Chapter 2: Experimenting with the System

Mike, was in his room happy that he has something, that will change him and his life for the better depending on the decision he will make with the system. After he calmed down from his excited state with a few breaths, he takes his time looking at the blue screen in front of him and reading what it has to offer.

Inspect - inspect a person and see his details, host must see the target.

Hypnosis - host can hypnotise a person at his choice, host need to look at the target in the eyes or to touch them when he usses this skill, the skill is based on the host will, the more will host has the better chances are to succed, if the target has lower will than the host hypnosis will have a 90% chance to work on the target. Host can rise his will by put his HP (hypnosis points) in will stat.

After looking at his stats Mike is a bit disappointed because of what he had imagine not because of what he sees in front of him, he thought about stats like in the game that he had played, the likes "str, agi ,int, wis etc.." but what the system shows him is completly different, after wasteing some time on useless thoughts he continues to look for more inforamtion that the system has for him.

Mike finds the store panel and he says the "words" in his mind and the blue screen change form his stats panel to the store, excited about the system having a store, Mike start looking at the blue screen to see what kind of things it's in the store.

But after seeing what the screen shows him he is disappointed because the words "Your system is currently at level 1, because of that you don't have access to the store."

Mike tries the last words he saw on the system panel and he says the words in his mind "Hypnotic points" after saying this the blue screen change in a new screen with a few words for him, more like a tip:"Hypnosis points are the currency for host to use in the store".

After looking at what the system panel has to offer him, Mike reread the first system panel to be sure that he didn't miss anything. Mike takes a few seconds on the panel and then he realized that he made a mistake, because of his enthusiasm didn't see the skills he had.

*Facepalm*

Then he said to himself "Mike what an idiot you are, how can you miss something so simple" after doing that he starts reading his skills. A few moments pass as Mike reads the skills he has and then without wasting anymore time he goes to the kitchen to eat something because his stomach start growling, he goes to the kitchen, opening the door slightly to see if his mother is inside, after checking that there is no one in the kitchen, he starts and prepares his breakfast.

After breakfast, Mike thinks about testing his abilities on a person to see how it works, he thinks about using hypnosis on his best friend. Mike chooses to wear the clothes he had last night, goes to the entrance to put on his shoes, takes the house keys with him, goes out the door and then locks the door, checks that he locked it by trying the door handle and then go to his friend to try his skills.

Mike takes the phone out of his pocket and contacts Ryan, his best friend.

* Ring * * Ring *

After a few seconds Ryan answers the phone.

"Morning Mike, how are you doing?"

"Hi Ryan, i'm good, how about you, how do you feel, did you eat breakfast?

"Yes man, i was surfing the internet, why did you call, did something happen between you and your mother?"

"Well, you know, I was just scolded, nothing important same things, hey are you free? because i'm on my way to you"

"Yes i will be waitng you, when you arrive just enter inside bye man"

"Bye Ryan"

After 20-30 minute of walking Mike is in front of Ryan house, and just like Ryan said he enters inside the house and goes to Ryan room.Mike enter in the room and take a chiar a puts it beside Ryan and start making small talks about the game he is playing, after a few moments, Mike looks at Ryan and say in his mind "Inspect", a blue screen appears in front of him.

Ryan didn't pay too much attention to Mike or what he was doing he was too focused on the game so he didn't see Mike staring at him at all.Mike finished seeing Ryan stats so he prepared to use his hypnoisi skill on him,Mike takes a deep breath puts a hand on Ryan shoulder and say "Hypnosis". It doesn't take long and Ryan stops playing without saying anything sitting on the chair and staring at the monitor without any sound, Mike seeing this didn't believe that it worked so easily until he receives a notification from the system.

-System Notification-

"Target will is lower than the host!"

"The host succeeded in hypnotized the target!"

"The host can make the target to do anything for the host!"

"After the host gives order to the target, the target will execute the order and won't remeber anything that happend after the order is executed waking up without knowing what happened"

Mike was dumbfounded for a few seconds he was staring at the blue screen in front of him with all the notification he received from the system. In order not to waste time staring, he orders Ryan to get up from his chair and go to the kitchen to bring something to drink because he is thirsty.

Ryan executes the order without saying a word goes to the kitchen, opens the fridge takes a dose of juice and brings it back to the room and offers it to Mike, after Mike takes a sip wonders how convenient it is to hypnotize someone who pleases you without comment, Mike orders Ryan to sit down and snap his fingers, Ryan wakes up without remembering what he did like nothing happened, time passes and Ryan stops playing his game and when he looks at Mike who was behind him he sees the juice dose in his hands wondering when did Mike left the room to get it, because he didn't heard the door opening or seeing him move...but maybe he was to focused on the game to notice.

Mike spends the rest of his time testing his ability to hypnotize Ryan by giving light commands to see how far he can go. Experimenting, Mike loses track of time until the phone rings with the alarm announcing that it's almost time to go home, after saying goodbye to Ryan on his way home. Mike looks at all the notifications he receives from the system while experimenting with the ability to hypnotize on Ryan.

"Because the host hypnotized a target with less willpower than him, you received 10 points"

"You received 5 points, for the order given to the target "Ryan" to bring you a dose of juice"

"You received 5 points for the order given to the target "Ryan" to do 20 pushups"

"You received 5 points for the order given to the target "Ryan" to ..."

"You received 20 points for the order given to the target "Ryan" to call his mother and tell her that he loves her more as a man than as a son"

"You received 20 points for the order given to the target "Ryan" to call the woman he likes and ask her if she wants to be with him"

"You received 20 points for the order given to the target "Ryan" to dance naked in the house and take pictures of him whit the phone"

"Congratulations to the host for collecting 100 HP and can upgrade the system level"

-Question-

"Do you want to upgrade the level of the system?"

-Yes/No?-

Mike doesn't even think about it and selects yes, the notification screen disappears. Before arriving home Mike receives a notification with the words "the system has been upgraded". Mike says the words in his mind "System".

*NEW* - Host can make the target to remember the order and execute it as if it were normal for the target to do such a thing!"

Mike was excited about the new addition of hypnosis skills, plus he figured out how to get more exp points with his skill. If he gives orders that are outside the comfort zone of his "target" then he receives even more points or if he orders the target to do things that he would not have the courage to do normally he receives more points.
