After convincing Jenna to stop hunting Jeremy questions him about his hangover which worsens their family relationship situation.

Jeremy wasn't currently the least bit willing to open up and forcing him to open up might be the worst thing to do.

We took my car with me driving and stopped by the mansion to pick up Sage. She was already waiting outside the mansion.

"Hi Love, Hi Jenn" Sage got into the car through the back door with a happy smile.

She kissed Jenna's forehead and kissed me on the mouth with a peck. Settling into the backseat, she crossed her arms calmly waiting for the car to move while she chatted with Jenna about trivial matters.

"Love, Sage and I are going to have to settle a matter involving a family member," I said gently running my hand through her hair "Can you keep things in order while I'm gone?"

"Where are you going?" Jenna asked suspiciously and took my hand "You're not going to disappear, are you?"

"Of course not, Love, we're just going to solve a problem in California," I said caressing her and taking my cell phone to show her a message"Here, a friend of mine has problems with violent neighbors... She's afraid that your children get caught in some kind of retaliation"

"What a horrible thing, why would she be so scared?" Jenna asked curious and shocked as she took out my cell phone to read the message, then she squinted her eyes "Political fight! It had to be"

Jenna shook her head in disappointment. Then she smiled and kissed me on the corner of my mouth.

"Come back soon, but make sure you two stay safe" Jenna said and opened the car door and got out of it quickly.

She walked around the car and went to the back door and touched the window with Sage opening the car window.

Jenna stuck her head inside the car and started whispering in Sage's ear.

"Take care of him and don't let him screw up and get arrested again" Jenna kissed Sage's cheek.

"Of course, I will, you can count on me" Sage laughed caressing Jenna's face and kissing her forehead.

Jenna took her head out of the car heading towards her office.

"We should tell her," Sage said as she jumped into the front seat squeezing between the two front seats "I can't stand lying to Jenna!"

"No! Sage, you know that apart from me, Lucifer and Hades. who are 'immortals', everyone we meet in the supernatural world will eventually die a violent death" I stated with a sigh of defeat?

"You, Maze, the vampires under our commands, will all die violently, I love you, but I know you've been involved in this since chaotic times! Jenna is different, she deserves peace"

I knew my speech was Hypocritical since eventually. The cannon would involve Jenna somehow putting her in the supernatural world. But, I would do my best for Jenna to be happy away from the supernatural for as long as possible.

"You know that's impossible, don't you?" Sage said dryly

"People believe in the impossible, Religion, Peace, Equality!" I replied on the tip of my tongue the truth "even though we know these things will never be achieved, why, I can't believe I can keep my woman away from the supernatural world?"

"Hey, I'm also your Wife, your fragile and beautiful wife, but, you're not that protective of me" Sage replied sullenly pouting poking my cheek "You bad man, I'm seeing partiality in the relationship"

I turned my face to the side and tried to bite her finger and failed when she pulled her finger away with a cry of 'wow'. I could only laugh at her reaction and the speed she took her finger away from my mouth.

A normal person would have broken their arm moving their arm at that speed.

"Yes, my fragile woman able to fight toe to toe with Maze is on the same level as the princes of hell" I laughed rolling my eyes as I turned to her and started to nudge her and calm her down"Are you being a very spoiled girl, take this punishment"

"Stop, hahaha, I can't take it, Hahaha, my evil husband, hahaha, you're harassing your beautiful wife, hahaha" Sage squirmed with the quiet while laughing madly and trying to take my hands off her to stop getting quiet" It will come back, hahaha"

*Horn*

Unfortunately, our play stopped when a loud horn blared in front of us and a headlight flashed in our eyes. All I could see was a gigantic truck coming towards me at great speed.

No! I was going at great speed towards the truck

"Damn!" Sage and I yelled and I swung the wheel around the big trailer at the last second before impact.

The car spun in the lane almost losing control and luckily, I was a vampire and had enough strength to keep the steering wheel under control.

"Hahahahahahahahaha"

Not understanding why I started laughing, sage started laughing. We both continued laughing without knowing the reason until the time

After finishing our journey of many, many hours by car crossing entire states. We finally arrived at our destination, the small and sleepy town of Beacon Hills.

Already at the entrance was our trouble inside the city. A vampire in compulsion I'd created myself to watch the city.

The vampire was a fair-skinned man with brown hair, he wore a policeman's outfit and was around 60 years old in appearance.

Yes, I turned an old man into a vampire. No one will suspect that an old man is a vampire.

If I remember correctly his name was Marcos.

"Mr. and Mrs!" Marcos greeted us by bowing his head respectfully.

He looked at me and not once did he dare look at Sage, the good boy at least he knows there are things he shouldn't move.

"Marcos, Is the case of the hunters true?" I asked in a cold voice "Tell me everything!"

"Yes sir!" The hunters arrived in the city and a young 'wolf' from the Hale family 'killed and tore' one of the hunters as you planned, the hunters, are planning revenge."

"Good! now take me to the rest of your pack, let's plan how to finish this" I replied and looked at Sage "Love, are you confident in killing some wolves?"

"I'm confident! if they are, normal wolves, I can kill 2 or 3, in the full moon, if they are shape-shifters, I can kill 7 or 10 at most" Sage said puffing out his chest and soon after, he raised his head "but, I don't guarantee that I can do it without consequence"

"Ok, you don't have to kill the whole pack, just a few," I asked and she frowned slightly "tell me what you know about shifters"

"I met 3 of them, all alphas about 600 years ago! I fought and ended up killing them, however, I received a few bites" Sage declared, grimacing in pain.

"Alright, so bites aren't deadly?" I asked with a sigh and then I got serious "how strong are they?"

"Their bite isn't fatal, but it's painful, more painful than that of normal wolves" Sage made a hiss when talking about the shape-shifters bite"But I don't know if it only works for alphas or betas, in strength, an average alpha is equivalent to a normal wolf in human form"

"medium alpha?" I asked looking at her curiously

"Yes, out of the 3 I found, 2 were medium alphas," Sage said taking a hand to his chin before snorting with a hateful face "The other was a different alpha, he could transform into a mixture of wolf and giant man… He was very powerful, enough to make me, a 300-year-old vampire at the time, struggles to survive."

"That was it?" I narrowed my eyes coldly looking at her "No it was nothing else? he didn't do anything to you?"

I could feel that look of hate from her was the look of hate from someone I know very well, the look of hate from a girl who ended up getting the attention of a criminal.

I clenched my fist and my jaw. Just remember that many girls came to me when I was the head of a group that dominated our community to ask for revenge.

"Darling, no, he didn't do anything" Sage grabbed my face forcing me to look at her who was looking at me with an eye full of love. "He couldn't, I killed him before that! Don't worry, go back to being the Finn you show Jenna and me!"

Sage kissed me on the corner of my mouth as he hugged my neck and clung to me.

*Sigh*

I suppressed the anger and hate inside me and came back with my normal smile.

"Sorry love" I caressed her face and kissed her back "I won't make this mistake again"

"Yes, I love your two sides, but you better be Finn cute if you want to have allies among shifters" Sage replied kissing me back and when she blinked twice she let go "now that you calmed down, what's the plan?"

"us, we are going to kill some wolves and hunters, to blame each other. however, we are going to kill more wolves than hunters. So when they are at war and the wolves are almost in defeat, we intervene and bring some wolves to our side"

"ohh, what an evil plan you have" Sage commented and looked at Marcos who was watching us from afar and then whispered to the point that only ancient vampires heard "And the vampires"

"They've had their part done," I said with an innocent smile "and I'll reward them for it, letting them be happy, I'll give them the freedom!"
