved Eevee to the last Sylveon.
As a result, Yuga smoothly obtained the Universal Pokéblock recipe for Fairy-type Pokémon and named it "Innocent." He successfully listed it in the YoYo Day Care.
With this, Yuga had acquired a total of eight Pokéblock recipes: Heavies (Ground), Vitality (Grass), Extender (Water), Fierce (Dark), Mysterious (Poison), Fantasy (Psychic), Innocence (Fairy), and Beautie (Beauty).
On February 12th, Yuga left Verdanturf Town and rode on his Dragonair, heading towards Mauville City.
It was now the season of gentle spring breezes and rejuvenation, the perfect time for a journey.
The Pokémon accompanying Yuga on this trip included Dragonair, Absol, Chimecho, Charmander, Shroomish, and Chatot.
Florges stayed back in the Ecopark because she was about to break through to level 50, and her joint training with the Grass-type Pokémon in the Ecopark had made great progress.
It's worth mentioning that Chimecho, the highest-level Pokémon, had finally broken through to level 50, becoming the first Pokémon among Yuga's main battle team to reach that milestone.
As for Vivillon, she accompanied Vespiqueen when it came time for the critical stage of their Enchanted Honey production, She insisted on staying behind at the YoYo Day Care.
Initially, Yuga didn't intend to bring Shroomish along, but it stubbornly refused to leave Yuga's side, so he had no choice but to take it.
Chatot tagged along purely to avoid Noctowl.
In its own words, something was off; after giving birth, Noctowl seemed more attractive by the day. It thought its eyes might be malfunctioning and wanted to go out to see some fresh young Pokémon to cleanse its vision.
Yuga couldn't quite understand Chatot's unique thought process, so he simply went along with it.
And so, Yuga rode his Dragonair, stopping along the way, and finally arrived in Mauville City on the afternoon of the third day.
He had considered using transportation to get to Mauville City, but since the weather was so nice during this time, Yuga wanted to enjoy the scenery along the way. Besides, he had left early, so there was plenty of time.
Thanks to the Golden Key given by Mr. Kuni'o, Yuga encountered no resistance from any guard Pokémon along the way, smoothly entering the manor.
When he saw Mr. Kuni'o in Ryuichi's courtyard, he was quite surprised.
"Young Master Shimizu! You've come without notifying me. I should have gone to receive you!" Ryuichi said in astonishment.
Yuga smiled and replied, "There was no need for you to come to receive me. I've arrived smoothly, after all!"
Ryuichi led Yuga into the courtyard while saying, "It's not about whether there's a need or not. I should have gone to receive you."
"Yeah, exactly! Who would refuse to be welcomed by a handsome guy!" Chatot, perched on Yuga's shoulder, chimed in.
"Handsome guy, nice to meet you! Can you tell me what you've been eating to grow so tall?"
